I thought this was all normal. Lately, during my fills, I have felt pain when she is replacing old lashes with new ones. I went to see someone else who took close-up pictures of the work done at the Day Spa. Up to 3 lashes were attached to my real lashes and my real lashes were badly damaged. This explains the pulling feeling I felt and the pain I felt when she pulled off old ones. When I called the Day Spa to report this they tried telling me that this is how fans are done. Not true! Lashes should go on one single lash when applied. Lashes should not be uncomfortable or hurt at all. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Due to Brooke departing paths with this spa I was willing to give another staff member a shot as I have always had good encounters here. I showed up for my appointment, and was told by the staff member she did not feel comfortable and would not be able to do my service. If clients are required to call 24 hours in advanced for cancellations to respect the staff members time the staff member should be able to do the same for the client. I felt as though my time was not valued by this business. I ended up going elsewhere, and will be from now on.

I woke up extremely ill: sore throat, coughing,  sneezing, fever. I called to cancel,  too sick to come in and unwilling to spread what I had to Cheryl or anyone else. Since my appointment was at 9, and they opened at 9, I called a few minutes earlier hoping to get a person, since I didn't know how quickly they check messages, and I didn't want anyone wondering why I hadn't showed. The receptionist was beyond rude, saying she couldn't understand why I didn't call earlier than 5 minutes before my appointment since they had a 24 hour cancelation policy. I pointed out I hadn't planned on being sick so couldn't have called 24 hours in advance,  and called as early as I thought I could given my appointment was at 9, and they open at 9. She then went on to say I should have called earlier and left a message or texted because the owner always checks messages and they could have gotten other people in because there were a lot of people waitlisted. She had the snottiest tone in this 3 minute phone call where she fought with someone who was clearly sick.  I told her I was so upset with how she treated me,  didn't appreciate it,  was offended,  and wouldn't be coming back.  She just hung up on me.  I reached out to the owner,  who according to this receptionist,  is constantly checking messages but it's been crickets. For all of you who came after 9 who would have been exposed to a nasty bug if I would have come,  just know they apparently would rather I have kept the appointment than worry about your health.

I was a little disappointed that the $55 pedi didn't offer the hot stones, but the $50 service did. I guess the CBD cost the extra $10 as it felt like I had a normal pedicure. Even though the person cut me to much to make me bleed and didn't say anything about it until I was like is that blood coming from my toenail. Glad I bring my own cuticle trimmers. But my hubby person name Gemy (hope spelled it correctly) was great he said. The shop was nice and clean they make you wash your hands after signing in which is good. My nails ended up so thick, not natural looking at all. The entire place needs a makever and a thorough cleaning. Very visible dust on the clocks and faded art on the walls. The smocks all the techs wear need to be washed or replaced. Dirty. And yes, the language barrier with most of the techs makes trying to explain concerns fruitless.

The nail tech cut one of our toenails very short without asking despite them not needing to be cut. They ended up being so short on one foot to the point they hurt. You need to tell nail tech exactly what you want up front, but there was a language barrier, making it difficult.

Kameron was attentive, professional, and highly skilled. She took the time to focus on the areas where I was experiencing the most pain and tension and adjusted her technique accordingly.
