    I've been here a couple of times over past few years, and I have to say it used to be much better in the past. I liked this store for the variety of brands and product lines they carry, but after the most recent experience I wouldn't want to return. The customer service barely exists here anymore, not all but some of their beauty advisors aren't willing to help and so impatient with questions. The store manager gave me a hard time at check out, probably the worst Sephora experience. Long story for short, lack of service and unprofessional attitude.

    Came in here looking for a few options to back up my purchase a few weeks ago of the latest Channel Blue for men. I wanted to look for a viable second and third option since I definitely don't rock the Chanel every single place I go. LOL So I headed to the men's section of colognes, and while I didn't settle on any particular brands, there were a nice selection to choose from. What would have been nice is if they had a few more people out on the floor as their were hoards and hordes of customers waiting on service. This says nothing of the immense line that people who were ready to buy something had to wait in. In fact, I got borderline claustrophobic. The few interactions I did have were pleasant, but it just came off as though the workers there were overwhelmed. They probably need to look into hiring a few more people as we head deep into retail season.

    Allie helped me out so much last Wednesday! I was looking for something very specific and hard to find cbd lux body oil/serum that we are actually on our 3rd bottle of :) I saw that this location carries it and called the store for when they opened on Wednesday and they only had one bottle in stock for me and put it on hold for me to come in and pick up. They didn't have to do this for me but they made a one time exception because I needed it asap and this was the only place in the tristate area with it in stock so I feel very very fortunate to have got my hands on it! Thank you again for all your help Allie!

    My little cousin is in town, so I got guilted into taking her to Sephora... and by guilted I mean she asked me to take her and I said yes ahahahaha I'm the easiest get with her. Upon entry, I was hit with what I thought was chemical warfare. Thousands of scents amalgamated together to form one of the strongest smells that have ever hit my nostrils. I squinted and almost fell to my knees, but I couldn't show weakness with my little cousin present. We wandered about the maze that is Sephora, and I had NO idea how deep this make up thing ran. I mean I knew, but I really didn't KNOW as I don't have a sister. I am a pretty curious person, so ended up asking my cousins thousands of questions to the point where I don't even remember anything due to pure information overload. My brain just switched off and blacked out essentially. The brain is a funny thing, a real interesting organ. As we were checking out, my jaw hit the floor when I saw a $200+ price point for like 7 little items. They are hittin LICKS in here ahhahaa. IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov__

    I had a wonderful experience at this Sephora location. I've never really worn makeup but on special occasions I do like to put a little on. I went looking for an everyday lipstick and was totally overwhelmed. I swatched a million on my hand but wasn't really sure what I was looking for or looking at. Also as my hair continues to grey my eyebrows do too. I asked a wonderful sales person for a little help. Not only did they point in the right direction they also showed me how to apply as well as the benefits of the particular eyebrow pencil. They also helped me find the right color. Ricki (Ricky) not sure of the spelling but I can't thank you enough for helping me and making me feel welcome. I will be back because of you. Thank you

    Straight up got ignored when I tried to ask an employee a question. How are all the employees ugly and rude? Like damn pick a struggle.

Their customer service dept said to go to the CDM Plaza store to return it. Unbeknownst to me, there is a store in Corona del Mar. Anyway, I went in and returned the item and ended up buying lots of other items with the help of the store manager, Yolanda Lopez. She was fantastic at suggesting things I would appreciate and giving me her honest opinion. I couldn't be happier with her service and want to give her the recognition she deserves for such outstanding service. I have been shopping at Bloomingdales etc for all my makeup needs. Not any longer! I suggest you try buying from Bluemercury.

At first, I questioned whether I was overthinking it. But yesterday really left me uncomfortable. I noticed that while walking by, the two women working there avoided eye contact and put their heads down. A short while later, I watched them warmly engage with another customer in a way that I personally had never experienced there--not once have I been offered a sample or approached about their products. After witnessing that difference in treatment, I asked for a business card, and Jenni responded with a tone that felt dismissive, asking, "What for?" Then her coworker followed with, "You look familiar." And truthfully, the experience left me feeling like Black women are not viewed there as the standard of beauty worth engaging with or welcoming in the same way. Whether intentional or not, that was the impression I walked away with--and it didn't feel good. Maybe others will have a different experience, but mine left me feeling unseen and unwelcome, and that's something businesses should really think about.

We had a particularly unique and difficult situation when our 35-year-old son with special needs had a traumatic fall and broke his nose in two places in October 2024. His nose was visibly smashed and his breathing was badly impacted. He ultimately needed a rhinoplasty and septoplasty. After an initial consultation with another ENT left him frightened and unwilling to consider surgery, we spent nearly a year searching for a surgeon with both exceptional skill and genuine compassion. Dr. Leslie Irvine lived up to our expectations in every way! Dr. Irvine put our son so much at ease that he requested the surgery himself. He went into the hospital in an amazingly optimistic frame of mind, even during pre-op. His recovery was easier than expected, though understandably uncomfortable until the stents were removed a week later. His surgery was in October 2025, but I waited four months to write this review so we could see the results after most of the swelling resolved. We are amazed with the results! His nose looks fantastic, his breathing is greatly improved and this procedure has helped him regain his confidence. We were so impressed with Dr. Irvine's skill that six weeks ago I underwent an in-office procedure with her called VivAer to improve my own breathing. It took only about 20 minutes, strengthened my nasal walls, reduced my turbinates, and required no downtime at all. My breathing is dramatically better, I'm sleeping more soundly and exercising feels easier. We feel extremely fortunate to have found Dr. Irvine and could not recommend her more highly. If you're on the fence about fixing your nose... just call Dr. Irvine.

I was referred to her by the Doctor from the Hoag ER who checked me out. She was very nice, understanding and very helpful in everything she checked my eye and nose out. On my 2nd visit she referred me to an Eye Specialist and then she took care of my fractured nose by realigning it back to as close as she could. She was awesome talked me through everything she is very knowledgeable and has a calm soothing voice. Thank you to Dr Leslie Irvine for taking care of me.
