By the time I came to pick him up from an over night stay at Pam's Pet Sitting, he was jumping in Pam's husband's lap and chasing the other dogs around the yard! I can always rest at ease whenever my dog is at Pam's. She also walks the dogs daily and makes sure they get plenty of exercise.

I know most dog daycare facilities have some sort of agreement to protect them from liability and I get that. However, when I wanted something added into the agreement stating that only Pam would give my dog medicine and that I didn't want her walked due to my dog's old age but she flat out refused. I wasn't sure why because it's not a big deal and I was ready to sign it and move on. If anything it provides security for me as a pet parent and also for her too. She just said she's take care of it and not to worry about it. Yeahhhh, sorry but that's not good enough for me. This should have been a red flag right there. I tried to ignore this but I couldn't get past that weird encounter so I had to take a hard pass on using her services. Eventually I was able to find another dog sitter for Molly who had no problem supporting my care plan for her. I hold no ill will towards her but because of my experience I can't recommend using Pam's dog daycare.

I only had him for a short piece of time and had necessarily built up a network for him yet, so when my boss sent me on a week long business trip I was freaking out because I hadn't necessarily secured a dog walker or boarding services. I reached out to several places and none of them were able to take my dog on short notice. I did have a conversation with another service that actually excepted my job but last minute totally flaked less than 24 hours before I was due to board my plane!!! I called Aimee in a full on panic! I let her know what was going on and she immediately came over to my house to assess the situation and feasibility of my job. She had several other things going on but due to my circumstance she took my job and executed it flawlessly! My dog was boarded at my home but she came by twice a day to clean his enclosure and take him for walks. She did so as contracted. I have a camera in my basement so I was able to see every time she came over in the exchange and she treated my dog so wonderful!!!! That meant a lot to me. Amy not only save me from a potential disaster but she also gave me the assurance that my pet was taken care of with love. Miss Aimee is now a part of my for babies CareNetwork and I'm so happy for that.

We have worked with trainers to manage his reactivity, and he has improved so much with us - but he absolutely would not let anyone else come near him to put a leash on and walk him. We couldn't figure out what to do with him while we worked because no one could really get near him. We tried 4 other walkers over 5 months and I truly lost all hope - he HATED them all. I reached out to my trainer in desperation, who recommend Tamara. Even after explaining my dogs behaviors and failed walkers, she was still willing to take on the challenge. She came over to meet Reese and just sat on the floor with a million treats until he was comfortable. She then did this for every day he needed a walk until he was comfortable. She has been walking Reese for about 8 months and sometimes he even still has a freak out on her when he has off days. She never gives up on him, she is always patient with him and she even brings other dogs with her to socialize him on walks. Not to mention she has learned his triggers outside and avoids them or manages Reese's behaviors on walks. I do not know what we would do without her. I never would have imagined that Reese and her could be besties now - she even came to his birthday party. If you have a reactive dog, I would not trust anyone else walking them besides Tamara.

I have never enlisted a dog sitter with my previous pup so I was a little nervous. Sadie was caring at the initial "meet & greet" 2 weeks prior and texted me pics and videos over the 48-hour stay. My pup was very well cared for and she made sure I was updated. She even took out the trash and laundered the sheets & towels before leaving which was completely unexpected. Thank God when I arrived back home, my dog had only gotten into the peanut butter and as a result did get sick later that day. If he had reached the medication, it could have been deadly. That was scary enough to see my walker was careless, but what was offensive was how the owner Rhonda never reached out to follow up on the situation or even check on the status of my dog. It proved that they only care about taking your money and not for the safety of your pets. Please be cautious and do not use this company.

My husband and I used Professional Pet Sitters from October 2014 to March 2015. We liked Jessica,…read morethe owner of the company, when we met her and trusted her and her staff to come and walk our two dogs twice per week. We had two dog walkers assigned to us, who were scheduled based on availability. Each time they would come, they would leave a note about the visit, indicating how many treats the dog got, if the dogs went to the bathroom, etc. The company has a nice online portal which makes it easy to schedule walks and choose the time of your walk. Ours were usually scheduled from 11am-1pm, or sometimes 12-2pm. Invoices were emailed out on Sunday nights, and you login to authorize a payment. One week I was double-charged, and Jessica was unable to figure out why, so I disputed the extra charge with my credit card. Another time, my credit card was authorized for payment when I hadn't logged in to authorize it. I found that odd, but had been planning to pay the invoice in the next few days anyway so I let it go. It takes tremendous trust to allow someone access to your house and your pets when you're not around, and we believed the services were being performed and visits were happening during the promised times. We were really disappointed to learn that on three occasions, our dogs weren't walked and visits weren't taking place during the promised times. On our scheduled dog walk on February 3 (we were scheduled for a walk between 12-2pm), my husband arrived home at 4pm and ran into our walker, two hours later than our scheduled visit. That made us wonder if walks were routinely happening late. On Thursday, February 5, the walker arrived late again, this time at 3pm. The dogs were outside for less than one minute, and the entire duration of the visit was 10 minutes. We were disappointed in the late arrival and short visit, but hoped it was just a fluke. On Tuesday, March 10, our walker arrived at 2:55pm. The dogs were outside for less than 2 minutes and the entire visit lasted 10 minutes. That day was beautiful- 45 degrees and sunny and perfect dog walking weather. There is no excuse for no walk being given. Although I can't prove it, it seems probable that visits were late and walks weren't given on other dates as well. Knowing this information, we canceled our services immediately. Jessica wrote a long response to my cancellation email apologizing and offering 8 free walks, but the trust had already been broken and I was no longer interested in having her walkers in my house. Several of my friends use a dog walker that sends them picture texts of their dog enjoying a walk in the neighborhood each day. I think that's a nice way to show that your dog is indeed being walked and prove that walks are happening during the scheduled time. Unless Professional Pet Sitters can prove to you that their dog walkers are trustworthy and reliable, I wouldn't recommend working with them.
