So surprised to see any bad reviews. After using the Port Townsend Cleaners that was the only option after the one next to Don's Pharmacy closed (it was excellent) I took a beautiful Pendleton wool blanket to be dry cleaned before storing it for summer to the PT cleaners near the Goodwill store. When I got it back it was covered with either cat or rat hair that was imbedded in the wool. This blanket had NEVER been exposed to a cat or dog--or rat. I took it back. They supposedly recleaned it but it still looked exactly the same. No apology and no refund of $50. I took it to a cleaners in Poulsbo next. Same story. Finally I took it to Good Impressions and within the week the blanket was as clean as when we bought it a year before. No special charge at all. Since then it is the only dry cleaners we use. Always excellent! Always friendly and on time. read more

My husband and I just moved to Sequim and decided to go here for his dry cleaning based off of the reviews. I am so thankful that we did. We went on Saturday to pick up our dry cleaning, my husband had a week long trip he was leaving for on Sunday morning. Good Impressions is closed Saturday and Sunday. I called and emailed asking if we could some how come pick up his shirts. They called me back and came in on their day off to help us out and we were able to grab his dry cleaning! So thankful for this customer service! This will for sure be our go to dry cleaners for our new home area! Thank you so much Good Impressions! Also the shirts look very well cleaned and pressed! If you do not need your items when promised or don't care about paying for a service you don't receive or don't mind being told to go to the other dry cleaner down the street when you express dissatisfaction with the service when your order is not done when promised, FOR THE SECOND TIME, then use them. If any of those things are important to you find another cleaner. We are new to Port Townsend and thought we would try this cleaners as a few of the reviews were positive, better than the cleaner in PT, and we all know you can't make everyone happy. Here is how they operate so you can decide if this business is for you. You drop off your clothes, say on a Tuesday. They tell you they will be ready in one week, the next Tuesday after 3:00 pm. They do not clean your order until the date it is due. They have your clothes untouched for a week. This would work if no issues come up during the cleaning. We have use them twice as we are fair people and give second chances when something goes wrong. The first time we called about 1:00 on the due date just to see if the order was done. The girl explained their process and that 1 of the 5 items was going to be run through again, a floor length skirt with a spot at the bottom, and it would be ready after 3:00 pm. We arrived at 5pm. The skirt was not ready. We were leaving the next day for a week, not a big deal as I didn't need the skirt, but they had it for a week before touching it and finding the spot. So, a second trip to Sequim, no apology for our trouble, ok, the skirt was basically clean, not completely, but it's a light color that had drug on the ground. I can look passed that. The second time we dropped off 3 small items. The due date given was 1 week later, after 3:00. I called at 12:00 is be sure the order would be done that day. She said yes, after 2:00 pm. Great, I arrived at 2:55 pm. The man behind the counter was on the phone, so I waited as it became clear it was a personal conversation. While talking on the phone he took my ticket, went in the back and brought out my order. He was still on the phone. I gave him my card for payment. He ended the phone conversation and started ringing me up. As he did I checked my order. There were only 2 items, not 3. I questioned that. He said oh yeah, went to the very back and brought out the missing item with yellow tape on and said he was going to run it through again as there was a spot, which there is, and it wouldn't be ready today. Deja VU! The item is needed for an event in 2 days and we were not going to be back in Sequim. He said I could bring it back to be redone, but for us that's another trip to Sequim, ok our choice for choosing a cleaner in Sequim. I was frustrated and told him this same thing happened last time and I wasn't happy as they had the item for A WEEK. He smiled and said "there is another dry cleaner down the street". Well, OK. He has the right to run his business as he likes and I have the right to not go there. I did however pay for a cleaning that was not completed. Fine, all in all we spent about $80.00 at this business and will never go there again. I guess business is good enough that they don't need new customers. We will try the Port Townsend cleaners next. I'm new to Sequim so haven't used a dry cleaner before now. Good Impressions will be the place I go for future dry cleaning. My daughter was visiting from NYC and needed her jacket cleaned before leaving. I stopped by on Tuesday and was told the jacket would be ready Saturday but we needed it on Thursday afternoon. When I explained the situation, the lady said no problem. The jacket was ready on Thursday and they got all the stains out and the jacket looked new again. They did a great job!!! read more

I was using the competitor in town for several batches of dry cleaning but really thought my clothes came back smelling like moth balls each time. Then I remembered Good Impressions and realized it was a more convenient location and have been going there ever since. There is never a detectable odor when I pick up my clothes, either on the clothes or in the shop itself from chemicals or otherwise. The people are always very friendly and professional and I get a discount when I use my green app. The hours are convenient and my clothes have always been ready on time. read more

This is a good place to take your laundry and dry cleaning. They are efficient, honest, and have not damaged anything we take to them. Recommend them much more than Sequim Dry Cleaning....I am glad we switched to Good Impressions! read more

I'm not sure if there are other options in Sequim for alterations, if this is your only hope plan ahead. It took 7 days to have 1 pair of pants hemmed even though they promised it would be done sooner. I had to make 2 extra trips to their store before I finally got my pants back. read more
