After trying for two days and staying up all one night to recover documents and pictures I absolutely needed for a meeting with my attorney the following afternoon, I called Paul at PM Computer in Woonsocket first thing that morning. Without fan fair and while keeping me calm throughout, Paul was able to recover the vital documents I needed for that afternoon meeting. He continued to work on my computer while I was away at the meeting and then got "back in" my computer the following day to get rid of any trash and/or malware, viruses, etc. as well as tweak all else to perfection! We talked about replacing with a solid-state drive but I think we came to the conclusion that it was slow because of competing virus software. So he was very good and spent a lot of time with me giving me the options. And we chose the cheaper safer route first and then will discuss options if the problem persists. Although they didn't resolve my Windows reboot loop issues, they were able to remove the hard drive and save most of my data despite the many hard drive errors. I had also checked with Best Buy and found Avanti to be less expensive and much friendlier than the box store. I'm very pleased with my experience with Avanti and highly recommend them to anyone needing a computer repair or IT technical assistance. They're really great!!

Best Buy "Geek Squad" told me I needed to have them come on site to see if it can be repaired, before I could get a return order to Epson. No exchange with BB, no warranties, even though I spent $140 at check out for what I thought was exactly that. I had to wait 2 weeks for the BB rep to come (I live in the mountains). In the meanwhile, I searched high and low for an Epson phone number - most of them don't work - to ask how the warranty worked. I got so lucky when by chance, I called CTS Services!! The lady there told me I had an extended replacement warranty direct from Epson, and what number to call. I cancelled Geek Squad, and am now calling Epson. Shop Locally whenever possible, my friends. CTS seems like a straight-up business.

I called because they're a licensed servicer of LG products and I wanted to ask a specific question about an LG monitor I have (27GN950-B) that is suffering from a known defect to see whether or not a panel replacement would be better in the long run than buying a new one and the agent was nothing but standoffish, rude and made no effort to listen to my question or understand what I was politely asking. Instead she was talking over me and not addressing my actual question to the point where I had to just say FU and hang up the phone which I have never done in my life. These people need to learn some customer service skills and if they don't like their job, find something else to do

He even gave me a deal on security software, as well since I wanted to buy the full version. He also gave me options for free downloads for a variety of software, as well. This was a great purchase and great experience working with them. When you purchase through them, it also included a 120 day warranty from SNECS, too. They even offered to do a remote installation and a great file to backup (which is an offsite backup software) $39/year is so much cheaper than buying an external harddrive, too or going through any other option out there especially since it's unlimited files/space. I was very surprised to see the negative review especially since I feel like not only did I get a great deal, but I received great customer service and advice.
