Had my first appointment here this morning (cleaning, TMJ & jaw issues, and Invisalign consult), and I am so glad I went to Meadow Hills! Everyone is knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. Dr. Braasch is wonderful. He makes you feel comfortable and does a great job of explaining everything. It is so nice to have a great dentist (had a bad experience at a Cherry Creek office previously). I especially appreciated that they sell Boka toothpaste. Days ago, when researching the best natural toothpaste, I found Boka and have been using it (and loving it), so I was really impressed to see that instead of peddling conventional toothpaste that contains bad ingredients, they sell stuff that is actually good for you. We found what we were looking for in Meadow Hills Dental. The office was clean and professional, every member of the staff was very nice, and they even have TVs to watch (hanging from the ceiling) while you get your teeth cleaned! I am writing this review with much regret. I've been coming to Meadow Hills for years. Mark did work on my kids as well. My kids were never happy but I always thought he did a good job. So I had them continue to go to him. He's done a couple of crowns for me. Last year I was chewing on something sticky and I heard a small crunch. One of my crowns has come off. I text him and he said to come in. So I did. He didn't tell me he was in Hawaii. His assistant re-cemented my crown. She took like six x-rays. She seemed very panicked. It wasn't matching up well so I made an appointment and went back in when Mark was there. He ground down my crown to get it to soften the bite. He basically made my crown into a block. Unfortunately the crown was still too high. I went to another dentist because I needed some work done and they also tried grinding it down but were afraid they would go through it. I was in pain for about eight months until I reached out to Mark again. I went in and he ground down my lower crown to try and make it fit better. He basically destroyed that crown as well. The re-attachment of the crown was not done properly and their way of fixing it was to re-grind down both my crowns! Now I basically have two bricks in my mouth. I got two opinions from other dentists who said that it was not reinstalled properly. I offered Mark to pay half of the replacement of my top crown to make up for it. He said I was extorting him. Now unfortunately we have to go to court and I'll be looking to get both of my ruined crowns replaced. I'm really sorry it came down to this! read more

I love this dentist office and I have a massive fear of the dentist! They make me feel so comfortable and are very gentle. They are honest and it's obvious they genuinely care for patients that come in. I got a retainer for my TMJ and realized I grind my teeth at night and it has completely changed the way my mouth feels. Highly unprofessional behavior with no concern for the patient! Beware of this clinic! I went here for the first time for a regular cleaning. Was told by Dr. Braasch that some teeth required fillings. That is when my NIGHTMARE began. I've never had dental pain in my life but immediately after the fillings I began having immense pain in one of the filled tooth. I was told that it is general soreness and should subside in a few days. I lived on painkillers for the next one week and still no relief! Went in for a follow up visit and he adjusted the bite. However, the pain kept increasing to the point of becoming unbearable and keeping me up all night. All the doctor did at subsequent visits (which was every alternate day) was adjust the bite which din't seem to help anyway. This went on for 4 WEEKS and he still maintained that the pain should subside soon. He had no other explanation. I knew something wasn't right and went to an endodontist for an opinion. He did a cold test and immediately told me the tooth needed a root canal because of the possibility of the filling being too close to the nerve. Still not sure how this could possibly be happening, I went to another endodontist to get a third opinion. He did the same thing. A cold test followed by a treatment plan for a root canal. This made me wonder why Dr. Braasch did not think of doing a cold test (which I was told is the first basic routine test done on patients with a similar pain complaint) in this long span of 4 weeks! Finally got the treatment done from the endodontist and had to shell out $800 for the root canal & crown on a tooth that had never bothered me before going to Meadows Hill Dental! On top of that, after I told Dr. Braasch about my scheduled root canal with an endodontist he stopped responding to my texts and never bothered to follow up. It has been been over two months since my root canal and I've not heard from him once. Going to this clinic was a BIG mistake and I hope no one ever has to go through the tormenting experience that I did. read more

I am normally not a big fan of going to the dentist. But at this office, I always feel at home! The staff and the environment are great. They even have a room for my kiddos while I get my treatment done and they are constantly making sure I am doing okay. My favorite part though is HGTV! Lol what better way to take my mind off things with some TV in the dental chair. Love it! read more

I'll start by saying I have always had awful dental experiences, which has lead me to anxiety around dental appointments. I was having severe tooth pain last week and I called every dentist in my surrounding area and no one was able to get me until the middle of the following week. Long story short, Dr. Braasch and his staff were so incredibly kind and offered me an appointment first thing the following morning even though Dr. Braasch was not originally supposed to be in that day. They even got me in for a cleaning on top of figuring out what was going on. This is not the first time Dr. Braasch has squeezed me into a day where there otherwise may have not been room. The hygienist, Kassie, was GREAT. so gentle and comforting. To top it all off I received a hand written card thanking me for coming, and a starbucks gift card. Dr. Braasch does a great job of keeping them comfortable. My 3-year-old even let him fill two cavities with no problem- I was amazed! They also have a great treasure chest. On Tuesday, 23 September 2014, I called in at the business. I greeted the receptionists and mentioned that I had two teeth cleaning consultations which I had paid for in January 2014 and not yet used and asked whether they could fit me in any time that week? The receptionist asked for my name and address and said she would check the schedule. When she called up my statement, Dr Braasch, who had been reading my information on the computer, immediately said that he could see that I had paid $199.00 but told me that they were fully booked for the week. I then explained to him that we were relocating out of state sometime towards the middle of October 2014 and that, in order to utilize the credit, I would like to make an appointment before that time. Dr Braasch then asked me to take a seat and he would check the schedule for dates up to 15 October to see what dates were available and then I could call back after checking them against my husband's work schedule. After 5 mins he came back to the front desk and told me that there was absolutely no openings from then until 15 October! I then asked what he suggested I do since I had paid for the cleaning and he said there was nothing I could do, and that I could have had my teeth cleaned long ago (this despite the fact that the Vantage Discount Plan was valid for 12 months)! I also asked whether there was another branch that I could go to and he told me no - I asked whether that meant that I had to lose the $199.00 and he said yes! I was so taken aback and asked him once again whether they could help me and he said no, so I said 'OK' and left! I got the feeling that he had taken over the business from the previous dentist(which he apparently had done) and was not intending to cover any outstanding services under the Vantage Discount Plan which I purchased through the business from the previous owner. Our relocation out of state was not on the cards when I purchased the Vantage Discount Plan in January 2014 - this was only decided shortly before I approached Meadow Hills Dental in September! Meadows Hills Dental is not an accredited business and I have had to forfeit the amount owed to me. read more

Unethical practices. Don't go here. A roadside sign offered a free initial visit. After deciding to shop for a new dentist, I decided that it would be worth taking time from work to shop a new dentist if the office visit was free. All it would cost me would be time, right? WRONG. I called the office to confirm they still offered a free visit. The receptionist transferred me to the dentist, which I thought was great. The dentist advised me that they were a Christian practice, with employees who loved to be there...and that the initial doctor consultation and X-rays would be complimentary, but that I would pay for the first cleaning. Okay, I get that. I made an appointment. I came into the office on the appointed day and did the ordinary paperwork...name, address, emergency contact, dental insurance, etc. I have done this with another dentist that I shopped through a Groupon deal. Okay, so we're ready to go, and I mention to the receptionist that this is my free visit. After a long visit, the office wants to set me up for major tooth scaling (instead of a cleaning) and braces. The NEXT DAY. I told them I couldn't afford all that. I don't manage to have $6-7k in my spare change, you know? They said they offer a care plan. So, I unscheduled their follow-up plans after double checking with my Flex Plan. THEN come to find out that they billed my insurance. Still free to me, they said. Oh yeah... EXCEPT that I pay for my insurance (that you just billed). Oh yeah, except that I needed/wanted to use that insurance-paid visit to shop an additional dentist. SO, if you see this doctor's sign on the edge of Parker Road near Quincy, DO NOT BE FOOLED into thinking a "free initial visit" is ACTUALLY free. The receptionist told me AFTER I GOT BILLED BY INSURANCE that there is a LAW that REQUIRED them to FILE FOR INSURANCE BENEFITS. YEAH. A law...except that when I asked the doctor, he said it isn't a law, it's their policy. So the free initial visit isn't free. That's essentially what he told me. He said that they want to make sure they're covered in case of a malpractice complaint. Which sorta actually makes sense, until you realize that other doctors have honored deals in which they do a first visit free, knowing that a customer for life is WORTH the free advertising. Unless, of course, you are Dr. Braasch and his crew, in which case they only want to convince you that you need high-cost emergency services. AND FREE has TOO MANY unmentioned ASTERICKS. read more

I've had a horrible experience with the unethical practices of Meadow Hills Dental. I am divorced and have 3 children. The courts gave me 100% decision-making over medical. My ex husband went behind my back and changed my children's dental provider to Meadow Hills Dental from the dentist they had since 2005. He set appointments and arranged treatment for my children. When I found out I immediately contacted Meadow Hills Dental to make them aware of the legal aspect of the situation. I emailed them copies of my court documents showing my decision-making authority. I asked them to contact me for my consent for all treatment for my children. They did for my daughter and she received part of the treatment I have given consent for. My ex husband told them not to do a filling that she needs and they did not do it after I had chosen to have it done. My ex husband scheduled appointments for my 2 boys. I was not contacted by Meadow Hills Dental to give consent for the appointments. I was not contacted by my ex husband or Meadow Hills Dental about the outcome of the appointments. Then my ex husband to me to court saying that I refused treatment needed by my youngest son because he had an abscessed tooth that needed to be extracted. How could I refuse treatment when I was never informed of the problem. Meadow Hills Dental had no business sharing information with my ex husband and not with me. I am disgusted with the choice of the office to assist my ex husband in going against our court orders and keeping information from me. read more

I came to Dr. Braasch with severe TMJ that came on suddenly. I couldn't do anything that required me to exert physical energy without my entire jaw feeling like it was on fire. I love working out, but it got to the point that I couldn't even walk briskly without it hurting. My jaw also locked for almost a week. I tried seeing a chiropractor, a physical therapist, and my family doctor, but nothing helped. I had to take pain medication just to get through the day by the time I was recommended to Dr. Braasch. He suggested with full confidence that I get Invisalign. I was extremely skeptical because it was so pricey, and I had never heard of using braces to fix jaw issues, but I was in enough pain that I was willing to try anything. I had the Invisalign for about 7 months. As soon as I finished, I hit the gym, and to my surprise, the pain was gone! Dr. Braasch took me from a state of hopelessness back to my normal self. I am 100% pain-free. I spent so much money trying other options when I wish I would have just gone to him in the first place. I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone experiencing TMJ pain.
