Party planning can be very stressful I was all the way stressed as I planned my best friends baby shower. I came across Valley Star Events and they had the most perfect peacock chair to match my vision of what I wanted this shower to be. We reconnected, you mentioned you remembered but said nothing about remediation. Denial. I am still disappointed and dissatisfied. I remember when I was asked on the pricing, I was told I would get free sign. None of that was decorated in the event. I was told I would have dragon center pieces. At the time of event, what I got was incomplete, the dragon doll was not attached to the center piece. For dessert table, I paid $500 for, I asked for Rice Krispies. I was not given that. The small cake and cupcake tasted mediocre and the design was just plain white cream vanilla cake with cut out of dragons from plastic plates. Horrible. I was just also told that as service they will decorate the balloon arch with balloons and flowers. Day of event, I saw her break flowers from within my community and stuck it on the arch rather then getting flowers from florist. For the price paid, i felt the service was bad. read more

At this point we feel like we were ripped off and scammed... We did not have the best experience this time around working with Cozette. We used her for our gender reveal and decided to give to use her again for our upcoming baby shower. We spoke with her two months ago about a balloon arch AND sent her a $275 deposit. She said she would send us a mock up of the arch a week before the shower. Well it's a week before the shower, her phone number did not work and it put my wife and I are in a stressful situation trying to figure this balloon arch out and we ended up finding an alternative vendors. Emailed her, messaged her on Instagram and tried calling multiple times and didn't receive any response back. When we finally got a hold of her after trying to call her one last time, she said she would refund our deposit. We are waiting on that deposit still. read more

This review is long overdue. We had our wedding back in March 2023. We only needed a backdrop for our civil wedding ceremony and we opted for a ring set up. Cozette held an all white party for me, and it was absolutely stunning!! The decor was spot on, the balloon wall backdrop was over the top amazing, what she did with all of the white tulle material was one of a kind! The appetizers were served fresh & ready every 30 mins the entire night, so the food wasn't just sitting out frm the beginning of the night, just getting cold & old. (But what else can you do)? Well, if it's feasible, def have little bits freshly served every 30-45 mins!! Genius idea!! There was a chef, a DJ, live entertainment in the form of an amateur stand up comedy show!! The stand up was a lot of fun, another idea that's extremely wise, yet rarely done. Our dress code was all white attire, frm head to toe (or as close to it as possible). If I can give this business 0 stars I would! The service is terrible. My daughter found this business and contacted Cozette to hire her for our backdrop for her graduation and 18th birthday party (one event). We paid our 50% deposit through their invoicing system. No problem. Comes the week of the event, I contact her to ask when we're paying her, how and if she can send invoice. She informs that we need to zelled her 48 hours prior like stated in contract. But I told her we made the original payment through her electronic payment system through credit card. She stated that since then, she had an event with an attorney who didn't end up paying her for her work. I told her I understand but because of one bad experience, why did I have to pay with Zelle where I wouldn't have any protection if she didn't show up. She said because they made this change after we hired them she'd talk to her partner Matt and get back to me. She got back to me saying it was ok to pay cash day of but had to meet her before setup time. I said no problem. My only issue was if she didn't show up. Comes day of event. I met her delivery person who said she isn't going to show up. I asked then how do I pay her and how do I get my receipt? She got Cozette on the phone and Cozette said to pay her and she would send me an electronic invoice. After for talking and making plans, I guess the delivery/setup person talked to Cozette and she said now she is coming. I had to leave to go get ready but waited so that I can give her payment so that there are no issues. So she shows up 30 mintutes past time for setup. I pay her cash, ask her to count since it's cash before I leave. I ask is this all you need? She says yes and I leave. After I leave to get ready and come back at 5 to take photos, she starts to text me to tell me they're picking up at 10pm. I said 10? We still have a party at 10. I told her the contract says next day by 12. She says she wrote the contract herself and there is nowhere that says that. I told her yes there is and that I would send it to her (which I did and please see pic) highlighted portion. She insisted it needed to be pickup that day threatened to charge more but she then regretted and apologized for her behavior. I assumed she went and saw the contract. Anyway, I told her her if she really needed to pickup tonight to come. She said she would at 1am. I said ok. Party was dispersing around 11:20. I texted her to let her know she could come earlier to pickup. No answer. I called her and no answer. I texted once more before leaving when Dj started cleanup that we are done and we will be leaving. But the vendor was still there until 1 for her to pickup. No answer. I leave around 12 after cleaning, paying everyone their tips. No answer no calls from her. We leave. read more
