For the 3 years that I was with them, I was happy with the service and timely fashion that they responded to questions and were able to get my taxes done on time. The start of this year, I was informed that the company had been sold to another company in PA in late 2023. I wasn't thrilled but at least I thought that the local accountants that have worked with me would be staying on board but no, I was sadly mistaken. This company in PA (Prevail) completely gutted the staff that had been loyal to this firm and were outsourcing the jobs to their accountants in PA. This caused my personal and business taxes to be delayed, even though I had all my paperwork in on time. I had to hire a new accountant to finish my returns in a timely fashion since Chamberland notified me that my returns would need an extension while they looked over my file. This was to no fault of my own but now I have had to pay another accountant to finish my taxes and Chamberland ie Prevail refuse to refund me for the work they have not done. It's a shame that a local business not only lost all their staff but what was once a good local business is now not the same.

I waited in 99 restaurant and got a call just before midnight. Here is the killer! You have to park in a dark alley between 2 mills and many homeless panhandlers are nearby. I saw a rat running along the building which grossed out my girlfriend. I had to talk her out of the car. This is crazy!!! He has a disgusting office layered with years of dust on top of copy paper boxes piled high crushing them. He leaves to the bathroom every 15 minutes. As if that wasn't bad enough he kept falling asleep while working. Several times I stomped my foot to wake him. No not kidding. Read other reviews. At one point he fell asleep with his hand on the keyboard. Not zzzzzzzz although it should have been. We contemplated tiptoeing quietly out the door and shutting the lights off. You can't make this stuff up. Bring your camera and get some good vids:). Best of luck
