While I was greeted verbally, the staff felt unengaged and assistance was lacking despite more staff than customers. When I asked about the opening scratch-offs, I was told they were only available the next day. I asked a manager if an exception could be made since we were spending over $400. We were informed the scratch offs were allocated by day and we'd need to return tomorrow to get one. We returned the next day, and the experience was completely different. Raye was warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful--offering product insight, lipstick swatches, and consistent assistance. She truly saved the experience and is the reason I'm willing to give this location another chance. I usually shop the Deerfield location, which consistently has excellent service. I'm hopeful the first visit was due to opening fatigue and not a reflection of the store's overall culture.

Never coming back to that location. Sephora should seriously reconsider their policies regarding treating customers. I was greeted by the owner, he explained to me about the perfumes they carry and how he and his brother started their interest. After smelling a few, I made my decision of Bodacious by Boadicea the Victorious and Impadia by BDK. I was thrilled and happily went home. Fast forward to March 7,2026 my second visit. I live 1hour 45 minutes away, so I leave early to avoid any traffic. I got there as soon as they opened, and again get a warm welcoming greeting. I brought my daughter with me and we tried several perfumes until I decided on Mind Games Check Please. As we were chatting, I was asked if I was enjoying the other two fragrances I had purchased and remembered which ones I had purchased! Needless to say that impressed me even more. Myself being in Customer Service for over 30 years you don't always remember each customer that you encounter.
