It's so surprising that many people don't know about it. Before it was renovated into an art studio, it was a city water treatment plant. Its parking lot used to be a wading pool. There are some cool black and white photos of what it used to look like in front of the restrooms. The space itself is amazing - super spacious and conducive to various forms of art and the required equipment. They have a jewelry making room with individual stations. There is an entire space designated for handweaving with lots of looms and fabric. An entire clay making section also exists with lots of pottery wheels. There is a big open space that's available for events and other workshops with lots of tables and chairs if needed. The magical thing about this place is that you feel creative as soon as you walk in. There's art and pictures displayed throughout the space and as you look at everything, it makes you want to sign up for all the classes they have.
