My daughter and family see Dr. Elevich for their dental care, and could not be happier with him professionally and personally. That extends to his staff, as well. I visit occasionally from Southern California and whenever I have the opportunity to consult with the good doctor, I come away wishing I could move his entire practice to L.A. This is a fantastic dentist office and I am very happy I found it. I see Dr. Blatter as my dentist and he did my recent fillings as well. I did have to come back after having a root canal though and saw Dr. Elevich who did my root canal filling and crown. In my own personal experience they are both amazing as I have had horrible experiences with dentists in the past. This office is amazing though whether it be the doctors or the assistants. The front desk gals are amazing as well and are very nice! As for pricing I honestly couldn't speak on it because I had never had a root canal or crown before and it has been years since I have seen the dentist and had different coverage then so I can't say if they over charge or not. The dental staff was always good, but their billing department leaves a lot to be desired. After every visit (which I paid the patient portion at the time of service) there was always a balance due later. Then after a larger procedure they sent me a bill for almost $600. The insurance company contacted them multiple times to get more information - but they never responded. I'm just going to copy and paste my Google review here: I've been nothing but impressed with these guys. Seriously. I came in with dental concerns and for years now. We've consistently worked to get things right. They have a gum surgeon they work with. They have a way to make a chewing guard in house to both chew less, and do less damage if you do chew. It's awesome how much things have improved in a few years. My compliance with dental good health practices isn't great, so the things we've been able to do have been awesome. Thet are timely, the scheduling is great. Nobody seems to be dying from the workload. The estimated costs are usually right ok the money. Oh. And recently I they covered a tooth chip as a courtesy. All I know is the manager there treats her employers, especially the dental Assistants like crap. She's bullies them she harasses them and she creates a hostile work environment. One assistant who always shows up no matter what and they grill her and they're rude to her so-if you see her berating the staff say something - she needs to be fired and has no business managing people. One dental assistant in particular who is pregnant is fantastic, and she always shows up the good attitude while the other dental assistant always calls in sick. read more

Both ladies at the front desk were amazing as well. They got me in when I needed an appointment, and are amazing at answering insurance questions. Switched dentist due to a change in insurance, very happy with Aspen Springs dental. Staff is very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly.

These dentists give lowball estimates, so watch out.  Earlier this year, I had a crown and was advised that my share of the cost was $175.  A couple months later, I received a surprise bill of $589.90 for the remaining balance.  Then, just two weeks ago, they advised that my share of the cost for another procedure would be $525. When I arrived for the procedure today, they told me that my share of the cost was $1,127, a $602 increase!  There had been no activity on my account during these two weeks to cause the $602 increase.  The only explanation that they would provide was that the $525 was an estimate and that insurance is complicated.  I asked them to admit that they'd made a mistake and they refused.  So if they didn't make a mistake, are these lowball estimates deliberate?  I've been burned twice at these dentists, and certainly won't be burned a third time. read more

I had a cleaning done here that was a deep cleaning and with insurance still came to about $400.00 and my mouth hurt for weeks after. I was also quoted for a reg filling and a replacement filling which I was told I'd need a crown and this was over $1000.00 and something. I went to a different dentist was told I didn't need a crown and got quoted $348 dollars for a filling and a replacement. They definitely over charge here. So beware. Best dentist ever. All 3 of them. (Although I'm partial to Dr. Elevich but all three are really top notch). I get very nauseous when getting cavities filled due to the needles/numbness. I've even thrown up before. They know this and always take extra care to make sure I'm doing okay. One time they even filled the cavity with no numbing since it was surface level (it was only slightly painful but worth it to avoid needles/numbness!). For regular cleanings, they always give you a goodie bag with a toothbrush and some chapstick. Totally worth it! I've been coming to Aspen Springs for close to 10 years and always recommend them to friends. Definitely the "Best Centennial Dentist" (their website is bestcentennialdentist.com lol) I will say that sometimes the appointments seem to take awhile which makes it hard to coming during your lunch hour but they do 7am appointments and appointments as late as 5:30pm (I think?) so it's easy to come before or after work. read more

Recently went here for my first visit. Clean offices and modern equipment; friendly and knowledgeable staff; tech was gentle but thorough and carefully explained all procedures as we went along. No upselling. Really pleased with Dr. Ricks' explanations and approach. I also liked being able to see photos of teeth on TV - very helpful. Try the tangerine flavored toothpaste. It was great. I came here because I was tired of the revolving door of dentists at another practice; to their credit, this doctor and staff didn't badmouth their competition (no pun intended) but focused on the positives they can provide, especially continuity of staff. I was very impressed and am looking forward to my next visit (well, as much as you can look forward to a dentist visit, anyway). read more

As a dental phobic, it's been a long time since I've been back to a dentist after a not so great past experience. I initially saw Dr. Ricks, who was gentle, kind, caring, and explained everything with amazing detail. My appointment for treatment was with Dr. Elevich, and all I can say is WOW. After an extraction, I developed dry sockets, and he was AMAZING with his care and showing me how to care for them - AND - when there were additional complications on his day off HE MET ME AT THE OFFICE to see me!! Just above and beyond care, which gives me an incredible sense of trust and gratitude that there are still those in the profession that truly care! I recently moved to Denver from Fort Collins and was thrilled to find such a great dentist office! From the welcoming reception team, to the hygienist, and the actual dentist, I felt very welcomed and appreciated as a client. Here you will NOT be treated as a number, nor rushed through an appointment. Two things stood out to me as exceptional service: 1) Dr. Elevich came into the reception area and let me know they were running about 5 minutes behind and apologized for the delay 2) The day after having some minor work done, I received a call from Dr. Elevich, just to check in on how I was doing. I've lived all over the country (LA, NYC, AZ, Philly) Never had a dentist as honest and capable as Dr. Blatter. Ive had him replace fillings -regular cleanings etc. He's been fantastic. When he saw I needed a night guard for grinding my teeth, instead of trying to sell me an expensive model, he offered to adjust and drill my OLD one so it would fit. Free of charge! I was so impressed with this dental group. I've lived in several states and been to several different dentists but I've never been in an office where the staff cared so genuinely about the patients. I needed crowns on my front teeth. First of all, I was expecting to have them send away to have the teeth made in a lab like most dentists. Meaning I would have needed to wear ill fitting temporaries for a week or two. However, this particular office is cutting-edge and they were able to make the crowns in the office, which made the whole process so SO much easier. Finally I cannot thank them enough for being so patient and persistent to get the front teeth looking right. I never felt rushed and they bent over backwards to make sure I was happy with the look and comfortable with how the bite felt. I highly recommend Dr Ricks and his whole office. read more

I really liked this place when I first went a year ago. Not sure what has happened, I was on time for my appointment would it be common curtesy for you to be on time as well give or take 5 minutes. And then had to wait around for the doctor after my cleaning got there at 4:10 for my 4:20 appointment didn't go back till 4:35 and did not leave till 5:45 for a routine cleaning. Dr. Blatter is a nice guy and quite intelligent, but unfortunately too busy to see me in an ER situation and refuses to give me anything to help with the pain so I may eat, sleep and try to make it through the day. Not only did I have an appointment already set within 48 hours when I called with this emergency, he refused to prescribe anything to help me until he could see me two days later. If I am unable to sleep or eat and am in tears when I call, you would hope the Doctor would give you something to help until he can see you. I had two crowns put on as well and unfortunately one was not done correctly. Dr. Blatter stated if I ever have issues he would stand by his work. Well, now that I am forced to go to another dentist who will help me and understand that I am in EXCRUCIATING pain and DO something about it, will I loose his word to fix it if I have any issues. Overall, I have been quite understanding through the numerous work recommended and the hesitance to assist with pain meds when in extreme pain. I have spent at least 3k at this office and find I am still having issues and in pain. How can a doctor refuse to help you when you have been their patient for over 2 years? I am shocked and forced to go elsewhere!! It takes a lot for me to review someone negatively, this is a sign I have been pushed too far and feel helpless as he will not assist with the unbearable pain I am experiencing. read more

Initially the office was very accommodating, and friendly. However, they mistakenly told me that my insurance covered x-rays that it did not. As I had X-rays 6 months ago, I did not necessarily need the service. I was charged for a service that I didn't necessarily need, but accepted because I was informed that it was included and covered under my insurance carrier. This was disappointing, and I felt like trust was broken. I was told that I would be contacted on Monday regarding what could be done about the situation, and was not, which was further disappointing and reinforced our decision that we should sever ties. I have been going to this dental office for years, and I am always very happy with their service and kind attention to my needs, and also happy with my smile when I leave. Last year they helped fit me with a Silent Night Snore Guard appliance to help quiet my excessive snoring. I was not excited about going with a CPAP device because I tend to sleep on my side. OK Folks - If you want a great dentist, look no further! Dr Bladder is an amazing dentist, with a very calm and gentle voice/manner that even gets my (then 7 yr old boy), now 12 years, through fillings without any anxiety. He is proficient at his work, and he even make the permanent crowns "while you wait", so the procedure takes about 2 hrs and you walk out with the permanent crown. He has never tried to oversell us on anything! We love Dr Bladder and his team--wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

Our family has gone to Doctor Blatter for years (I think 15 or more?). Definitely recommend. Their office staff is always friendly and helpful. Communication is easy, which to me says a lot in this day and age. They have been really sweet to my 96-year-old mom, too. More recently, family members have also seen Dr. Ricks and Dr. Elevitch, and we are very happy with all of them, as well as the hygienists, who are very personable and do a great job. My daughter fell off her long board and her two front teeth were badly chipped. Our regular dentist was not available and so I called their other office which closed at 2 pm (it was about noon on a Friday when I called) and they scheduled us for 1:30. Dr. Ricks and his assistant worked about 90 minutes past closing, and he did a wonderful job. My daughter was thrilled with how her teeth looked and so am I. Dr. Bladder is the best. I have been seeing him for years and I wouldn't let anyone else touch my mouth. His staff is incredible, each of them are friendly and helpful. I have fallen asleep during cleanings before and my four year old likes going to the dentist because he and is staff make it fun.
