Pardon my language but I love this shit. The employees very obviously have been trained to talk to the customers, and I assume guide them around the store to explain how products work and what's new and so on and so forth. It's a friendly invitation to new visitors and regulars alike, but isn't unique to this store. However Lush in particular has presented me with this vibe of genuine happiness and enjoyment from the people that work there. While other stores will invite you to ask questions about their product, Lush is admittedly a lot more niche than other stores and a lot of customers would understandably be confused or overwhelmed very easily by their strange products. That being said, I've always felt comfortable asking my "dumb questions" here. In fact, I've never encountered a worker here that hasn't seemed seriously passionate about the products they sell here. A very large amount of them speak from personal experience as well, having used said product for themselves. More importantly though, while workers here are experienced, they are also very kind. I can't wrap my head around how Lush succeeds at creating such a safe and happy place for people to spread kindness and joy. I'm sure that employees here are trained to be "nice", but I've never seen them not go an extra level just because. The employees will talk to you. They'll hear you say "I like this scent, or I've been thinking of trying this product." And they'll create a sample for you right there and put it in with your purchase. Sometimes they'll give you damaged goods that they can't sell for the same reasons. They'll recommend other similar fragrances they think you'd like, or what's popular in the media, or even what they like and prefer personally. I've met many workers from both the Polaris Lush and the Easton Lush and they are all like this. It's a level of kindness that would genuinely baffle me if it turned out to not be real, at least to some level. I don't know how they do it. The Lush community though, is something magical. Lush has the wrong hours posted. When you look online it says they open at 9:00 am but it isn't actually until 10:00 am. I tried walking in at 9:00 am and was greeted with locked doors. The employees inside did not move to help me or speak with me. When I tried waving them down for assistance, they rolled their eyes and then turned their back on me. read more

I stopped in this location of LUSH for the first time before heading to a meeting I had in the area. I knew exactly what I was looking for and it was really easy to find... bath bombs, duh! I mean, it's only their most popular, most famous product. And honestly, they are really fun and creative. The staff was insanely friendly. Giving me compliments, flashing smiles, etc. from the moment I walked in the door. I felt like a celebrity of some sort... all for simply walking in their store and taking a peek around. The place was clean, organized, smelled amazing but not too potent, and I was in and out of the check out line in a jiffy. My favorite bath bomb is their "Deep Sleep" bomb, which is lavender and even has lavender and chamomile flowers in it. It comes wrapped in a cloth that keeps all the flowers contained so they aren't floating around your tub. Pro tip - Take the little baggy of flowers and rub it all over for super soft skin once you get out. read more

My favorite store ever. I had the privilege of working here for over a year until COVID hit, and they had to downsize. I can truly say that all of us were so dedicated to finding the perfect products to fit everyone's needs. We all had a blast when working there, and loved showing how products work for our guests. COVID is a little different there. They require all guests to wash their hands upon entry, and testers are not available. You can request a sample to take home of any product, though! If you are looking for premium and natural body care then you have come to the right place (assuming you're at Lush!). This is a huge store especially when compared with other Lush stores that tend to be more on the small side. It's located right by one of the Easton exits leading into one of the outer shopping areas. The store is, as mentioned above, spacious and roomy. It's well organized and is always extemely clean. There are several sinks inside to try the wondeful products. The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable about their products. Lush products are just amazing. The packaging is simple, but if you return five empty packages you'll get a free face mask. Ocean Salt is probably my favorite product. It's a great exfoliater made with vodka infused sea salt. It works fantastically well. Their bath bombs are also fantastic. Dropping one into a hot bath and watching it bubble and foam and turn the bath water an amazing array of colors is so cool. They have great gift boxes as well that are chock full of popular products and ready to give. Whoever gets one of these will be eternally grateful. OMG!! I love to go into this store. I always want to be the first person to open the door so I can get a WAFF of the aromas square in my face. I love to get it like a slap in the face!!! Lush is one of my favorite places to go for bath and body products. The Lush team helped me select a shampoo bar and soap and gave me some samples, including one of Dream Cream, which I highly recommend. Keep in mind that supplies are limited due to COVID. Lush takes COVID precautions very seriously and the team immediately directed me to the hand sanitizer when I arrived. The directness was understandable, but the brusque treatment make me feel more like an inconvenience than a guest at the store. Finally Lush opens a full sized store at Easton! And this is a huge store as Lush stores go. The interior is roomy and spacious with tons of products and several sinks for trying things out. Lush products are top notch, handmade, and all natural. They strongly emphasize natural and environmentally friendly products and packaging. They are not cheap, so know this in advance. You can't go wrong with whatever you pick here from the natural fresh face masks sold from a refrigerated case to the sea sugar exfoliating scrub, to their innumerable amazing soaps and bath bombs. The staff are exceptionally friendly and very knowledge about their products. One of our favorites: the key lime lip balm. Amazing! Also, any one of their bath bombs. Drop it in the bathtub and watch it fizz and foam and fill your bath with amazing scent and color and soothing moisturizing oils. If you're looking for a gift try their beautifully packaged gift boxes full of their best items and available in a variety of price points depending on your budget. If you are willing to invest in taking care of your skin then you should stop by here. All the products are great for dry skin or any problem skin. I recently just bought the Love Lettuce face mask and it works great with my skin. Of course the ladies will try to up sell and get you to buy more stuff like the cleansers and such but if you only need a specific thing then just go for that, or you will end up buying the whole store and that's not cheap! If you are vegan you will love the products as well because they are like 98% vegan, I think. So you know the products are great and come from a reputable place. Why not try them? OK, I have to admit, I'm not usually that much into designer soaps or cosmetics, but after my wife took me into LUSH while walking around Easton, I was impressed! The place smells absolutely amazing, and the staff were not only quite friendly, but happy to allow you to sample the different soaps, creams, washes, scrubs, and even lip balms. They even provided me some small samples to take home to help me to decide what to get later! I feel like I'm the last person to know about this awesome place! I recently tried out lush and absolutely love it. Yeah it's a bit pricey but why would I treat myself to cheap stuff? I used a bath bomb shortly after visiting the store and it was really relaxing and smelled amazing. Plus, when I woke up the next mooring my skin felt like velvet. No lie. My boyfriend even noticed. I also tried the blueberry face mask. Ok here's the deal yeah $7 may seem pricey but I'm going to get at least four uses from it and it's so fresh it needs to be kept in the fridge. You can see pieces of blueberry skin in it that's how fresh it is. And the effect? Noticeably softened up my skin. Amazing. I have been using and loving Lush for years, before it became popular. I love what they do and how they do it - vegan, vegetarian, cruelty free and environmentally friends products. Of course they're product are expensive, and not all of them are for everyone. That's being said I have been to Lush stores all over the nation and my reviews on the various Lush stores are based on layout/size, product availability, employee friendly/helpfulness and overall experience. When I heard they were opening a larger Lush I was so beyond excited. The old one was tiny and I didn't enjoy going there because of how small and limited it was. The new Lush is huge, it's probably tied with International Market Place in Hawaii if not the largest I have been to. They had everything you could possible want, except for plain colored Fun bars. I don't know why they don't carry them in ANY of the stores but they should. Anyway, I feel like whoever made the decision to shutdown the Lush store from Thanksgiving until five days before Christmas is an idiot. Harsh words, but it's what I found myself thinking as I tried to shop for friends, family and get my free fresh face mask for return 5 empty containers. Then when they finally did open and I went in none of the employees seemed to communicate or know what to do about the fresh face mask. I got sent all over the very large new store was handed off to three different people and I was just about to give up. Nobody was very friendly or helpful during the drawn out process. Overall this Lush gets 3 stars just for being a Lush store and pretty much failed in every other area. I will being going back considering it's my closest Lush, I just wont look forward to it like I did at previous locations. read more

This is a great Lush location with very friendly staff and lots of products to try. I've been here twice and each time I am greeted almost immediately by the staff and they are very helpful with making recommendations and answering any questions. It is a huge store considering how tiny most Lush locations usually are, which is really nice. I have been using one of their spray toners as part of my skincare routine for about 3 weeks and have really loved it. Their mission is great, and it is nice to be able to use natural products. My only complaint, and this is for every Lush, is that many of the products are too expensive to use regularly - they make for nice treats every once in awhile, but I wouldn't be able to afford to use them frequently. read more

When I was there, the selection of bath bombs wasn't great. So I went back to ordering online. My boyfriend recently wanted to surprise me so he went to this Lush and picked out a few of my favorites (turns out, he was listening when I discussed them...who knew?!) He told me this Lush store was Bath Bomb heaven. He was RIGHT! Went in today to check out the newly released bombs. They have a GIANT selection of them here. There are tons of new ones and they still have my favorite classics (Intergalactic and AvoBath). I easily picked out several that look and smell AWESOME. I can't wait to try "Groovy Kind of Love" I was offered help a few times while I was there but no one was pushy. I loved it there. I consider myself a low-maintenance gal, so I tend shy away from pricey beauty products. Plus, let's face it: most beauty product claims are bullcrap. But if you're going to be as minimalist as possible, make sure the products you're using A) really work and B) are top-notch. Lush is now my go-to place for beauty goos. The only reason I spent any time in Lush is because my friend loves their Charity Pot lotion, and 100% of the product's proceeds go to grassroots charities -- I love that idea. I stayed because I have mild rosacea, and have only started becoming self-conscious about it. Jaunté (sp?), with all of the prowess of a master alchemist, picked out five products and gave me a free, in-store facial: 1. Eau Roma toner water 2. 9 to 5 (which is super cool for lazy people, because it's a cleanser you apply w/o water) 3. Full of Grace serum 4. Mask of Magnanimity (I'm nor surprised if black magic were involved in the making of this thing) 5. Cold towels soaked in more Eau Roma water 6. Celestial moisturizer And hot damned if my February-in-Ohio, splotchy skin weren't transmogrified into porcelain pretty. More importantly, it's still lovely, four hours later. Jaunté sent me home with samples of the thingsI did not buy. Were they a little pushy in there? Yes, but also genuinely nice. You can tell it's the kind of place everyone loves working for. The only other downside is that the location is small, so there are typically more salespeople than customers that can even fit in the store. Super bonus: I gave up all non-fair-trade cocoa products as a New Year's resolution after learning that most production is sourced via child slave labor. Lush recently went 100% fair-trade with all their cocoa-containing products. I spent $100 on skincare products today. My purchases aren't going to change the world, but they're not going to hurt it, and that (plus beautiful skin) is worth a lot to me. read more

The prices are higher than the drugstore because every product is handmade from high quality ingredients. Each product has a sticker on it with a pic of the person who made your product and a visible expiration date because of the fresh ingredients used to make the products. The employees are HELPFUL because they are trying to educate people about their products. They don't work on commission so saying they are pushy isn't really a true statement. If you want cheap, factory produced products full of chemicals and to shop without a soul speaking to you, head to cvs Instead of a specialty boutique. Lush is dope. Being a man and really diving into the products and culture that Lush promotes is amazing. I have a regime I use and my skin and hair are now very healthy. The location at Easton is very convenient and this Lush being the size it is makes each visit relaxed and inviting as soon as you get to the front door. If I am ever unsure about a product or need advice there is always someone there to assist. My favorite person here is Mikayla (I am sure I spelled that wrong and I apologize.) She has always steered me in the right direction and makes sure that when I leave I have everything I came for, plus any additions I may not have known about. I will be back. read more

I went to the lush cosmetics in Phoenix, Arizona prior to moving to Columbus Ohio. Based on my previous review of the establishment, I was not happy at all with the establishment. After the move I contacted customer care service and they told me to simply go to a store in Columbus and exchange the products I did not like for something else. The closest store to me was in the Easton shopping area. When I walked in the staff was super polite to me and did not make me feel embarrassed that I was exchanging many products that were recommended to me from the previous lush store. They also were very honest about what ingredients were in the product unlike the last store I was at (they lied to me about sulfate/parabens being in the hair care and various skin care) and The employees were VERY knowledgeable of every product that was in the store and if they didn't know what an ingredient was they would look it up. I went from loathing to loving this company after the visit. I learned that they had self preserving products that had no parabens or sulfates and great fresh masks and shower smoothies. I am in love with LUSH shampoo bars. I started using the Jumping Juniper bar in January and my hair has become so much softer, shinier, and always smells amazing. I also use the Veganese conditioner. It's a little pricy, but the bars last me about 3+ months and the conditioner even longer. It is definitely worth the price for how amazing my hair looks and feels. A note about the staff and location: so helpful! They are not stingy with the samples, and show you how all the items work in store with demonstrations. I always get great individual attention too. I was specifically looking for the new foot care products, and Cynthia was immediately there to the rescue. She showed me a variety of products and let me sample them. She has the hands of a Reiki hand healer. She helped me pick the best products for my needs. They helped suit up a lovely gift bag of heavenly products. I am soooo picky about what I put on my skin and hair. I usually make everything myself. I have been in LUSH twice now but still haven't made a purchase. I can't review their products---only the shopping experience. The first time I went in was just after they opened. I had heard a lot about the company from a friend and wanted to check it out for myself. The smell was so strong my husband had to leave. I think it was because the store is teeny tiny and it was winter and they couldn't open the door. The second time I visited was a couple days ago. I still smelled like the store an hour later after I got home. This was after being in and out of other stores and a 15 minute walk outdoors in really windy weather to my car. The smell isn't bad, just SUPER perfumey and overwhelming. If you are sensitive to fragrance be forewarned. I can't believe the other reviewers haven't mentioned it. The most remarkable thing about it is I am anosmic. I have almost no sense of smell! If I can smell it and think it's overwhelming and still smell it on my clothes and hair later, how is it tolerable to normal people?! Smell aside, I am impressed with how knowledgeable their salespeople seem. They are incredibly solicitous and friendly and helpful. I wouldn't call them "pushy" but I know what the other reviewer meant. Both times I just wanted to check things out and browse a bit. That is impossible to do there. Read it again, IMPOSSIBLE. The catch with products like these is that you need to EDUCATE people on how they are different and why they are better than what you get elsewhere. You can't just let people browse around and expect them to know that stuff. Someone like me, who has done a lot of research on natural products and made some of my own, doesn't wanna hear the whole spiel...from every sales person...at every section of the store. Sometimes you just want to be anonymous and look but you can't do that there. I gave LUSH 4 out of 5 stars because of the overpowering smell and the (albeit amazing, friendly and knowledgeable) overly solicitous staff. read more

We had such a fun time at Lush today! It was my first time back in a Lush store in 7 years! The prices are a little higher than I usually like to spend but I wanted to get something cute and safe for my 2 year old to use in her bath! She loves bath bombs and we have bought many less "good for your skin" and less expensive ones but figured it was time to splurge and support a company that supports peace! The associates that helped us were all great and we left feeling so happy to have stopped by! They offered us samples and demos but we didn't need any we knew what we wanted and had seen many videos online!
