The corn dogs are delicious, especially when you add the potato chunks to them. The mayo is a great addition for the taste. Overall I enjoy their variety of corn dogs very much. But the service was VERY slow this time compared to my first visit. There were only around 3 other tables there and 1 Uber eats order & We waited 25 min for our corn dog. One of the other table still didn't fully receive their food when we finally started eating ours (and we ordered before them)... That's a long time to wait for 2 corn dogs. The patio is really cute for summer though, if you don't mind the wait time.

I get it. I understand why I has to try this. YOU should too!

4 s out of 5 for - yes, try the one with the ramen; that crunch, so good! - pricey - friendly staff - huge patio for social distancing; looks like heaters are available for colder nights - appreciate the PA system to call you that your order is ready - the dips - could be bigger portion and in a container that matches the shape size of this h-dog on a stick

    Cheese/beef + potatoes

Service was bad. My sister got over charged and it was difficult to get a refund. Took a while and wasn't too busy. Menu was misleading as well, there is only half a hot dog inside. The food was pretty yummy but will keep going to chung-chuns instead.

I did the full beef dog with with ramen crisps & garlic sugar with spicy ketchup for dipping. I loved the beef & ramen part and the spicy ketchup added a nice touch. There was too much breading for me personally so I ended up picking off the ramen to eat with the beef. It is a nice late night snack though. Staff were friendly and helpful but the service was ridiculously slow for there only being a couple other tables of customers there. I was full from having dessert first at another location but my stomach was growling and hungry again by the time we got our dogs. The bathroom was very clean and I loved the giant mirror in there. Their wall graffiti with other food options and their outdoor heated patio were a nice touch and surprisingly peaceful for a Friday evening.

The tips of the corn dog labels which one is which - super innovative!

Salang Kabob House has been on my list of places to try for some time now, so I was thrilled when I saw that they had a BOGO (buy one get one free) special on UberEats. It was $19.99 BOGO for a Mixed Shami Platter. So this is what I got. Each platter came with a ground chicken kabob, a ground beef kabob, rice, salad and naan. It was a lot of food and a great deal. I enjoyed the chicken shami, but I found the beef shami a bit gamey. The kabobs had a good flavour to them. The rice was soft and fluffy and nicely seasoned, but a little bit oily for my tastes. The salad was iceberg lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes and red onions. Vegetables were fresh and crisp. The salad came with a spicy red sauce, which I liked, and a creamy dressing, which I didn't use. The naan was tasty and I appreciated that it didn't have pesky sesame seeds sprinkled on it like some other places. I ordered for pickup and the food was ready in about 15-20 minutes. Pickup was quick and efficient. The restaurant has lots of seating inside. There's free parking available in front of the restaurant. The parking is shared with neighbouring businesses. (102)

Five Stars -- The Best Philly Cheesesteak I've Ever Had…read more I just had the best Philly cheesesteak of my life. I don't say that lightly. From the first bite to the last, it was absolute perfection. The steak was unbelievably tender, sliced thin and piled high, cooked just right so every bite was juicy and full of flavour. The cheese? Melted perfectly into every bite, rich and smooth. And the bun... warm, soft, with just the right hint of crispness. It held everything together like a proper cheesesteak should. And here's the part that shocked me: it was better than any cheesesteak I've ever had in Philadelphia -- and I've had plenty. This one sets a whole new benchmark. Every ingredient tasted fresh, every flavour balanced. No shortcuts. No filler. Just pure, delicious craftsmanship. It's the kind of sandwich that makes you stop mid-bite and appreciate what's happening. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed something this much. If you think you've had a great Philly cheesesteak before, think again -- this one is on another level. I'll be back. Now let's talk about the Onion Rings I got as a side! Simply perfection. Nice and crispy in a very tasty batter. Best in Ottawa, by far! I will definitely be back!

My husband and I came here recently for an early dinner…read more We each had the 2 piece broast chicken combo ($7). Each combo includes fries, coleslaw, garlic sauce and a can of pop (although we never got any garlic sauce, but they gave us 9 packets of ketchup (yipee!), since I love ketchup and garlic sauce is usually fattening anyway, I was happy with just the ketchup). The wait is long because they make everything to order. It was about a 20-25 minute wait. The chicken is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside with a nice hint of flavour. I feel that the chicken is slightly better here than at Zaki's Broast. Broasted chicken is supposed to be less greasy and oily than fried chicken, but I still found it oily. The best broasted chicken I've ever had was at La Hoyo in Halifax which is now closed :( I'm still looking for chicken like that... The fries here are much better than at Zaki's in my opinion. The fries at Laziz are hand cut and lightly seasoned. The coleslaw here is also amazing. It's the creamy type which I usually don't like but I liked Laziz's coleslaw. The dressing is slightly sweet and they use purple and green cabbage, so it looks really colourful. There's a nice crunch to the coleslaw too. The older man who works here is very nice, but the younger guy was really indifferent towards us. The place is clean enough, as are the washrooms. There's sufficient seating and lots of free parking. It's in the same strip mall as the Mark's, Sushi Kan, and Eclipse Asian Cuisine.

So after thinking about it for a while we finally visited the restaurant. My wife had the Pollo Pesto and I had the fettuccini Kara Mia. We started the meal with the breaded shrimp as the appetiser, this comes with a little cup of marinara sauce. It is well suited to be shared by two people, 4 pieces each. One suggestion would be to include two cus of sauce, one per person. The food was tasty, and the portions are just the right size. Service was generally good, however i would have liked the server to offer fresh ground pepper as part of his service. All in all a good experience and will be returning. The menu has many dishes that peaked our interest.

Ambiance at this restaurant was lovely, dark interior, accent lightning all around. Onto the food, we tried different pasta/ chicken and I would say some dishes are tastier than others. Saffron poutine is definitely a staple item on their menu, highly recommend! Peppercorn chicken lacked seasoning and was bland. The Cajun pasta wasn't spicy but at least it had plenty of sauce. Service was spot on! They were vigilant and food came out quickly after order. The staff was very nice. Overall, it's worth checking out.

We ordered the beef rendang , the mixed satay , the five star chicken , the Bali beef , the chili jumbo shrimp , the spring roll , platters of traditional rice , couple of fish dishes. We did not order any noodle dishes although reviews say theyare good Quickly to the pros and cons Pros 1. The tassste : of course my fav was jumbo chili shirmp , with a sweet tangy taste and spice tastes amazing with the rice ; if you are ordering it take it with the white rice and not traditional . The traditional is basmati fried and white is boiled rice Shortly behind that comes beef Bali sautéed with onions . The whole corianders fried wit this dish just hit the right notes and the onions were sweet enough , the sauce was great , the beef rendang was a little too spicy for 3 stars and I won't say that the five star chicken is a must fry , but it's dilute sauce so it goes pretty well with rice 2. The consistency / all dishes were consistently great The not so special ones are as follows imho The five star chicken , the snicker pie and the shaved ice dessert 3. The service : quick and lot of knowledge will be shared if you ask the right questions , they don't push sell , the lady who served was very gracious and kind 4. Complimentary shrimpy fryums 4.
