They do have a decent selection of hard to find fashion magazines and even some international titles that one doesn't often see on this side of the Atlantic. But even though Grand Central Terminal is only 25 miles away, this is not as city centric a newsstand I'd like and the selection - while good - wasn't quite what it undoubtedly once was [or could be]. I was able to score a copy of the newest Monocle magazine but my hopes for the International Herald Tribune were dashed when I saw it wasn't the newsprint version but rather a photocopied one. No deal. I know I can find the IHT in Manhattan but who needs the hassle.

i guess the name of the place is correct, you get off the saw mill in yonkers and grab a few…read morenewspapers , a cold or hot beverage and a few lottery tickets and get back on the road toward north just like i did. it's a convenience store so whatever you need just like a gas station minus gas . it's really good to have a gps cause i needed a bag of ice and this was the closest place on my journey which made my bag of wild caught salmon stay fresh . quick stop served a purpose and it's that simple .

NYT running a consumer fraud scam as bad as Wells Fargo's…read more I have been a customer with the NYT for nearly 20 years. I love the paper, but this year they started double billing my credit card. Long story short it took me from March until Sept. to get them to stop and I had to cancel my credit card to get them anyone with authority to even call me back. They admitted they had double billed and said they were issuing a $350.00 credit. So I said I'd stay on as a customer, b/c I do love their newspaper. Within 24 hours they had charged another $150.00 on my new replacement credit card even though they OWE ME MONEY. Now I have had to cancel a 2d credit card. The paper costs about $70.00/month--so to charge me $150.00 was another double charge--and they put it on my card even though they owed me a credit. Again I have spent 4 days and about 4 hours trying to reach the billing dept. They say they don't have a phone a customer can call and will have billing call back. They never do. AMEX--my credit card company say they get constant calls this year about this scam at NYT. So clearly this is a corporate policy, not just an error on my account. Bottom line-- they are double billing as a matter of corporate policy. I suppose my only option now is to file a complaint with the Calif. Attorney General. How sad!
