I have been to numerous different nail salons and spas in Tucson to get a pedicure, and this place takes the cake and others were major flops! For starters, this location offers personal boxes for a one time fee of $5 with your own nail tools, which really makes me feel more sanitary. In addition, the chemical smells of most nail salons is pretty much non-existent here, which really appeals to me. Their location is very spacey and welcoming and on top of that everything is very clean and well kept. Great place to come to really relax and get your nails done. For $25 you can get a great pedicure, and for $30 you can get their additional callous treatment, and while it's gross to see what can come off your feet, it leaves them feeling like a babies butt. Compare them, I dare ya! ; ) Worth the extra $5 for me! And something that a lot of nail salons struggle to fix for me is ingrown toe nails. Not that any of you needed to know that about me, but it's a big deal to me to have found a place that can not only fix them, but do a spectacular job that will last until my next monthly pedicure! Today was my first time at Serenity Nails and I will definitely go back! The facility is very clean and smells nice. The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable about the products and services they offer there were a lot of regular customers coming in and the employees all knew who they were. I had an appointment and as soon as I walked in was greeted by name (before I could even say I had an appointment). Also-tons of praise to Tracy, who handled my cuticles without fear and gave the best manicure I've had in a long time! read more

My first time going to this salon was great. The nail tech greeted me right as I walked in and started working immediately. She made conversation with me and was sooo friendly. She stuck with her prices as well since some other nail salons charge you extra for every little thing! I will be returning for sure. read more

I was so excited because I found a clean place that uses the proper cleaning agents and actually scrubs the pedi baths after each client. They wash their hands and seem cleaner than most of the nail salons. I found the best technician ever!!! Her name is Ann. Without her, the salon would have sub par work. The other technicians do not seem to put pride in their work and they are sloppy with the painting. The work Ann does is very clean and very durable...lasting up to three weeks without any chipping! The other technicians, especially Jenny, were awful! My nails only lasted 3 days when Jenny did them and I paid $70 for it. I love Ann and will only go to her from now on. I do like that you can opt to have your own nail supplies kept in a box. You pay $5 and you can keep germs to yourself! It's worth it not to get a fungus. If you happen to get Jenny or Kathy.. RUN! Don't do it! They are both horrible and uncaring. They don't listen to your preferences and they do an awful job. I am very disappointed in their performance as nail technicians. I went back to get my chipped nails fixed and Kathy did an awful job. I left with the same sorry looking nails I had when I came in, all she did was repaint them. That is not where the problem was. The NAILS chipped due to a poor shellac in the first place! I don't know why I can't get a good job from anyone but Ann. So, I'll be back... but only by appointment with the best tech in the place! read more

I had never heard about Serenity Nail Spa until my aunt told me that she goes there now because you can pay $5 to get your own set of tools, which I think is great. It was a beautiful salon. It was pretty busy but the wait wasn't too long. My aunt's friend who had been visiting from Vegas had gotten her nails done the night before but was not happy with them. The manager fixed them for no extra charge which was very nice. When I got my pedicure, they didn't put the bath salts in for me yet, and the water wasn't very warm. The lady I had was not very nice. She kept glaring at my aunt's friend and my aunt and she asked if I wanted the callous treatment and I told her no. She told me I really needed it and again I said no thanks, I'm a dancer. She then asked, "You're a dancer?" Which I replied yes and she looked me up and down. It made me very uncomfortable. My toes did come out awesome and it was very affordable! I will definitely go back, and hopefully I don't get her again. read more

I have been getting a basic manicure and my nails done every 2 - 2 1/2 weeks for over ten years now, about seven of those years in Tucson, AZ. Kelly, from Serenity Nail Spa has done my nails for most (all but about 6 months) of those seven years. She did my nails at another nail salon in town. I have always lived a long distance (over fifteen miles) from Serenity Nail Spa. I've "tried" several other salons closer to my home for reasons of convenience and have always returned to Serenity Nail Spa, due to my dissatisfaction with the quality of the nail care and service at other salons. No one (without exception) could do natural (as opposed to gaudy) nail design like Kelly! All of the stylists are friendly and eager to serve. I've been to many salons in these ten years. On a scale of 1 - 10 for cleanliness, this salon rates 9, with 10 being perfect; and no salon is perfectly clean. The stylists work long hours. They have homes and families, too. Be courteous and plan to be in the salon with ample time for the stylist to comfortably complete the service you request before closing. My service takes 1 1/2 - 2 hours. The longer the stylist takes, the more quality, care and service she/he can provide. I don't like a "rushed product/service". I highly recommend Serenity Nail Spa! read more

I had just moved to the Eastside and needed to find a new nail salon and I went to Serenity based on someones recommendation. Looked ok, thought it was unique that the brought the stuff for my pedicure out on a wooden bento type tray. But the young lady who did my pedicure was apparently not experienced nor had she been well trained. As a result, she didn't know how to cut nails properly. I had an ingrown toenail afterward that took months to heal. Yep, you read that right...MONTHS! Today will be the first time I've been brave enough to go to a salon and get another pedicure (I have Arizona feet - I'm desparate!) I've been to several nail salons around town and have never experienced this before. I've had good pedicures and so-so pedicures...but this was truly a bad pedicure. I have never written a review online before, but since I'm about to go back out and brave the pedicure jungle, I felt compelled to write this one. read more
