I'm so thankful that they opened up a Northwestern Medicine in the South Loop! Now I don't have to…read moretravel north anymore to see a doctor! I called on a Thursday afternoon to book an appointment the following Friday. I had no problem getting an appointment! When I arrived for my appointment, it was very pleasing to see such a large and clean waiting room. I was the only one in the waiting room and there were three people waiting to assist me. I arrived 15 minutes early thinking I'd have to fill out some paperwork (despite being a patient already in the Northwestern Memorial hospital network) but there was nothing for me to fill out! It was great! I had barely even taken off my jacket to sit down before they called me in for my appointment. Eventually they will have more doctors and specialists working at this location. I can't wait for that time to come so I can make this my one-stop shop for all my check ups! FYI--if you drive, they will validate so you get first 90 minutes free. This location is very easy to get to from the CTA Roosevelt train and bus stops.

They only X-rayed my elbow said it was fractured and sent me home in a sling and no medication for pain. The next day they called and told me I couldn't see a surgeon until Friday. 4 DAYS LATER! I called Rush Midwest Orthopedics and they saw me the next day. Then I had surgery and they did a great job. Now during PT we discovered that I had a 2ND FRACTURE in the same bone at my wrist. A family member was referred here and given the gigantic brush-off by the staff when they decided…read morethey didn't fit into their cookie-cutter medicine. The residents (one was an orthopedist) were non-responsive and the second one even told my family member that he found nothing but if they said they were experiencing an obviously-manifested symptom that was okay with him. The attending physician was a hard-nosed, unprofessional nightmare to work with who became offended when a referral to Mayo Clinic was requested. My family member was told that they were simply exhibiting greater symptoms of something already diagnosed and brushed off. No patient education was offered in any way, shape, or form. Amazingly when the same individual was seen by the rheumatology team at Cleveland Clinic, they found the symptoms to be significant and this person finally received a diagnosis and an action plan for dealing with the illness. Shame on University Rheumatologists!

I was driven there by my social worker, who has taken two people to Northwestern Urgent Care, and she is now switching to Northwestern because of the efficiency and care that she has witnessed. Thank you all who work there. We have world class care in Chicago, you just have to know where to go, and this makes all the difference in the world. I have a long term illness requiring care from various departments at Northwestern, and always have good experiences. This was Great for an Urgent care. You can call and see how full they are. I went here tonight to get treatment for a dog bite as it was one of only a few urgent cares in…read moreChicago open on Saturday evening. It's right in the Roosevelt Collection which has a huge parking lot, and thankfully they validate your parking. It was super quiet and basically empty when I arrived, save for the woman working doing intake. She was very kind and professional and the intake was fast and easy. After I filled out the forms I had a seat and not even two minutes later a nurse took me back to a room to take my vitals. She rinsed out the wound and then left and a minute later the doctor came in. She explained it was good that I came in even though the wound was small because without antibiotics it was likely to get infected. She prescribed me a course of preventative antibiotics and let me know to come back if it got worse. I'm sure I was lucky to get there when it was quiet and not at all busy, but overall my experience was ideal and exactly what I had hoped for. I'll definitely be going back to this location if I need to go to urgent care again in the future.

He's very conservative when it comes to scheduling procedures, which is not always what we've experienced with other doctors. We've been seeing him for 6 years and even though we moved to North Dakota almost 2 years ago... we still continue to make trips back to Chicago when needed for him. His whole staff is friendly and polite from start to finish.

As soon as he entered the room, I was immediately put at ease by his professional but very friendly demeanor. He spoke in terms that I understood, he explained everything he was going to do before he did it and I felt comfortable throughout the duration of our short visit. He had me do a few range of motion movements and we talked for a short while about my symptoms. We talked about how my symptoms and bloodwork and other tests did not indicate any serious problems. When I left, I was glad to know that I do not, in fact, have any sort of arthritic conditions to worry about. If I did, I'd be glad to know that I'd been in his knowledgeable care.
