    It seems as if I'm always looking for a new nail shop. Lol! I've seen Unique Nails for some time and and finally decided to try them. I have a nail shop I've been going to for awhile, but I go for 6 months then I leave for 3 and go back. I'd really like to find a consistent nail shop but just haven't, so that's how I ended up trying Unique. Whew! Lol! Unique is very clean and organized and I loved that. It has an open concept. I was greeted by an employee when I walked in. However, she wasn't the friendliest. She just kind of sat there and blank stared. I asked if they accept walk ins and she said yes, go wash your hands. No, hi, hello, can I help you. You're probably wondering why I stayed... well my nails hadn't been done in a month and I really needed to get them done. This was my only open day the week I went. On the flip side, another thing I liked is that they make you wash your hands immediately when you arrive before touching anything or picking a color. Yesss to cleanliness!! Then the owner, Wendy came out. Wendy was very nice and answered the questions I had regarding their services and designs. I told her what I wanted and then picked my colors. The service I got was SNS dip and a pedicure. I also got a design. I liked the way the lady did my toes and Tim did my nails. He was super nice and did what I asked him to do. Wendy then finished my nails with the design. Overall, my experience at Unique was good and I do not have too much to complain about except the lady who greeted me and price. My total bill with tip was $120. In my opinion they are a little more on the expensive side. Usually with a tip my bill is $95-$97. It was about $25 more here. I do think they charge for SNS soak off as I already had SNS on my nails. I'm sure they also charged quite a bit for the design I got. I haven't decided if I will come back or not yet. That's still to be determined. I honestly think I will try other places and then decide, or if I need somewhere quick I may come back. It is very close to where I live so that is convenient.

    Love love love!!! Matt was amazing and had wonderful communication skills. I'm always worried about it being awkward when I go to a salon and the person who I am put with doesn't say anything. He was very talented and taught me everything I needed to know about how to take care of my first set of acrylics. He also gave me advice when I had no idea what color to do. He took time out of our visit together to show me all different colors. I will definitely be going back to him and I am so happy I have found my new nail tech! I recommend him and the shop in general. It is very clean and easy to schedule online. They are so professional and respectful to every customer.

    I started going to this place because I was referred through mutual friends to a very talented nail technician. I highly recommend visiting and asking for Matt or Liam. I've been going since October 2018 and have absolutely noticed an improvement in my nail health and strength. All designs are done on my actual nail without tips, all done gel (shellac) manicure. Have also done SNS with Matt. They're very accommodating for style choices, and have snacks plus soda and water most days.

    Unprofessional and rude. I was told I need to ask for a translator because the nail techs don't speak good English. ‍.

    Wendy is nice, knowledgeable and does a good job. The place is clean. Service is truly surrounded around the customers needs.

    Light, bright, spotless interior! Plenty of chairs, complimentary snacks, staff is gentle and excellent at what they do!

Vicky told the customer in front of me that she was checked in and could go sit in the waiting area. Then Vicky came back to check me in. Well, that's what I anticipated. Until, Vicky began to access my problem areas in front of everyone in the lobby. I told Vicky I did not feel comfortable discussing my physical issues in the front lobby. Vicky proceeded to tell me everyone gets accessed in the front lobby. Her words, "this is how we do this everyday. oh it'a okay, we only ask these questions once in a blue moon." I reiterated my discomfort with the front lobby accessment of my physical issues, but Vicky would not stop. Vicky stated she was only trying to make sure I got my entire 90 minute massage. However, that is a big lie! I got there at least 5 minutes late, then Vicky took another 5-7 minutes to violate my HIPPA rights. My appointment was scheduled at 3:30pm. At 5:00 pm, I was already in my car, leaving Bridgewater Falls. The massage itself felt like Vicky ONLY felt like rubbing cold lotion over my body, and then this lotion never dried. I was so tense during the whole 90 minutes, because I didn't know when she was going to lather me up again. When she worked on my hamstrings and shins, she kept tickling me. I told her but she kept doing it. Then she got an attitude because I was laughing. I couldn't help it though. She wouldn't stop. My skin was still wet in certain places because Vicky didn't rub it in enough. She made me feel like she didn't want to massage me. Then when it was over, Vicky asked if I enjoyed it. I just said yes and gave her a $20 tip and I pray she receives a lot of blessings After paying my tip, I asked Vicky to cancel my membership. Vicky was kind enough to explain the cancelation policy to me. She tried to offer me a free massage but I declined. I said that all I ask is to receive the same amount of respect and patience as she displayed with the customers before me.

Recently I had a negative experience, but the manager at West Chester has truly done everything in her power to fix the stylists mistake. I am so thankful for the amazing customer service I have received since. Long story short, I had a stylist over process my hair to the point at which it was falling out. I was devastated, not only did I have to cut off 5 inches of my hair (Instead of the original plan of 2inches) my hair was fried and breaking close to the root. I immediately requested a refund! So I'm sure your wondering why I've chosen to give this location 4 stars. Well, after my experience, one of the managers called me and not only offered me services to fix the damage at no cost, but also created a care package (at no cost) of the full Oribe haircare line to work on fixing the damage! These products are amazing and very expensive and I was so appreciative that she has taken the time to fix a mistake one of her (former) stylists made. Although I'm devastated that my hair experienced such trauma- I'm also so grateful for the management for working with me constantly to bring my hair back to life.

It's a short cut, nothing difficult for other salons where I used to live. Basically they put the blame on everybody but themselves. I don't think there's any accountability for training and techniques you would think they would have. I am guessing it is poorly managed since accountability is not up on their list. Don't ask for anything to be different next time you go since receiving any feedback is unheard of it seems. I wish them well but remember, at that location....The customer is always wrong.
