Rude counter help- sadly- I so wanted to like this place and have for a while- When I got "tacos' for my middle schoolers, they gave me soft tacos but did not notice until I returned home. When I returned to get the regular tacos, the rude counter help said nothing to apologize that she had not asked which tacos we wanted. She just asked for more money. She said, "tacos mean soft tacos"- but on the menu it says, SOFT TACOS and HARD TACOS They should learn from Nordstrom...customer service means EVERYTHING. read more

Been going here for well over 10 years. Always been great and always leave a tip in the large container on the counter. I just found out the owner only shares the tips with the guys in the back. He says the guys do all the work. I guess he doesn't believe the women in the front do not contribute to the success of the business. My experience here today finally made me sign up on Yelp to write a review. In fact I would like to give it zero stars and see I have to give it at least one. I WILL NEVER BE ORDERING FROM HERE OR EATING HERE AGAIN...TREATED SO RUDELY TODAY!!! My family and 5 children have eaten/or gotten take out from here two times a week for many years. Today I called to place my order and instead of saying hello the OWNER just put the phone off to the side and left me waiting. After a minute I hung up and then tried to call for 20 minutes and got busy signal. Sent my son a text with our order and asked him to go down there in person to order. While my son was there waiting he watched the owner pick up the phone and put it to the side and then hang up several times. When my son got home, he realized that his part of the order was missing. So I returned to the store and explained this to the owner. He was argumentative and when I said "why did you answer my call earlier, not saying anything and put the phone to the side?". He said when there is a line of customers out the door I can not take phone orders. I explained that perhaps he might just want to not answer then or answer and say "call back later" or "I can't take orders right now", but to just leave the phone sitting there "connected" on a customer???!! He disagreed, argued loudly with me, and continued to say he had done nothing wrong. He then argued with me that we hadn't ordered the food I said was missing and showed me the ticket showing that the missing items weren't there (which means he might have written it down wrong -since my son wouldn't have forgotten his own items when reading my text), so I offered to pay for the items. He thrust the food at me and said "I don't want your **** money". Unbelievable. Zero stars for customer service, food probably would get 2 or 3. I thought it was just the front counter staff that were rude, but now I see that the owner is the one telling them to hang up on people, and they learn the rude behavior from him, etc. We have regularly had missing items and encountered the busy signal (which when we go down there, there is no one in the store - so it isn't because they are busy), but this time, the treatment by the OWNER himself was the final straw. Food is okay for fast food Mexican, but we will head over to Super Torta in OC from now on. Further away, but the staff and owner are never rude, no matter how long the line. Should have read reviews on the place before now as I see I have lots of company in how I was treated and the whole hang up phone thing!!! read more

I have to agree with the other reviewers that have been disgusted at the rudeness displayed here. I don't want to write a novel here, so I'll just say that in the 30 minutes I spent there, the girl taking our order managed to piss me off twice. On top of it all, she screwed up my order, and didn't even ask the cook to fix it when I told her about it. The cook was even shrugging his shoulders, and had to ask me through the window what to do to fix the order. This girl never apologized, even after I called her out on her obvious rudeness. Instead, she made excuses and claimed that she was not rude at all. Herein lies the problem - rudeness is in her nature, and she truly believes she is behaving like a normal human being. As I was sitting there, she was even rude to the high school students that came in to pick up their call-in orders. One of the students was in disbelief, and looked over at me to give me a "you have to be kidding me" look. You know the one. For the record, the food is worth three stars, but the disgusting display of rudeness drops two stars. I will drive another 10 minutes to Super Torta to get better food and amazing service. If authenticity is a priority for you in Mexican food, this is a good option. They rock the kitchen. Last I was a stupid Gringo in Mexico I didn't get great customer service either, so not losing any authenticity points there. Best Mexican food in or near West Linn by a long shot. read more

This is the best Mexican food in the area for sure and the prices are very reasonable. I would have given 5 stars based on food quality but seating is extremely limited. Given that you almost need to plan for takeout to take home or eat in your car. I sure wish they had more seating. read more

This is no reflection on the food. The food is great! The Hispanic lady at the counter on the other hand is awful. She is rude, never greets any customers, acts like you placing your order is big pain in her ass. Looks pissed off at the world. Not a welcoming place and definitely not one you will want to return to for the warm hospitality. The owner should take note of the reviews and change his front counter staff to someone who actually likes people and working. Hard to support local business when treated like garbage. The beef burrito is fantastic. Nachos are pretty good, but the burrito is what keeps me coming back. There isn't much seating inside, and the place is pretty small. It's as authentic as Mexican food gets in Oregon! read more

Lived in WL for years and come here all the time. I like to keep it simple and get the burritos. Everything is tasty though and very inexpensive! They also do cheeseburgers that are surprisingly pretty good. I love Senõr taco. Always a good idea read more

I've been here a hundred times and now I won't go back. The owner is simply terrible. I felt so bad for the employee working, she was clearly terrified of the owner and he was being so rude to her. She did her job properly as it has been done a hundred times with other employees doing the same for us and he was brutally trying to correct her. I even had to step in and stand up for her. If there was a minus star for customer service from the owner I would give it. Ive been going to Sr. TACO for several years untill last night I ordered a take away and when I arrived home I realized that my order was wrong. I called and made arrangements to pick up the correct order. When I arrived the owner gave me to much attatude and finger pointing at me that as a customer it was quite degrading. Isn't the customer always right? He held up the form that he wrote the incorrect order down and turned the whole thing around in me. Looking back over 2016, we spend over $1500 at this little taco stand. You'll be amazed at the realistic prices, and your taste buds will love you even more. Don't expect 5 star dining, but for the simplicity and fantastic, authentic taste, it is to die for. We Love Senor Taco! The closest thing to authentic Mexican food we can find. We go there at least 2 times per week. Hard shell tacos & the cheeseburger are the best. (YES- I said Cheeseburger at a Taco counter! Best homecooked burger, its kind of a hidden gem on the menu). Sometimes there is a line during peak hours but it's always worth the wait. We just sit back, relax & people watch while patiently waiting for the amazing food we're about to recieve. Staff there are friendly if you give them a smile and cooks are very attentive to your order. The cooks speak Spanish which is awesome! -you get to hear the language & practise speaking it to them when you say 'hello.' My very high rating is because this is as good as it gets for the price and the speed. The burritos and tacos are amazing for a quick inexpensive meal. I tend to get the crispy tacos which are the best (shredded beef with lightly fried corn tortilla). Their Machaca Burrito is top notch. read more

WE LOVE SENOR TACO!!! Best and most authentic Mexican in the area for sure. Very cheap and very worth it. The only thing that needs some love are the tamales, they were a bit dry and needed more meat added to them. Oh, and the owner is never very friendly, he needs to step up his customer service skills. Food is good, service is terrible! We've been coming to this restaurant for several years now, but in the last year they make a mistake on our order about half the time. Customer service is horrible. I've gone to both locations for years and it seems like the people in front don't care to get the order right. I order the same thing every time I go and most of the time it's wrong. We ask for extra wet sauce on a burrito and there isn't enough to cover. They don't seem to care about their customers at all.
