That is until I walked into Connolly Family Dentistry. I was extremely nervous as I came in for my deep cleaning. I remember saying a little prayer and asking for grace and my prayer was answered. Grace was the hygienist that worked on me and I couldn't have had a better experience. She is thoughtful, professional and Thorough. Best of all, it was a painless experience. Let me say that again. It was a painless experience. One of the best things about this practice is they treat people like old friends. You never feel neglected. The staff actually listens to you. Sit in the waiting room and watch. Every patient that walks in is greeted in a way not seen in most offices. You're greeted with a smile and a conversation. Something lost in some businesses. Look, I could sing the praises of Connolly Family Dentistry all day but, you won't really get it until you walk through the door. And, if your appointment is for 2pm, and you arrive early, you can crash their staff meeting like I did. If you do you'll understand why they're so great to their patients. Dr. Pastiu is very calm and gentle, when he explains something he does so with care and concern. The office itself is clean and modern. It is sometimes freezing in there, so take that into consideration. I find the price to be very reasonable for a cleaning, and they don't try to force any extra services onto me. I don't have insurance so it's important to me to be able to pay cash at a reasonable price.

During the initial visit he did everything himself-including X-rays and cleaning. He was incredibly kind, checking in every 30 seconds or so-or if he saw a flinch to say "You ok?" Throughout the entire process. Meanwhile, his assistants are in the room, understanding how uncomfortable I was saying things like "Good job." "Almost done" I'll be seeing him several more times and I know that each time I go, I'll be in good hands in a very non judgemental and compassionate environment. From the moment I walked in the door everyone was extremely welcoming. My initial visit was just to see if Dr Cregar could extract the tooth given its location & complexity. He is a personable guy that you can easily relate to. After the exam, he made some adjustments on the tooth to make it more comfortable until extraction. They were able to get me in quickly and of course I was a bit uneasy. Dr Cregars assistant was very calming and struck up a pleasant conversation. Dr. Bickel went above and beyond in making us feel comfortable, explaining everything, answering our questions, and just being a truly personable and approachable practitioner.
