Lindsey took excellent care of my two cats, and even though my flight was delayed from 10am arrival to a 8pm arrival, when I got home, my cats still had enough food/water out to make sure they were well fed despite my delay. She wrote out two detailed visit summaries indicating when she visited and what happened during the visit. The cats loved their sitters, and I had piece of mind knowing that my cats were being well take care of. We love out-u-go!! We had never left our young dog alone with anyone before, but we had an out of town wedding to attend. She is a little afraid of new people, so we were nervous. After reading reviews, we decided to give it a try. Amanda and her team are great. She came to our house to meet our dog and go over some details. She then sent our sitter Basia over to meet our dog before her overnight stay. Basia did an outstanding job. She updated us with texts and pictures. It allowed me to relax and enjoy our trip. Out-U-Go Downer's Grove is LIFE SAVING. We travel quite a bit and Amanda, Angela and team have always done a fantastic job of taking care of my two dogs and home while we are away. This week we were both traveling and Jessica noticed our dog Max behaving strangely. He wasn't acting sick, but he wasn't himself. She contacted me immediately and we made the decision to take him to the emergency clinic. It was determined he had Bloat and emergency surgery was necessary. I have been very pleased with Out-U-Go. I moved here from the West Coast last year and find myself scrambling to find someone to take care of my kitties every time I go back home to visit family. Last year I bounced from person to person, trying to find a balance between cost and someone who I could trust with my cats-- because they are 100% my babies!! After having sitters who would not respond to me while I was out of town and/or returning to find that the litter box was never cleaned or my cat's or their area a mess (as if straight up nobody came) I started to get increasingly frustrated. I finally found OutUGo and I don't think I need to keep looking anymore. While they are a little more expensive than some options, this is a case where you get what you pay for. The owner, Amanda, is VERY accessible. She always responds to my texts, calls, or emails very promptly. After having other cat sitters who wouldn't get back to me for days, I can't say how much I appreciate this. I have been provided updates while I am out of town on how my kitties are doing and what the sitter does with them. And when I come home, there are detailed notes documenting what was done each day. If you are someone who worries a lot about your pets while out of town (like I do), I can say that OutUGo put me at ease more than any other sitter I'd hired. Lastly, OutUGo operates with more professionalism than any other pet sitters or companies I've interacted with. We got married October 3, 2015 and needed someone to help drive our dog around for pictures (venue doesn't allow dogs but allowed him to be there for pictures). We contacted Out U Go seeing if they could help us out and they said sure! Amanda came over to meet us a few weeks beforehand and after meeting her, I knew my dog,Axle, would be in great hands. The day of the wedding, Amanda arrived with Axle in his tux on time and ready to help.
