Hands down the best gel manicure and (normal polish) pedicure I have EVER received! Bruce is amazing and I highly recommend any nail services with him. I have an extremely active lifestyle and physically demanding job. So gel manicures last about a week before I start getting a peel of a lift or chips. I have been twice and it's just ok. Bordering on meh I've had better... The first time the guy only massaged the front of my leg and foot and it was totally weird and didn't feel good. They do automatically give you a sugar scrub and hot stones for your pedicure. The prices are very good which is probably what's appealing about this place. The second time the girl was digging so much into my skin she made me bleed. Of course I didn't want to put my foot back into the water. The girl worked around my new injury and was very sorry so I was pleased she recognized she messed up. However, after that I couldn't relax the whole time. The technician that did my nails rushed through taking off my gel polish and scraped away making my nails feel rough and brittle. I was not pleased. So.... I'm not raving... but it's a decent place for a cheap service. I guess you get what you pay for. read more

I had been to nail gallery on multiple occasions and the first few times were great....then increasingly worse. Each time I held out hope for the great service I received during my first few visits and each time I was disappointed In fact it was so bad I actually got up mid pedicure and left. I shouldn't have to tell the technician more than twice that they haven't gotten all the dry skin, the 'massage' was weak and ineffectual. It was rushed and I felt completely undervalued. The final straw came when I had to ask for lotion - who needs to be asked for lotion during a pedi? I have a two based on the earlier experiences and the overall cleanliness of the salon but I will not be back. read more

I went there to get my toenails painted. I had SNS on my fingers and after that my toes looked "naked"! I generally don't like my feet "messed with" too much because I'm ticklish. I explained what I needed, just my toes, no massage, etc. And I was told it was called an "Express Pedicure". I agreed to get my toenails painted. I should have asked first what the price would be, because I didn't see a price list posted anywhere, but I've had pedicures before so I thought, "How much could it be?" I should have asked! $53 for a few minutes to get my toenails painted? ( Not SNS, just gel) Way too much for the short service I received. It had been a while since anyone had reviewed this nail salon but thought with the two most recent being so great, I would give it a try. I wasn't surprised by the hot stone massage as it was in one of the previous reviews. I can say for $35 it isn't something that you would expect and that portion was wonderful. The technician was wonderful and very meticulous about my French tip pedicure. I have absolutely no complaints with the service or how my pedicure looks. I can say that as a nurse I am very meticulous about cleanliness. The store appeared very clean, however; all of the tools used came from a pencil case and was not from a sealed bag as a previous reviewer stated. This was really one of the main reasons that I decided to try this nail salon. Although they were all clean, I was also disappointed that to remove dead skin a household hand-held cheese grater was used as well as a pumice stone that came from the same pencil case. I will likely bring my own set of instruments if I ever decide to use this nail salon again as the service was wonderful. read more

Went to get a full set of acrylics with my friend and both of our nails we dried for a good 15-20 minutes and we were super careful afterwards and even still about an hour after we left they still got messed up. Very disappointed with the pedicure I received at the Nail Gallery. I absolutely would not recommend this establishment. I am new to the area and was trying to find a new place to get my nails done. It was clear the woman who did my nails had little or no training. The owner even had to come over to teach her how to properly apply the nail polish. The owner failed to remove her gloves which she had been wearing while removing caluses from the woman sitting next to me. Despite all of this, I was not going to make a fuss since the ladies working at the salon were very nice. As I was paying, I noticed there were only four certificates (each with pictures included) framed on the wall even though there were five people working in the salon. While pointing to the framed certificates, I politely incinuated to the lady running my credit card that the woman who had done my pedicure was not actually certified. She awkwardly shrugged her shoulders, smiled, and said you'll have to talk to the owner about that. The owner quickly dropped her mask and rudely snapped "is there a problem with that?" Well yes I thought... I just paid the most I have ever paid for a pedicure which was far from mediocre. I was very disappointed with how the owner took to my concerns. I had already paid and was merely asking a question which I have every right to do so. It is a requirement to have certified nail technicians and to provide proof of their training. To avoid confrontation with the owner who looked like she was about to exploide, I promptly left. I had such a negative experience at the Nail Gallery that I felt compelled to write a review, something I have never done before. read more

I had some events in the near future that needed more than my amateur polish skills, and I had driven by this place multiple times. I am so glad I gave it a chance! I walked in after work and was able to immediately sit in a pedicure chair and soak, with no wait. Knowing that I'm "not a normal female" in the fact that I never particularly enjoy pedicures, I wasn't expecting anything different from any other place I'd been. But there were a few surprises! Like the review below, the girl took her time and didn't make me feel rushed. I was able to (somewhat) relax through my ticklish-ness with the massaging armchair, and watching the comically unusual large fish in the aquarium right nearby. My feet soaked for awhile, then they used a nice sugar scrub. I would recommend not going the day after shaving your legs as I'm sure this would be irritating, but for me it was a nice exfoliant. Of course they did the foot-scraper thing and the cuticle thing and shaped my toenails, then had a lovely smelling lotion that she massaged into my feet and calves. The BEST part came next; when she returned with the warm towel to drape over my legs after the massage, she brought a hot stone and continued to use it to massage my feet and calves! Having had a full-body hot stone massage before (and LOVING IT), I've been dying to try a "hot stone pedicure" and, although it wasn't advertised as such, I would have to imagine that's what this was. She informed me it was to help circulation, and at that point I was all but purring like a happy kitten. She finished painting with a french-tip and my toes looked lovely. I never felt rushed or anything. I was also informed when checking out that if I were to pay in cash, I would have gotten a 6% discount. Too bad I only had $1 cash on me! Their pedicure was $30 then $5 for the french tips. I asked about their shellac manicures because I plan to go back soon for my fingers -- she mentioned they are $30 with no extra charge for french. The atmosphere was clean, cozy, and did feel like it wasn't just part of a strip-mall. I also liked the two or three little aquariums because it was a different touch and had some great fish. Service okay...I think I got ripped off...I had a gel manicure & pedicure $62...but as I was reading the brochure I realized she left out a treatment with each service..I did like the fact that they knew which polish matched the gel polish, so my hands were the only ones with gel polish...I was not offered any water as I seen other technicians offer their clients...she didn't cut or file nails evenly or smoothly...I would probably go back and see if someone else does a better job.... read more

I've been getting dip/SNS on my nails for a few months now (since August) and these are the WORST nails ever. I was optimistic about my pedicure which was fine. But my dip manicure is just awful. They're bumpy, the tips are different shapes and some aren't even straight (I get square with rounded edges). Some are literally slanted. I tried to correct a few things during the manicure, but you can only catch so much. And I kept hoping they'd smooth out once they used electric filer to smooth them. But nope. They have small mountains on them. This was my only option for nails before the new year but I'll be getting these redone at my usual place in Chicago as soon as possible. This is insane - especially for how much I paid. It's shocking when I place in West Chester Ohio is MORE expensive than everywhere I've gone in the city of Chicago. I'd love to get them redone now, but it's not great for my nails to soak in acetone and get them redone....these aren't worth anywhere near what I paid. read more

It's been 2 weeks and my pedicure is still intact. Good price ($30) and a realllllly long foot and calf massage including hot stones. I fell asleep in my chair and they all thought it was pretty funny. Seemed clean, but not impeccably so. The tools DID NOT come out of vacuum sealed baggies so I'm unsure of how they disinfect them but that doesn't really gross me out like it might some people. I am in Cincinnati temporarily for work. It took me so long just to find a salon that had the color combo I like. When I found this place had them I was so excited! When I walked in I was asked what I want. I told them I wanted a full set and asked if I could look at the colors first. Once they noticed I was looking at the gel polishes, they started LAUGHING at me. One lady actually laughed in my face. I asked why they were laughing and they didnt answer. I was then told t sit to have the tips put on. Well...the lady put tips that were too big on and they kept popping off. Result . . loads of glue. I then sat for 25 min with 2in long tips hanging off my nails before the man took me to his station. This is where the real fun began. I showed him the colors I wanted and he told me no and that some other color would look better. After 10 min of telling him I didnt want it, he said he didnt have the color I wanted . . even though I had it to begin with!!! He rushed through the whole process. He did not sanitize anything! I kept telling him that I wanted my nails almond shaped, yet I ended up with round. When I told him they were crooked and bumpy . . he told me no one would look that close. There was bubbles on my nails from the gel polish, yet when I showed him he said its fine and refused to fix it. The whole experience was an absolute disaster! I paid $55 for the worst set of nails Ive even had in my life and for the absolute worst customer service ever. On top of all of this, I called in the next day to speak with the owner who told me that they WERE NOT going to do a thing about it and to just go to a different salon next time. BEWARE!!!! I stopped by Nail Gallery a few months after it's opening last year because its conveniently located next to the tanning bed I frequently visit. I had an hour to kill so I figured I'd drop in and get a manicure and pedicure; the establishment didn't look particularly busy from the outside so I walked in. I was immediately welcomed and directed to a pedicure chair. My technician was open and talkative and made sure I was comfortable with the water temperature and pressure he was using during the foot massage. My pedicure looked great and was finished in a half hour. My manicure was fine; the technician used a squirt bottle of lotion to draw smiley faces on my hands before massaging...cute. I asked for a French manicure and he went to work with the two bottles of neutral and white polish. He seemed so pleased with the result when he finished that I didn't have the heart to tell him I could have done them better myself...the lines were jagged and each nail had a different amount of white on it. He had, however, shaped well so I slipped off the polish when I got home and walked around with pretty bare nails for a week. I like the coziness of this salon, heavy drapes cover most of the front entrance so the outside world is somewhat blocked out. They seemed to have a pretty full appointment book only a few months after opening and the establishment isn't very big so be sure to call ahead to either make an appointment or assure that they have time to squeeze you in. read more

Zoom nails in West Chester Ohio has been one of the biggest nail/pedi disappointments that I've experienced. I left with rough calluses (I'm a runner), I didn't get a topcoat applied to my nails, not even a thank you for coming. My manicurist literally got up and walked away from me and never came back. Do NOT get your nails done at NAIL GALLERY in West Chester!!! I went there last night to get my nails done as part of my Mother's Day gift from my husband. What was supposed to be a relaxing hour to myself turned into the worse experience I've ever had at a nail salon! The guy that did my nails (also the owner and apparently the only one there that can do acrylics) rushed through, didn't ask me how long I wanted my nails- didn't seem to care what I thought at all! After several times of me telling him throughout the nail process that I wasn't sure they were turning out right, he assured me he was going to fix them as he went. When everything was done being filed, my nails were a mess. I stopped him and explained how horrible my nails looked and why. He told me over and over that they looked nice. They do not! He refused to fix my nails and demanded I pay full price. After a lot of frustration and talking with the West Chester police I had to pay or could have theft charges against me. The police said that this situation has happened multiple times at this location! Which means he knew very well he could do a bad job and I would have to pay regardless if I was happy or not! Excellent service, I was impressed, however I did not like the fact the I was charged an additional 10% of my service for paying by credit/debit card. I had never heard of this so I investigated it and it's actually illegal to pass their merchant fees on to the customer unless it's a Discover card. I don't mean to discredit the salon by any means, their work is good, however this add-on fee is wrong and against the law. Google merchants to charge processing fee in lieu of accepting credit and check forms of payment. read more
