This is a tiny shop but filled with little treasures of new debuts (the intruder by Fridea McFadden is one that caught my eye) to the nostalgic classics (the entire HP series is there). I didn't spend as much time as I would've like but the bookstore is very cozy and the man who greeted us was kind and helpful. I will be sure to come back next time I'm in town!

When I came in one of their local book clubs was running - it was so fun to listen in on the conversations and community. During this visit I found a great graduation gift and one of the booksellers helped connect me to some upcoming events related to some recent reads and interests I shared. They have an expansive section for spanish speakers and the large used books shelf highlights their commitment to bringing books to members of the community. I was delighted I ended up spending more time in the store than I planned to. This is a great spot if you're looking for a book, a gift for a book lover or want to get involved in your community!

The staff is very friendly and more than willing to assist. During the short time that we visited, I saw a walking tour explaining the history of the bookstore/area and a few people discussing the topic of the day. I enjoyed perusing old editions of Life magazine and enjoyed the plenty of seating that was available. If you're ever in Ossining, don't hesitate to stop into Hudson Valley Books. I'm sure, that you'll find something worth purchasing.

Such a cute little convenience and gift shop that has a…read morebunch of greeting cards, board games, trinkets, stuffed animals, a whole beautiful wall of candy, a cigar room, drink fridges with alcohol and other drinks, a coffee station with cups of ice for anyone who wants ice coffee, an ice cream freezer, and a small selection of baked goods. I was looking for a quick and easy snack like a bagel so I ended up getting a whole wheat bagel (which I took home and toasted/buttered), chocolate chip cookies Nesquik, Nerds Rope, Nerds gummy clusters, and I was intrigued so I got the Shaq gummies too. Great candy selection. Perfect low-key place if you need a little something to hold you over after a game on the field across the street. As for what I got (which doesn't really reflect the place itself but just for fun): Whole wheat bagel: pretty solid bagel! Big and fluffy with the home closed up which I love. Chocolate Chip Cookie Nesquik: Not as good as I thought it'd be, tasted a bit like coffee and I don't like coffee lol Shaq-a-licious Gummies: Not great unfortunately. The gummy was a little bit harder and stickier than a normal gummy and the flavors were very artificial. Nerds Rope and Nerds Gummy Clusters: the perfect candy in my opinion, chewy sweet and tangy and a little crunch on the outside. Cake Bites: I love the rainbow cookie and birthday cake ones of these so I was excited to see the rainbow ones. Very good!
