We used Family Affairs package for our photography, videography and DJ services at our Key West destination wedding in April, 2017. From the very beginning, we were well taken care of. During our initial phone call, Joann spent nearly 2 hours explaining our options and answering our questions. Bernadette was our point person during the wedding-planning process. She was Great and made things as stress free as possible. She also created a detailed timeline of events for our wedding days, which we distributed to other vendors to help make sure our big day went as smoothly as possible. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and stress free. Iris, our photographer from Senses at Play was amazing!! She was very calm and professional, which goes a long way in such a high energy situation. She had great ideas, made sure everyone was standing and looking exactly where they needed to catch the best expressions. Her results were also amazing- we could not be happier with our photos! Our videographer Christina was also from Senses at Play and was very wonderful as well. She was always where she needed to be to catch all the special moments that day but very discrete. Our highlights video was beautiful and our full length video captured everything. We are so happy we decided to include videography in our package. Our DJ, Aaron Moore from Sound Wave was also top notch. He played great music the entire reception, and me, my husband and nearly everyone of our guests were dancing from start to finish. Even my grandpa was on the dance floor all night! 15 minutes before the reception ended, Aaron made sure to track me (the bride) down so I could pick our last couple songs, which I really appreciated. Overall, I highly recommend The Family Affairs package, especially when planning a destination wedding out of state. John and Bernadette McCall were the first ones I wanted to contact after I got engaged. I have personally worked with both of them while catering events in Key West and I have seen their amazing skills and professionalism. Not only that but they were always so positive and friendly! I was thinking...now I will be the bride so I was not sure how things are going to go. But it was all perfect! Communication with them was wonderful . Bernadette answered all of our questions and she made suggestions for us. John was our photographer and we arranged a meeting with them in their amazing studio to talk about all details before the wedding. 3 weeks before the wedding I injured my knee and had to contact all vendors to figure out a plan ..since I had to be bride on crutches. That was not an issue at all and we had to changed few things to accommodate my situation.John just always seemed to be in the right place at the right time to catch all the action and candid photos that will serve as lifetime memories for us. He was so kind and helpful throughout the entire process and his skill and passion were clearly visible in his work. He made us genuinely smile and knew exactly how to work with our large wedding party (7 bridesmaids and 7 groomsman ) and bride that is on crutches. ....in the most graceful way. John and Bernadette from, Senses at Play, were amazing! The whole Senses at Play team was amazing. We could not have asked for a better photographer. Senses at play set up a photo timeline and stuck to it. Many times before the big day it was reviewed and updated for my preference. John was timely and very was full of patience. When he came to the bridal suite, my bridesmaids and I were running around trying to get ready, he was calm as a cucumber. He was professional and gave great tips for the photos. We received all of our photos within 30 days of the wedding, all edited, all beautiful. My husband and I missed the original email about our photos, and they reached out to us asking if we had received, they made sure we got out photos. John, Joanna, and team did a FANTASTIC job. I highly recommend them and would work with them again in a heartbeat. They were professional, friendly, and are great at what they do. Suggested poses and had a great eye for the details. They gave good instructions for a variety of pictures and I'm so thrilled with how they turned out. Perfect experience from very the first contact with Senses At Play. Through email I could tell John was a fun energetic person to work with! Bernadette and John were amazing! My husband and I flew down to key west for our honeymoon. We wanted to take beautiful pictures near the water. They both were able to capture the beauty of the water and make us feel comfortable. We saw them the next day out in public and we just had to go up to them again and tell them how much fun we had.
