We moved her to The Cottages & found a compassionate extended family who loved & cared for her as they would want their loved one to be treated. If you're looking for a facility that is perfect & will never have something "fall through the cracks" you won't find one anywhere. Each place has its flaws, BUT if you're looking for warm, caring people who will do their best to provide loving, compassionate care for your loved one who has memory care issues, take them to The Cottages!

Many should not be working with the elderly. This might be your job BUT it is the residents daily…read morelives. All of you are supposed to be caring and patient. Most of you are not. You can't count on management when they are the biggest part of the problem. Of so many at this facility, only a few truly care. If you move your loved ones in here and they can do everything for themselves, it might be "ok". If not, pay attention! Ask your loved ones questions....all the time, about their care. My Mom became very sick. They treated her awful, except for only a couple of care givers. I forgive the others because I'm supposed to and will pray they find human compassion at some point in their lives. Mom has recently passed away and I cry knowing how she was treated at this facility. Take time to research every facility you're looking in to. Make surprise visits before you decide on one. Talk to other residents and several care givers if you're able. Randomly, not ones the facility puts in front of you. **Mom passed from her sickness not because of her treatment here. They could have been nice and caring while Mom went thru this but they weren't.

It took 3 weeks to recover and he is not the same. They also had the nerve to send me a bill for the short 10 hours he was there under their "care". If you care about your loved ones, do not send them to this facility.

My grandma was moved here after being in the hospital and she received great care while being in this home. The staff was attentive and took good care of her. The facility itself is very nice and I'm glad that she was able to be somewhere so comfortable
