Outdoor seating today though was a definite plus, granted you're on a secondary road behind the main drag on Copacabana beach. We had picanha ao braseiro which is a kidney shaped steak with some fat - no complaints. It was a perfect medium with salt crystals that occasionally explodes in your mouth for that extra flavor. For 162 Brazilian Real(currency) for two people, it's a good deal. It came with diced tomatoe and onions a perfect offset. Happy I came here. Apologies for the pics - wasn't expecting to review the place.

They didn't really speak English but it wasn't difficult to order. We got the steak and chicken. They came with some kind of vinegar infused veggies, rice, powdered stuff, and fries. Highly recommend this place!

About 250 feet from the front door of the hotel (go right then right again) is the restaurant. Clean, lots of windows to the street, friendly and attentive service. We ordered the feijoada and two Chopps pilsners. The meal included a green salad that was a cross between romaine and seaweed. Yum. Also rice, corn meal, and fried pork belly. Oh, and a shot of alcohol that was quite similar to the kind of margarita you'd get from someone who adores tequila. Delicious!! With tax and tip, the meal was 108 reals, or about $27...for two. It's an AYCE buffet with churrascaria and the set price is R$268 (~$50 USD) plus 13% service charge. It includes the salad bar with vegetables, salads, soup, seafood, sushi, and churrascaria (meat, seafood, sides). The best options for the churrascaria were the ribeye steak, salmon with passion fruit sauce, and the lamb. I did appreciate that if you request a churrascaria item, they do bring it to you. You can also request sauces as well, the chimichurri sauce was good. I think the buffet was good value since you get a large selection of food and the quality was pretty good.

If you like a little spice with some of your food, be sure to discard the tobasco sauce and ask for the molho pimenta especial. Be sparing with how much you use, it can get pretty ridiculous. Its not that big of a space, but the open air concept, makes the space feel larger. We've gone in groups of 6-8 and people have enjoyed their beer, caipirinhas, and juices. For food we tend to split a Churrasco Misto: which comes on a hot plate cuts of beef, chicken and sausages. Rice and traditional farofa comes along with this dish. the only thing missing from it are Fries, but we always put in a separate order. Besides the Churrasco Misto, there are other versions of the Hot plate dishes: Only picanha, a Chorizo plate, and a seafood plate (which offers shrimp, octopus and squid and mussels). They also have other individual dishes and traditional brazilian bar food. For dessert we have had their Doce de Leite Pasteis which are great to share. Their Petit Gateau was ok, simple, nothing amazing. But if you are interested for something sweet to end the day they work too.
