I decided to try microdermabrasion before trying anything too invasive (Chemical Peels etc. I am only 25 so I didn't want to mess with my skin). I am new in the Columbus area and after a friend suggested Gahanna Skin Care, I decided to give it a try. I booked at appointment on a Wednesday evening at 6:30 pm. I couldn't find the place and ended up there at 6:40 pm. I called them to let them know that I was running late. When I got there, I was greeted by a lovely lady and an older gentleman. They were super nice. Don't expect one of those fancy spas! This place is small but the owners are very particular about cleanliness and hygiene. Also, the prices are very reasonable. My esthetician, Cheri greeted me and I apologized for the delay. She was super cool about it. :-) She cleansed my face and applied some liquid to wipe it clean (I guess a toner). She explained to me the entire process and asked me if I had any questions. I told her about my concerns - blackheads on my nose and chin and large pores on my cheeks. She offered to extract my blackheads and assured me that i will see fewer pores after the process. She also gave me some witch hazel before I could go to the store and buy some! She finished the session by applying some witch hazel and then some spf. Next day, my friends said my skin was clearer and looked more vibrant! I have always been very particular about using a sunscreen. I have been trying to take extra care since the first treatment (Cleansing/Toning/Moisturizing etc). It's been two weeks since my first session and I am going today for my second session. I am going to go for 6 sessions placed 2 weeks apart. Cheri suggested that I should do this every year. I am extremely happy with the results and with Cheri. She is extremely professional and excellent at what she does. The best part about her is she genuinely cares about her clients and she is super nice to them! If you are thinking of getting a microderm, I would suggest you try Cheri! :-)

They even offer an extended product line for men, that I wasn't aware they had. So, if men are looking for a wider range of professional hair products, manicure equipment and the like than they would find in a typical department store, they can be found here. All of their products are professional grade and the staff are super friendly, answer all your questions and are very helpful. My wife had been looking for a good, quality, professional set of hair curlers and with the help of the staff, found them. It was nice to know that if they didn't prove to be helpful, she could bring them back for an exchange or full refund. While we were there, a husband and wife, two of my ESL students, came into the store. They spoke Portuguese and very little English. They and the staff helping them were initially frustrated trying to communicate what she wanted for herself. My friends were trying to let the staff understand what they needed by repeatedly typing into their smartphone for an English translation. But, when using a device for translation, you really need to have a pretty good idea of what you are wanting to say. She wanted something for her thinning hair to prevent it from breaking and falling out. That message is hard to translate. As hard as the staff was trying to get the idea, it just wasn't happening. I was glad to be in the store and notice the problem. With the little bit of Portuguese that I know, I was able to ease the frustration and help the staff understand what they wanted to buy. Although, with as much patience and effort (gestures, broken English, etc.,) they would have been able to understand what was needed. I applaud the helpfulness, and willingness of Sally's Beauty Supply to patiently go the extra mile to assist their customers.

The staff was kind, Dr. Herron is wonderful! I was recommended by my aunt whose a retired school nurse. A 7 mm diameter cyst and a wart on my heel were taken care of in just under 20 minutes. These reviews seem to criticize other doctors who may have previously worked here, but if you get Dr. Herron you're in good hands. The biggest snag I had was their version of mychart not working with my username but on the second visit they fixed that and I even got a call from the doctor saying the rash I originally went in for (which has since died off) was either a head rash or contact dermatitis.

When I came into the practice, I had to provide them with all of my information yet again (insurance card, etc) because it was not in their system. What's the point in submitting a copy on line and then doing it again? The other issue that I have is that they handed me a clipboard asking for medical history. I would have done it accept, I was asked the same medical questions that were on the form by the nurse when she came in, the doctor when he came in, and then by the front desk via the packet. Lmao, if yal are going to ask the same medical questions that are on the sheet why have me come in a few mins early to complete the sheet??? Save a tree please!!! Other than that, no complaints. I will see how the solution he's providing me works out!

I am a thin 5'9" woman with a normal sized head. I read Rose Beauty's return policy stating that they do not accept returns on wigs. I took the wig back the next day and told the lady at the cash register I understood their return policy of no returns, but the wig was made for a child misrepresented as an adult wig & I will take products in lieu of a cash refund. She called said no, then called someone who said no. It is not right they can sell a product under false circumstances and I cannot get a satisfactory result. They will never get a cent from me and I will spread the word about how I was treated.
