Let me save anyone who needs mental help.... Do not go to Renewing Hope .. The so called Dr.s / NP…read more/ counselors . Are only there to make money from insurance companies. They do not care for their patients. The worse place ever. Please do not see anyone who works for this co. Especially CECEL BHATIYA-NP Stay far away as possible from this guy. He doesn't know what he's doing.... He definitely doesn't need to be treating vulnerable people in need of help.. By the way he will not file any Disability either for his patients if your White. This place is Racist !!!!!! Save yourself the time and heartache. Please go elsewhere you won't regret it. By the way , I saw a Dr. at Renewing Hope back in 2023 when I started to loose my mind. she was ok . Gave meds, treatment, counseling,Disability. It was still a hassle but I managed it through a hard time in my life. I come back 2 1/2 yrs. Later my Dr. doesn't work there any longer. Was giving someone new. Hmmm wonder why she no longer works there. ? Probably had enough of their own bullshit.. Good luck to any person in need of mental help. You are not alone!!! There is help out there somewhere just not here at RENEWING HOPE FAMILY COUNSELING CENTER in Yucaipa Ca. Such a scam of a place !!!! Their moto should be, Where everyone gets paid except the patient. I could go on and on about this shit hole of a place of so called business

I have honestly gotten more and better help from YouTube videos with much less frustration. It was a very disappointing experience. They focus on medicating symptoms without treating and healing underlying trauma. I would give them a zero if I could.

When I went in for my first appointment, I was told I needed a referral from my insurance that I did not have. As a result, I was given the choice to reschedule or pay this session out of pocket (roughly $120), with the promise that I would be reimbursed soon (90 days at the latest). Feeling like I really needed to speak with someone, I paid. I went here for a little less than a year, periodically asking when I'd be reimbursed, and I never was. I could somehow never directly contact the billing department, and whenever someone promised to get back to me, they never would. I generally disliked entire staff by the end of this, they seemed super disorganized and apathetic towards helping me. I had other issues with this place, but this was by far the largest. My therapist was fine. It's a shame she represented by a place run like this.

We arrive and the office assistant couldn't print the paperwork but said that I could fill out the forms online during my mom's session. Not 5 minutes into my mom's session, I see the therapist come out and spends 10 mins printing the paperwork. I asked her if she was still going to have session with my mom, and she said that yes while "my mom fills it out." I didn't understand why she couldn't wait until after the session for my mom to fill the paperwork out and actually have session with her. Then, the hour had even not finished when my mom comes out with paperwork in her hands. I ask if everything's okay and she says that they didn't really have session because the therapist was more concerned about the paperwork, which was not even done. The therapist was by the front desk and I asked her if they had session and she said "yes, but that my mom was filling out paperwork simultaneously". I said "that's not really a session though." And she literally said "I'm really good at multitasking." This was just an awful first time experience for my mom. I intentionally chose Johanna Malaret because I wanted a therapist that would be accessible to my mom. Someone who spoke Spanish and was culturally sensitive. But that wasn't her experience.

I'll be honest, I was hesitant at first because of a terrible past experience we had with another partial hospitalization program (Pacific Grove in Riverside, CA. I highly recommend avoiding that one if you want proper care). But Sol Woman's completely changed my perspective on what quality mental health treatment can look like. From day one, the staff treated my daughter and me like family. They have an incredible team, Fabiola, their certified EMDR therapist, Johanna therapist, and Tania, the program manager all went above and beyond to collaborate with me and ensure my daughter's needs were met. My daughter often shared how connected she felt to the staff and how safe and comfortable she was in this women-centered environment. As a mom, that sense of trust and care means everything. I am deeply grateful for the compassion, professionalism, and genuine support they've shown us. If your loved one is struggling with mental health concerns and you're looking for a place that truly cares -- Sol Woman's Treatment is the place to go.
