My favorite technician went to work there. However the owner is very rude and doesn't prioritize customers. I was there for 9 am appointment, was early at 8:55 waited till 9:10 had meetings planned around this 1 appointment, the owner did not check on the technician or provide any explanation. Since I had a prior relationship with her, I called her myself only to find out she had something come up on her end and she wasn't going to be there till 10 am. I rescheduled my meetings as I figured I would be the 1st one she would see when she comes in Not the case, the owner was rude, he unapologetic and just said I could not be seen till later in the day. Came in first thing on a Saturday morning to avoid a rush. Not sure why this place has such good reviews. Like other review says maybe it's just one or two key people that are actually good here. I spent double the amount I normally do and the French is uneven, there's a bunch of junk around my cuticles and they're really dry. Base coat also looks really uneven. I just expected a little more perfection with the cost. It's an ok place though, clean and friendly staff. read more

I walked in late on a Tuesday night and was on a time crunch because my son was at church school nearby. I was in need of a many pedi but unfortunately only had time to get my nails done. I got a soft pink shellac color with round shaped nails. Here's a picture of my nails a week later. Still happy with the color and shape. Mandy is a very sweet and welcoming. I came here on a whim looking for a new nail salon. The salon is very clean and modern looking with plenty of massage chairs that looked super new. I got a mani and pedi with shellac and it turned out beautifully however the person working on my fingers scratched my skin up with the rough emery board a couple times because they were distracted with everything else going on in the nail salon! This place is great but I would recommend making an appointment here on the weekend rather than walking in. read more

I came in for a mani pedicure and ended up getting powdered nails. I regretted it after seeing what the nail tech was doing to my hands. I objected immediately that I didn't like the shape, bulk and length of nails.. the owner or manager came by and told the tech to fix them. She buffed out two and sent me away. I told the manager at the register that I didn't like them.. at all. My mom told her too they looked terrible like press on nails. She asked me "why do you think that way? She didn't offer a discount just to come back and they will buff them. I'm busy don't have time to drive back for buffing so I left upset. After two people calling me out on how my nails looked. I decided it's not fair to pay for something I don't like... so I drove 30 min to go back. The manager didn't say hi sat down buffed one out it was still ugly and short so I said please take them off. She did.. didn't even gloss them or cut the cuticle noting. I spent a lot of money here and left empty handed. Just know if you chose to take a chance getting your nails done here they won't give you what you paid. First time they even offered wine today it was like ugh your back. The correct thing to do is apologize offer a re do with an experienced tech or discount... or at least manicure so I don't leave feeling like I was robbed. My second time visiting Allure and I will be a returning customer! Mandy is so sweet and accommodating to all guests, she helped me last time pick out my dip color for my vacation and this time to match my dress as a wedding guest. I wanted chrome and she helped me narrow it down to what we thought would look best with the dress! Cause you know how hard it can be to decide on a color! I got Peter the first time and I thought they looked awesome, so I requested him again. He really takes his time to make sure that everything is even and perfect, I love how my Dip set came out! I got Tanya for my pedicure and will be requesting her next time as well, she did a great job! Exfoliated my feet so good yet not painful at all and the last place I went to literally left my legs sore, but Tanya was awesome, she massaged my legs firmly but not to where it was painful. My legs and feet felt great after! She pays major attention to detail as well. Side note their massage chairs are the best!! Definitely check out Allure! When Ms. Ami moved to Allure Nail Spatique, I followed as I had been going to her for more than a year before. I really enjoy this place a lot more than the other places I have been too. I have gone to a couple other ladies there and all were amazing. I hope that this virus lockdown ends soon and can return again to be pampered like before. Dog sitting for a friend in Fulshear and wanted to get my nails done and this place is 3mins from their house. I just walk-in and had a friendly greeting from Mandy at the front desk. Angie worked on my mani and Tonya worked on my pedi which both exceeded my expectations! All 3 on customer service alone is having me consider driving all the way from the Heights, where I live, to have the great experience again. This place is beautifully decorated, clean, calming atmosphere, and the massage chairs are amazing. The pricing is very competitive or reasonable! I've only been there once, and on top of being crazy expensive, you get hung up on when you call to make an appointment! I just called and I was placed on hold for a few minutes, then I hear that he comes back and hangs up on me. Could that have been a mistake? Maybe. If so, could he use caller ID to call back and return my call? I think so. Sad to see the poor customer service practices at many nail salons when people are already tired of paying outrageous prices for this service. read more

This used to be my favorite place. I got a mani pedi today. I told him I wasn't happy with the nail polish application so he applied more polish. Again, told him I wasn't happy so he applied another coat. Then said "thank you" and walked away. The girl that did my pedicure asked if I wanted her to fix it, so she started over. When I checked out at the front I said that I wanted all of my tip to go to the lady that did my pedicure because she redid my nails and the manager/owner? said "yes I saw that" and that was it. Very disappointed. I picked out two colors that matched perfectly and the dip I got was NEON and doesn't match at all. My dip was "refilled" which I have never seen before ever. They just put the dip powder of the new color over my last dip and did nothing more but charged me full price. I like me nails short and they are super long. I will never come back here. read more

I ask for rounded corners and he cuts my nails so short to the quick they are painful to touch anything now and can not be shaped correctly. They are the most drastic square shape possible. There is shellac stuck all over my skin as well. He said it was the "best" job he could do. I have given this place several chances each time explaining what I want. The owner understands, but when her husband does my nails he wants to argue with me about shape or length EVERY time. Last visit I told him I don't come to get my mani/pedi so that I can argue with him. This visit was my last and I will not return. Also they might advertise OPI shellac, but use a super cheap shellac base and top coat that smells horrible! Avoid this place at all costs!!! read more
