I tried a lot of things myself as I'm pretty knowledgeable in this area. I called Kerry, the PC Mechanic, and arranged to drop off the PC the same morning. He fixed enough to get it do boot off a CD, backed up all the files to an external USB drive, completely installed and configured WIndows 10, added all the updates, and setup the computer with an automated backup system. This was all done in by the next morning. He constantly kept me updated as to where he was in the process and what he was doing. I highly recommend him.
