How they treat their non Hispanic / Latin customers needs major improvement. I wasn't greeted which wasn't really a big deal ,they just opened the store and they were obviously getting ready for the holiday shoppers later in the day. I wanted help in fragrance , the person who I didn't know was the fragrance employee was doing her lashes ? Not sure what was going on ,there was a whole lot of fanning . Again paid it no mind, until I was exploring the fragrance selection and I wanted to express some interest. She was helping other customers, I was there first but I didn't press her because I wasn't in a rush. By the time she was finished with her other customers , she completely ignored me until I explicitly asked for help. She then just points me to a fragrance says it's new and offers little to no other suggestions. I could clearly tell the difference between how she went in depth for her other clients verses me. Won't be back at this location . The one in town in country is so much better . Such a shame I did have a previously good experience here but no longer my go to Sephora. Upon researching you can get better prices elsewhere , also free shipping and samples / goodies directly from the company themselves. read more

I'm giving all 4 stars to Wendy who was so kind, knowledgeable, and super helpful. I had been in the store for about 10 to 15 minutes walking down the aisles looking for some shimmery eyeshadow and couldn't find what I was looking for and was passed by 3 different sales ladies and I had to literally move out of their way but not one of them said a word. Then out of nowhere comes Wendy and asks if I need any help. Not only did she find what I was looking for she helped me find more cosmetics. I will be back thanks to Wendy! read more

After reading the reviews and being warned by my mom and sister about the terrible customer service in this particular location, I went in very apprehensively. I was pleasantly surprised! Everyone was super helpful, friendly and smiley. The store was clean and well stocked. There were so many people inside that I thought it would be a nightmare, but I found everything I needed and then some. I ended up spending almost $200 (Merry Christmas to me! ) The employees were not pushy or overly involved, but ready to help if I needed something or had a question. The checkout moved a bit slow, but that's because there was only one person at the registered, but again he was very personable, with a good attitude and exchanging pleasantries even though it was one of those situations he could have been giving off annoyed vibes. I don't know why my experience was so different than everyone else's... maybe they've read the reviews and are making an effort now ‍ I would definitely come here again and make this my go-to store. PS- I love their mini section!! I travel a lot and make the most of traveling size everything. Mascara, eye shadow, hair products... this place is a goldmine. read more

Please do not ever get your makeup done at this location - this location was a last resort as the Dadeland location cancelled on me. I was severely disappointed in the makeup artist - she did not listen to what I wanted, even after showing her photos of what I wanted to recreate. I'm not expecting an exact copy of the makeup, just as close as possible given the skills of a professional artist. She gave me the exact opposite, even with my guidance, and kept insisting that what she would do on me would be much better than what I wanted and kept pushing back on my personal preferences. read more

Terrible Sephora. All the women that work here (excluding the vendors they are very polite) look at you dirty and have no manners. came here and politely asked 3 of them for help and they all would say give me a second and then I'd catch them gossiping or laughing among themselves. I spent +$300 and should've spent it somewhere else. They handed me my bag in such a "get your shit and leave" way. I think these women are forgetting they are getting paid todo a job lol they are Super rude. Despite the shitty customer service we were very polite to them till the very end and even said thank you, not even a your welcome. Customer service. As the other reviews, manager doesn't know how to expedite a long line of customers. Clueless. People were leaving due to the long line meanwhile other employees were talking to each other and ignoring customers (including the manager). Also, the Manager goes out of her way to stop a helpful employee making a sample of a product they don't have in stock. Disappointing experience. Beautiful store, great selection of products friendly staff but they do not honor their word. They had a sign by Benefits 50% sale for brow day and I asked a salesperson whether all the products there were on sale specifically the one I had in hand. She double checked and confirmed with another salesperson that they were. I took up my valuable lunch time happily selecting the products, waited in a line of several people only to have the 3 products NOT ring up on sale. The cashier brought over the manager who stated that they were not part of the sale. I explained that two of her salespeople had specifically told me they 50% off but she still refused to honor the sale price. Not returning to that store. read more

My wedding is coming up next month, and I have my Bestfriend doing my makeup the day of. I wanted to splurge on a good nice foundation for my special day. So I came in for some samples on top foundation I've researched online that are long lasting for a day of activities such as a wedding . I left pretty content until I got home and saw what the samples look liked... I've previously gotten sample at other locations and other stores. Especially when I know it's going to be a expensive product . There was less than a drop of foundation on the sample bottle ... realistically when testing a foundation you will need more than 1 later in order to see the buildable coverage and so on. I really hope whoever the manager is of this specific location is shown the several reviews made on here with the same complaints and really takes it to heart. I was so happy when a Sephora opened so close to where I live but the other day was my final straw and I'll go out of my way to only order online from now on or go to Dadeland. I've worked retail for many years before and I know how much it's drilled into store advisors to make sure EVERY customer has been asked if they need help and to let them know they're available to help, but this store is so extreme and has the worst overkill with this. Prepare to be stressed tf out if you want to take your time in here, it'll be ruined. It's beyond customer service, it literally feels passive aggressive and uncomfortable. You get stalked and hounded and followed by every single employee and it makes you feel like they're suspecting you of stealing. I can't swatch anything in peace or read a label without someone breathing down my neck. The worst part is I feel guilty because since I'm in such a rush to gtfo and stop being hounded in there, I end up buying stuff I didn't get to properly swatch or try on and it's led me to make so many returns that I'm now worried I look like a suspicious or bad customer. It's product going to waste! I feel so bad about that. The worst part is sure, I understand if it's a misunderstanding and other employees didn't know you've been helped already. Nope, the same employee will badger you within less than five minutes. Multiple times. Guaranteed. Why?? Is this specific store a hot spot for shoplifting or something? Had the worst experience here! The workers followed me and my sister around the entire store and it seemed like they were "guarding" the aisles. They kept staring at us and following us like if we were going to steal something. We would walk to the end of the store and someone would follow us there too. I wanted to leave you all feedback bc I still see no change after talking to the manager directly a couple of times. Every time I visit your store I have to get on a phone call with the phone to my ear because I literally get asked on average like 15 times if I need help. I don't even have enough time to read the ingredients of a product bc I get interrupted every 20 seconds. Each time I politely say that I don't need help but that I will reach out to someone when I need it. And then the rest of the time I have someone keeping an eye on me the entire time as if going to steal something. I earn enough money to buy my whole years supply of stuff in one shot if I wanted to - it's unnerving that shopping for makeup at Sephora used to be like a meditation for women and now it makes me feel anxious. I now have a game with my significant other where we bet on how many times I'm going to get asked if I need help. Last time I said over 15 - and I won! Customers appreciate the help but it's a bit overkill. Your associates should have a little bit of tact in recognizing if someone needs help or not and maybe keep an eye open to see if their peer has already asked them a couple times. Every single time I go here the customer service is absolutely awful. The staff follows you around wherever you go, they ask you about every 2 minutes if you need help. It's such overkill and really makes me feel like a suspect and not a customer. I only order online to pick up in that store and leave browsing items and taking my time for the Falls or Dadeland. Today I went to pick up an online order and I was standing in line while the lady ahead of me was being helped. The whole time the cashier was helping her she was talking on her walkie. When the lady left the cashier was looking past me and wagged her hand to me but honestly I didn't know she was talking to me since she was talking on the walkie and not looking at me. When I didn't walk up she looked at me and aggressively wagged her hand for me to come forward. Mind you, it was only me and another person in line.. it's not like it was slammed. I tell her that I was picking up and she went to the back to get my purchase. She asked me for my barcode and while I was looking for it on my phone she said "I said I need your barcode" with such a rude attitude like I was taking too long.
