Following is a long overdue testimonial to Jen Dominguez, known as Jenny at Serendipity Wellness, whom you recommended to me a few years ago when I first called you looking for a massage therapist. My body has begun feeling the effects of aging, but the aches and pains disappear naturally after my massage sessions with Jen. She is persistent when it comes to relieving my pain and stress, whether it's my stubborn knee issue, lower back, neck, or simply overall stress and discomfort. I have had two facials here before, and I decided to get a massage here for the first time on March 22, 2014. I am new to the area and had two excellent therapists that I loved where I previously lived. So, they had big shoes to fill. You also have to understand, I have been getting massages for 15 years several times a year. I am an athlete, and I am extremely picky. I was in town visiting my daughter and was in desperate need of a massage. We checked online to find a place and found Serendipity had lots of great reviews. I gave them a call and was able to get a same day appointment. I saw Raja. She was very welcoming and asked a lot of questions about what I needed. She did a great job of helping to relieve the neck and shoulder tension I was experiencing. The studio itself was cozy and inviting. I arrived a little early, as was requested of me. I've been going to Serendipity for several years now. I always choose the Custom Therapeutic Massage. All of the massage therapists I've had have been excellent. Today, I had the pleasure of having Connie as my massage therapist. She took the time to find out if I had any issues, and what type of massage pressure I preferred. I felt completely relaxed after my 60-minute session. I hope to be able to go back more often. I didn't realize it has been exactly one year since my last visit. My first appointment at this place came at the recommendation of a coworker who said she was very happy with her service and now I know why. Not only did I receive and outstanding 60 minute custom massage from Connie, the entire experience from check in to check out was great. They have COVID safety protocols in place (i.e. call in when you get there and they will return your call when they are ready for you; everything is sanitized in between services) and their receptionist was very professional. Raja gets all the knots out, she has magic touch to find them and make them go away. I always feel so much better when I leave. If I were really rich she'd be on my personal wellness staff and I'd have a massage every day. Jennifer F. is good too. She has a way of finding tightness you didn't know you had. My wife and I received a 1 hour couple massage for the second time at Serendipity last weekend. For the second time, we were delighted with the results. We had different therapists this time, and their techniques were different, but just as effective in creating a fantastic atmosphere and setting us up for a fantastic weekend. We had Linda and Larry this time around, who each performed a combination of a Swedish and Sports massage. We each felt about an inch taller and had tons of energy that lasted throughout the day. I have become a regular at Serendipity Wellness in Burke for 60 minute custom massages. This studio is calming and welcoming and the online scheduling is easy. Maritta is my go-to massage therapist. She is wonderful and has loosened my shoulders up so that I no longer have any stiffness or loss of range of motion. In addition, I've tried the isometric body balancing and have to say that it re-engaged muscles that I hadn't realized weren't working very hard any more (hello, again, glutes!). I'd recommend it at least once a year to put everything back into alignment. read more

I workout a lot and was starting to get injured because my muscles and tendons were getting so so tight and full of knots. I couldn't even sit comfortably driving or sit in a chair because the knots in my hamstrings would really hurt. So I went to Serendipity to try to get the knots out. My second time to Serendipity and it was again, FANTASTIC! I try to book a massage after a long day cleaning garden beds. My shoulders ache, my hamstrings are tight from squatting, my hands hurt. Erin makes it all feel so much better! Erin is a wonderful masseuse - strong, firm, knowledgeable and caring. I really enjoyed the massage. I would recommend the 1.5 or 2 hour session. I had my first massage with Raja recently and I can say without any hesitation that it is the best massageI have ever had! The following day, I woke up free of the knots and stiffness that I have been experiencing for a while now. I told him my problem areas and that I have had very high stress and he took extra time to focus on those areas and really applied extra firm pressure in my tight spots. I got the Ultimate Works Organic facial and it was an hour and a half of bliss. so relaxing! the environment of the studios was inviting and clean, and Ravi (esthetician) was responsive and professional. Great place to relax. I've had a great experience with nearly every therapist I have seen at Serendipity and highly recommend Aleida, Jenny, and Jordan. I still recommend ashiatsu if you like deep tissue, but Jordan's firm custom massage is as good! If you enjoy regular massages, I can't say enough about the monthly pass.
