My friend and I made appointments online for mani pedis a weekday at 10 am. The request was confirmed within a few minutes, and we walked in the next morning right on time. We were immediately greeted and were able to pick polish colors from a large wall selection. We were seated next to each other (there were a few other customers there, but not fully packed). My feet were submerged in hot water while my technician, Tammy, started on my hands. All was going well until she nicked my cuticle base on a finger, causing it to bleed. She quickly cleaned this up, but my finger base remained red and swollen--waiting to see if it becomes infected. When it came around to applying the polish, she started with a base coat. However, she then had difficulty opening the color polish, which appeared to be old and partially dried out. She tried to apply it on my nails, but the consistency was a bit thick, and she ended up having to switch to another color I had chosen for my toenails. When she removed the polish that had been applied, she did not reapply the base coat under the color so only one hand had the base coat. She did 3 coats of color and a top coat. For my feet, she trimmed my toe nails, but they were trimmed rather quickly and unevenly. Additionally, there was one toe that stung when she was cleaning up the edges/cuticles. For the massage, I was looking at my phone, and it was only 1 minute total. Overall, not a perfect experience, but the finished look was alright. The total cost was $50 ($20 mani, $30 pedi) before tip. In hindsight, I could have also gotten 10% off for being a first responder, but I didn't see the offer until too late! Where it all went downhill was when my shoes were put back on and I went home. I sat in the nail salon for at least half an hour letting my nails dry as my friend's technician finished her nails. I think the 5 layers of polish were too much because my nails had not dried at all and ended up having the polish scrape off and crease in multiple areas. I ended up coming back, and the lady at the front desk was so nice and offered for them to be redone for free. Initially, Tammy started by just painting a layer over the old layers, but when I pointed out you could still see the creases, and it likely would not dry, she used polish remover to start over. She did not use a base coat this time and was in more of a rush, standing while painting my fingernails and not using a light. I think the standing made a difference in my fingernails because my toenails ended up much better even though she went through the same process! There are some uneven areas on my finger nails, as well as two nails with a red thread that somehow ended up in the polish before it dried. She finished up by spraying my nails with what I assume is something to help them dry more quickly, and then I sat for 20 minutes before going home. Overall, I'm giving this place 3 stars for average work and good customer service but deducting 2 stars for the inconvenience, two areas I'm watching for potential infection, and lack of attention to detail the second time around. Update: Changed to 2 stars after I bumped my hand into a suitcase this morning and left a dent scraped in my nail polish. I figured it should be dry after nearly 24 hours! My finger is still a bit red as well but at least not super infected yet. read more

If I could leave 0 I would. If your looking to get a pedicure clear your day! It took 1.5 hours of disappointment to still leave with no nail polish and -45$. Do not bother paying for the packages with the massage as they are not worth it. Laying your foot on a hot rock is not a massage worth paying extra for. This is the only establishment that requires you to turn the water bath off yourself, they will turn it in for you but the rest is in your hands because no one will care around you. They will ask you if you want a drink but I guess you gotta get that yourself too cuz they will ask but not deliver. read more

I've been coming here to get my lash extensions done for a couple of months, and I love this place. Judy, the technician, who does my lashes is so sweet and knowledgable. She never minds answering any questions I have regarding the process, the up keep, cost, etc which is awesome bc there's no surprise when I go to check out (ultimate annoyance at other salons). I haven't had a chance to try out their other services but I'm definitely going to make time for a mani/pedi session soon. Everyone in the spa chairs looks so relaxed when I come and it seems like they have semi private rooms for groups or couples. I'm trying to convince my hubby to come with me to get his talons trimmed. For the reviewers who said there were issues as walk-ins, I definitely recommend making an appointment. Most of the times I call same day, even up to an hour before, and they're able to accommodate me. Of course if you want one person (aka Judy-total awesome sauce), YMMV. Other tips: 1) pay in cash to get a discount; 2) get their punch card. I think after 5 or 6 visits you get a certain amount off the next service; and 3) if you're getting the lashes, be aware you can't get them wet up to 24 hours so I try to schedule mine when I know I have an off day the next day. Was pressured (and was hovered over) by Jack the entire time to pick a color and then I had to ask multiple times to file my nails into the shape I wanted, and I still left with them not looking correct, and feeling like I was a burden to work with. The design I asked for was also uneven and does not match. Getting my nails done is supposed to be fun and relaxing, but this was stressful and disappointing. Unfortunately, I probably won't return because of the anxiety this experienced caused me. Update: After speaking with the manager Judy, I feel a bit more reassured. Judy was very kind and offered to have me come back in to have my nails fixed by a different nail tech. I really appreciate Judy for her kindness and offering some peace of mind and for listening to me. Judy definitely made the experience a bit more enjoyable. I have changed my rating from a 1 star to a 3 star because of Judy. Thanks again Judy for your great customer service. Update: Kim was able to fix my nails and they look beautiful! I will definitely go back! Since I moved to the area a few years ago I've tried 5 spas for mani pedis. This is the first one I'll use again. The staff was warm and welcoming. They seemed to enjoy working together. They did a great job on my nails. It was the end of the day and even though some of the staff was heading home, the ladies working with me did not make me feel rushed or act resentful that they were having to stay with me (which is so different than the last place I tried.). Phillip did a fantastic job on my dip nails and Ann gave me a pedicure that was just spectacular. I love the pedi menu. I chose the herbal detox and wasn't disappointed. I was in the Katy area and decided to give this place a shot because of the great reviews. When I walked in, the salon seemed pretty busy, but I was seated within 5 min of walking in - which I appreciate very much since I was a walk in. I asked for French tip SNS... the receptionist (judy) and my nail tech (dahra) did not seem comfortable with the Idea, so I decided to just get simple color. Dahra did a decent job. Several of my nails were filed crooked and I had to fix them once I got home. But that is my own fault for not noticing sooner. What really ruined the experience for me is that I was charged $45 dollars for my SNS dip even though they have a promotion going on to get $5 off. How do I know this? The receptionist, Judy made this offer to another client who came in asking for the price for the SNS dipping right after I paid! I paid her and was entering my information on their spoton system and here she is telling another lady that they have a promotion for $40...30 seconds after she charged my CC. That shows extreme dishonesty to me. If I had not experienced this, I would have genuinely considered going back since I am frequently in Katy visiting my family... never again read more

I'm actually very heartbroken to have to write this review. This salon did both my proposal and engagement nails. Christina is the absolute best for quality service. However, I went into the salon for a set of dip nails which is arguably the priciest service. Less than a week later, ALL of my nails gradually popped off. Even the owner agreed that they looked like press-ons as I had saved the nails to show them they did not break due to trauma and were entirely whole when they came off. They offered to fix the nails that had popped off for free, but the problem was that I could already see the others were loose and were going to come off in a matter of hours. When I asked for them to re-do the whole set because they were clearly horrendous, they still charged me, though at a discounted rate. This place is only four minutes from my house and has been my go-to for my nails for two years now. I really wanted to be able to come back, but it's clear that they value their income over loyalty and customer service. I've bought countless friends and family here, and for charging me that amount, even if it was discounted, I won't be returning. They would have made thousands more off of me had they just fixed the nails that THEY messed up for free. It's absolutely ridiculous that nails pop off less than a week after a full set of dip. I want to make clear that this was not Christina's fault nor is my review towards her work as it is always excellent but towards the way that this was handled by Judy/management. I tried really hard to like the place. My first shellac mani I was pretty happy with. My pet peeve is when they don't get the paint close to the cuticle and the nail tech did a pretty good job. The next time I went in, I got a person who was having her first day. Firstly, she didn't even push back my cuticles. Everyone knows its critical to have clean nails/cuticles for shellac to last! Also, she didn't spray and clean my nails prior to applying the paint. When I stuck my hand in the lamp, I could feel nail filings EVERYWHERE. The next day it started to have bubbles. A few days later, one of my thumbs started to peel at the cuticle. UGH. I won't be returning. The search to find a decent salon that actually does a decent job and isn't trying to up sell you every other minute. Don't waste your money here. read more
