Sephora recently moved to this new location in Cherry Creek Shopping Center and it feels slightly bigger and somewhat more open. Selection is still very wide with everything you could want from lipstick, hair oil, fragrances, Korean skincare, etc. Your choices here really are never-ending. Hours can easily be spent. Prices seem to be right around what average market price is. Every employee I've encountered here has been nice and helpful. read more

Shout out to Tanner! He was super attentive and helpful. He gave me recommendations while I waited outside the business for my turn to enter the store. I walked out with primer, contouring makeup, shimmer, and brushes. He explained how to apply the product and ensured that I understood the appropriate brushes that corresponded with each makeup product. My one meh impression is based on company policy. That is regarding the company's creepy allegiance to government scare tactics, specifically making customers wait as outside prior to entering the building. Enough catering to government mind control. For corporate management who make such decisions, have some balls. Recognize that this isn't about our safety. Sephora is fantastic, this place is one of my favorite stores at the Cherry Creek mall! They have a wide selection of makeup, perfume and cologne, across a variety of brands. I recently came here with a friend to pick out a Christmas gift for his girlfriend and the experience was excellent. In the perfume section of the store they had a lady dedicated to spraying the perfumes and letting you smell each one. The store is your typical, under-stocked Sephora. Due to the logistics problems, I can understand why this is happening but was very excited to find what I was looking for. All the good, right? Well, I go to check out, didn't know there's a charge for a bag, as I'm not local/not from Colorado! I question why the charge, and the rudest cashier says, this is the case everywhere in Denver. I explain, "oh I'm not from here" and she mutters quite loudly "so rude" - I can guarantee I'm not the first to question this charge. But ok! I turn around to ask why she says that and she rolls her eyes. I ask for a manager - the manager apologized. I return my items - if you aren't able to just be a tiny bit kind and respectful towards paying customers, why should I support your store. The Sephora by my house will be a better spot to shop. My disappointment isn't so much how the store is situated but the awfulness of how I was treated. It isn't that hard to show kindness, compassion. Let me start by clarifying that a sales woman named Laurie was exceptional at customer service and damage control! She personally deserves "5 stars" and recognition! However, the he/she/them person who I asked for help was inappropriately RUDE and unprofessional. I mistakenly referred to that person as "he" to another clerk. He walked over to me to scold me for referring as "he" and I immediately apologized sincerely and said I meant no disrespect. He walked away. I met eyes with him again and said "Again, I truly apologize." He says to me "you are rude, you should be sorry!" Totally uncalled for. I am very respectful of everyone and have no issues with being transgender but perhaps If this person wants it to be 100% clear he identifies as a woman, fix yourself up and look pulled together if you're selling pricey makeup in a top notch make up store in a very expensive mall! Ironically, i was at the mall before moving from Denver but I will say I would never be shopping in your store again. This is the only Sephora location in both Denver and Seattle where the staff wasn't rude to me. Everyone I talked to was very sweet and approachable. They were slammed and all the associates were cool as a cucumber. I'm sad that they were out of everything I came for, but multiple employees helped me find suitable dupes. 5 stars because it was an overall good experience, and being out of popular products is nobody's fault. I keep to myself most of the time and give a small smile to whoever I come across too. While my time in this store not one employ came to ask me anything. But for the other women who you never guess were white got ask multiple times. Which was very irritating to me for many reasons. Went to pick up my already purchased item at 8:15 Pm after I got off work, drove 20 mins out of my way because it says they closed at 9. When I showed up at the door it was locked it was 8:15 pm so I walk away and tried to call and see other customers walk out so I go to try to get in just to pick up my item and some lady just keeps saying "we're closed". when I tried to explain (through the locked door this whole time) that it said on the Sephora app that I could pick it up before 9 and it's already paid for, all she would say is we're closed like how rude are you terrible customer service honestly could've at least unlocked the door to hear someone out and be a decent human being. Change your online hours it's very misleading and wastes people's time and if you guys closed early just say that don't just be a robot who says "we're closed" repeatedly. read more

I bought my cousin her birthday gift here as well as my all new Too-Faced Teddy Bear Brush Set here and Peachy Eyeshadow Palette from Too-Faced. I loved the high volume of people here and the fast paced music. It just doesn't seem to bother me at all and Sephora does a pretty damn good job pulling that off. Very easy experiences here, they do a good job at keeping their fellow shoppers at ease and no worries whatsoever. I love that the lines go so quickly. They did run out of the Chocolate Palette and that potentially made me want to run to Ulta, simply because I wanted that particular Palette. Just went in over the weekend for the welcome back sale & had a good easy experience. Was promptly greeted at door & explained some stores changes due to Covid. After that was helped by Lori & she helped me pick out the perfect foundation without even trying it on me! The woman I spoke with was very unapologetic about the fact that they were out of half of the products I went in for, wasn't helpful in finding alternative options, nor did she help me track down items I couldn't find. To the 6+ employees at Sephora that just watched me wander around the store for 20 minutes without approaching me at all, two words: missed opportunity. I'm a VIB Rouge member who admittedly spends way too much in your store, and am actually interested in changing my routine. But I refuse to ask for your assistance after I stop at multiple displays, try comparing colors on my own arm, and loop back to the same place. It is actually your job to watch for things like that, but maybe you're too busy checking your cuticles or fussing with your eyelashes to notice. I have recently seen service at all Sephoras declining but this took it to a new level of disappointment. Keep in mind that Nordstrom is right down the mall and offers many of the same products. I LOVE Sephora, and god knows I spend a lot of money at their Flatirons store and online, but I hate, hate, HATE coming to this location even though it's a 5 minute drive from my condo. Why? Come here if you know exactly what you want. And be prepared to get stalked the entire time you're in the story. I've resorted to wearing headphones--even if I'm not listening to music--just so I can shop in peace. But that's not the reason for one star. No, I came here for a VIB makeup tutorial before my engagement photos. I asked for a natural, radiant look with a well-defined eye and foundation that would make me look dewy yet flawless. You guys, I looked like a hooker. It was awkward enough walking out of the store and getting weird looks. What's worse, I walked into my house and fiance cracked up--he goes "I hope you didn't pay for that babe, you look like a drag queen". The foundation that the artist "carefully" selected for my skintone was straight up GLITTERING....and had a fabulous, orange mask effect. Not even remotely close to the skin on my neck. The next day, I wound up going to the Chanel counter at Neiman downstairs and tearfully explaining my experience. I walked away looking like keira knightley and spent LESS (I know, it's because she didn't push stuff on me and told me to just use colors from home) than I did at Sephora. I'm VIB so I'm obviously a HUGE sephora addict but that experience really turned me off the in-store artists at the Creek. Sigh. read more

Being a cosmetologist, I enjoy using and trying out the newest and best products on the market. Sephora definitely does a great job of updating the newest and latest trends in makeup. They also still have all of the classic beauty products that will never go out of style. I went in knowing exactly what I wanted, the Urban Decay Naked eyeshadow pallet. I knew exactly where it was and was excited to being purchasing my first one. I was met by a woman who was over by the pallets and she asked me if I had any questions or needed to know where something was located. I told her that I was going to be buying my first Naked pallet and she told me instantly which two pallets (there are three total) would look the best for my skin tone. I'm glad she did, because the last pallet (I believe it was Naked 3) she expressed wouldn't show up on my skin tone. Thank you! Welcome to the city, Sephora! After months of the tease scaffolding promising a Sephora in Cherry Creek, it's opened. And I'm not the only one who noticed. The store with everything was absolutely packed today; I waited about seven minutes in line to checkout! Worth it. They carry what seems to be the entire Bliss line, Fresh, Clinique, Philosophy and some other high-end dermatology things. The staff wasn't as annoying as I was expecting at its grand opening, which is good if you are just browsing everything they have. It is really hard to walk out of there without spending at least $30 on mini mascaras or hand lotions or whatever. So tempting. The store isn't different from any other I've perused, but it's finally in Cherry Creek. Finally. read more

To be honest, I will probably be back at this Sephora at some point as it is the only one in my local area. However, the store has a lot to improve on. I was there while it was pretty quiet and despite there being plenty of employees working, they seemed to be too busy chatting with each other to help me. The only friendly person was the man working in fragrance. After I finally flagged someone down, the store didn't have the product I went there to buy - a Bobbi Brown pressed powder. Selection is lacking. I would definitely recommend going to the cosmetic counters at Neiman Marcus in the Cherry Hill Mall instead of Sephora. Sephora at Cherry Creek Mall turned down a bride on her wedding day with an appointment that was scheduled incorrectly. I called and made an appointment one month prior for my bridal makeup. The woman on the phone confirmed and I asked if I needed anything else, of which she responded everything was set and good. I showed up and they couldn't find me on their schedule. The day of my wedding, 4 hours before my ceremony. All they could say was,"I'm sorry but you're going to have to find somewhere else." On. My. Wedding. Day. I was turned away, in TEARS with absolutely no support from this store. I will NEVER buy another product from Sephora again nor support this business. This was extremely disappointing, unprofessional, and completely inappropriate. I hope that no other bride is faced with the same situation in the future. read more

The staff at this location, as compared to the other locations that I've been to, are horribly annoying. And I know that they are just doing their job as their corporate conduct code probably states, but man, can I get some alone time to sample some make-up? Please? Employees come up to you every 20 seconds asking if you need help with something. They come around so often that I have been asked BY THE SAME EMPLOYEE if I am finding everything okay because they can't remember who they've already talked to. I've worked in retail/ customer service, so I can't fault them too much. One of my go to spots in the mall when I need to try out some make-up. One thing I don't understand is people actually sampling the make-up on their face i.e. putting on eyeliner or lipstick directly to their face. There is no amount of alcohol that can erase pink eye. Try it out on your hand if you must, and then wash it off. I beg of you. read more

My Sephora deflowering has occurred. Finally got to check out Sephora at Cherry Creek today. I really enjoyed it. I went there looking for nail polish and found out that my favorite brand, OPI , makes the store brand, Sephora by OPI polish. Love OPI and the colors are fabulous. I have a bit of fetish for nail polish, so it was perfect. They also carry Carol's Daughter's hair products, which are pretty fantastic. I had a great time browsing. When I'm ready to dip a toe into the beauty and makeup products, I'll be sure to go back to Sephora. read more

Generally, I LOVE Sephora but this location is terrible. The floor plan is different from most other locations so I'm always confused where things are. There are rarely enough cashiers so I always have a long wait in line. Went in for a sale with my VIB card and was told I'm not a VIB so she couldn't give me that discount. Manager was cold, seemed annoyed, and was short with me. Saying that I should be paying closer attention to the app and then she walked away. Customer service goes a long way and unfortunately they don't seem to have it. read more

Kathryn H's second paragraph elegantly sums up my experience and contributed to me walking out empty-handed; I was asked if I needed help every two steps I took, every time I turned a corner, every time I reached for an item... wow! Guys, I'm okay. Really. I can browse without having my hand held. I can unscrew a cap of eye shadow without assistance. I've managed to do this at home for a number of years, so I'm pretty sure I can do it in-store, but that didn't stop every sales assistant within the store's perimeter from asking repeatedly. I can smile and say, "I'm okay, thanks!" only so many times. The only good outcome from this visit was that a lipstick I previously fell in love with and was debating buying ($19 for lipstick? I'd rather have 6.5 cappuccinos) ended up looking hideous when I put it on today. Saved! Whether the annoying staff played a role in this, who knows, but my wallet heaved a sigh of relief. read more

I really, really wish I could remember the girl's name that helped me because she was just the sweetest thing. I was purchasing some last minute makeup before my wedding and I needed a few opinions as well as a few things I knew I needed immediately. She even swatched my foundation to make sure I was buying the right shade, which was sweet. I used to work for a cosmetics line, so I know how frustrating it is when people can't remember their shade. Luckily I knew between two! I bought the matching concealer on impulse because she told me they actually do complement each other well. When I couldn't decide on a lip shade she brought me a couple choices and we tried them all and mixed them. I bought one, although I think I'm returning it unopened because I didn't actually use it for the wedding. (In all likelihood, I will exchange it for an eyeshadow or something I will actually use). She formally introduced me to DiorShow which (thank God) comes in a waterproof formula. I am now (regretfully) in love with this mascara. Even the girl working the register was sweet and I couldn't have asked for nicer service. I really, truly have nothing to complain about. And hey, free samples! Who doesn't like to take a present home with them? read more

Didn't like this Sephora. I can't walk in here without being stared at and followed around the store. The girls seem put off and confused when I say to them I need no help but being a professional cosmetologist, I truly dont need their education, and if I see something I can't find then I'll ask for some help, otherwise let me be alone and get into zen makeup zone how I intend! It's just too overbearing. Considering I used to work for Sephora once upon a time, I was pretty let down. The team I worked with (park meadows) was kind and considerate of their customers, not judgemental! They might experience a lot of stealing at this location but don't treat every young woman walking in that doesn't have any makeup on like they don't belong in your store! read more

This is the most amazing experience I've ever had in any retail store I have ever been to. I wanted to go to a makeup store all day to get a little bit of makeup to get started in the world of cosmetics; but I was nervous because I had I had no idea what I was doing and the last time I had gone into a cosmetic store I felt completely silly and uneducated. I walked in with no makeup on, shoulders slumped and completely terrified. The moment I walked in the door I was approached by an associate that asked if I needed any help. I nervously told her that I had NO idea what I was doing and she completely lit up with excitement! She introduced herself, Jazmin, and we started running around the store trying on great products! Jazmin made me feel like I was a personal friend and showed me amazing products that I have loved using, even things that she wore personally! Ever since I bought the products that Jazmin recommended to me, my husband has not stopped telling me how amazing I look. He loves the colors that she chose, which is such a relief because I've never been able to chose good colors for myself. More than that, she didn't make me feel pressured or silly even once, and she even taught me how to put the products on! When Jazmin brought me to the cash register, my cashier was so sweet and made me feel just as welcome. She complimented me on the makeup that Jazmin had put on and chose for me! I really wish I had caught her name because she signed me up for the rewards program and solidified my great experience. :) Thank you to this location for having wonderful employees that made me feel welcome and beautiful.
