The workers were very nice & the price and facilities were fine! However, they cut my foot during a pedicure pretty severely. She tried to ignore it thinking maybe it wasn't that bad, but when I pointed it out she got first aid and apologized very genuinely. I totally understand accidents happen. Unfortunately, it just was not a great experience for me as now it hurts to wear shoes & probably will take about a week to heal. The pedicure itself was not bad, not notably amazing, but I wouldn't NOT return if I needed to. Overall pretty average nail salon (excluding the cut). read more

Thank you baby Jesus for leading me to Sensational Nail and Spa. After moving to Laveen and having NIGHTMARE manicures/pedicures, I'd had enough and made the drive to Goodyear. Desperate for a gel mani and pedi, I arrived around 3:15 pm on a Tuesday and was the only person in the salon. Although I didn't catch my tech's name, she did a phenomenal job. I haven't had a mani/pedi that good since I moved from Desert Ridge 3 months ago. The salon uses throw away pedi liners, is immaculate, all tools are sanitized and brought out in individual packs, and their selection of gel polish is great. The cost for a gel mani and hot stone pedi was $56.00 It's already been 10 days since I was there and both my hands and feet look awesome. Please give this place a try. It's actually called TT Nail & Spa from the sign. Anyways, when I first came in nice owner, asked me to choose a gel color. Have me enough time without hassling me to hurry with a color like other places. Mistake numero 1 : Didn't take my precious gel overlay off, drilled a part of it off, which means there's a big possibility that my acrylic will lift because of this. Mistake numero 2 : While rushing to get my gel overlay off, he cut my cuticle. While it was a mistake, the right precautions were not taken. Instead of cleaning with a bit of alcohol (Like other places have done) he immediately placed NAIL GLUE OVER MY OPEN CUT. While this is an OK thing to do, he didn't even clean it first. LITERALLY I FELT ANXIETY THAT MY FINGER WOULD HAVE TO GET AMPUTATED lol Mistake numero 3: He didn't throw that drill in a cleaning solution or toss it, he used it on ANOTHER CLIENT. With my open wound junk on the drill. SICK!!!!! Mistake numero 4: Rushed through my acrylic overlay, looking away while still drilling on my nail. IDC how often you do nails and you can "do it with your eyes closed" KEEP YOUR EYES ON YOUR WORK ALWAYS! Mistake numero 5: Client came in whose gel polish changed color (murky looking) asked if she could have it re-done MAKES SENSE WE DONT PAY $36 for a polish that changes color! The women who I was passed off to SIGHED so loud because she was annoyed of this customer. FIRST OF ALL RUDE! She also was upset that I asked her to clean the dust off my nail before adding the gel polish. SORRY LADY I DONT WANT DUST UNDER MY GEL POLISH. Mistake NUMBER 6: My acrylic was THICKER THAN A SNICKER. I couldn't tell until I saw one coat of gel polish on it. DONT WORRY I ASKED FOR THINNER ACRYLIC BEFORE THEY TRIED TO PLACE MY NAIL UNDER THE LIGHT. I'm not that rude. MISTAKE NUMBER 7: He told me "Everyone usually wants medium thickness you have to tell me next time" Sorry dude, I can't tell how thick it is until polish is on. Then I decided it's best I don't spend the extra money on GEL polish because I was disappointed. OH WAS HE SO EXCITED ABOUT THAT. He also tried to give me a baby lecture on how we don't wash our hands after acrylic if you get gel ( basically a hit at me because I asked the woman to clean my nail of dust with alchy) and said since your getting polish you can wash your hands. I washed my hands, got a bad polish job, and left. Also, they were trying to take too many clients at once. He was working on two people at once which is probably why he was rushing on my nails. Literally sanding my nails like it was a piece of wood!!!!!! THATS MY NAIL MAN!!!! THE ONLY ONE I'LL EVER HAVE! So all in all. Bad experience. I gave two stars for the kindness I was shown BEFORE I asked for the dust to be wiped off and for a thinner nail. Whatevs lol never going back. UNLESS my finger gets infected. This place is next to Hawaiian Spa and is labeled TT Nails. Anyway. Walked in at 9am and the guy asked what I wanted. I said gel mani and pedi. He asked if I could come back. Well that was that. Didn't offer an appointment. Just said "can you come back later?" and pointed his head back down on the nails he was working on. Didn't feel like they wanted my business. I left disappointed. This place is terrible and I'll never come back even if it was the last place on earth. I went in for a pedicure, soak off, and full set. The pedicure was mediocre, but the older lady did a great job on my french tip toes. The man, who I think is running the shop, needs to be humbled. He acts like he's some nail guru, but in reality he doesn't know anything. My full set looked like trash. Nails were crooked, which I told him about and he didn't bother to fix it. I asked for square shape so why did my nails come out almost almond shape? At that point I was irritated and ready to go so whatever. THEN, I asked for french tip and he could barely do that. This is by far the best nail salon in Avondale, Goodyear, Litchfield Park area. After moving to the west valley I visited several nail salons, trying to find one where the technicians did impeccable work and payed strong attention to detail. Jenny is definitely my favorite. My nails and toes always look fantastic and both my manicure and pedicure last! Even when I don't get gel manicure the polish manages to stay on my nails for several days. Came in about 5:30pm on a Wednesday evening. I was seen right away. The service was awesome and my technician was really attentive to my needs. Michelle was gentle with my nails and did an amazing design. I got acrylic nails with gel polish. When putting my hand under the uv light to dry, I accidentally tapped my nail and Michelle was more than happy to fix it. Jenny is a fantastic nail tech. This place is moderately clean and they're friendly. It doesn't smell too bad. They blast country music; not my thing. The male tech is too fast in doing a full set that he doesn't pay attention to detail. He also does what he wants and not what the customer wants. He's almost arrogant. They have a lot of pedi packages to choose from. They have licenses visible. Nail clippers, files, shapers aren't sanitized or cleaned between each client. They seem to not be concerned with cross contamination of germs/bacteria. read more

Even though I love what Jenny can do I had to give an updated review of 2 stars and explain why I won't be back. Positives: Jenny does a good job with painting your nails and any designs needed. The price for a gel is great too ($25). However...I've been there multiple times. The last time she left the tin foil acetone wraps on my fingers for WAY too long causing burns. My fingers peeled for weeks. Yes I should have realized they were on too long but I spaced out while she was giving me a pedicure. A nail tech should be conscious of how long a customer has chemicals on. Since I've been there many times we chat. Every. Single. Time. I get asked why am I not having children. Each time I said I'm unable to do so and will not be having any and try to direct the conversation elsewhere. It's a sensitive topic for me especially when someone keeps asking over and over and is aware I don't want to talk about it. Also they burn incense here which triggers my asthma and migraines. Between the last time of being asked when I'm having a baby for the 4th plus time and my fingers getting chemical burns I've decided to go elsewhere. read more
