A haircut should involve precision, checking for symmetry, and a bit of artistry. A blow dry should be about volume, hold, and attention to detail. Instead, I was rushed into the chair and rushed right back out with my hair still wet. It was a "blink and you'll miss it" service that left me with a result that looks haphazard and unfinished. There was zero effort put into the styling. I didn't feel like a valued client; I felt like a checkbox on a list that they wanted to clear as quickly as humanly possible. I scheduled an appointment for a gel manicure and, upon arrival, was informed that they were running about 20 minutes behind schedule. While inconvenient, I understand that delays happen and did not have an issue with that. My concern is with the quality of the service itself. I was charged $60 for a gel manicure with chrome, which was significantly more expensive than I was accustomed to paying here. Unfortunately, the results did not reflect that price point. The chrome effect is barely visible and simply looks like a standard shiny top coat. My cuticles were minimally attended to, leaving the manicure looking unfinished and uneven. Additionally, several nails are lumpy and inconsistent in appearance. Most disappointing of all, the polish on my thumb began peeling less than 24 hours after the appointment. For a gel manicure at this price, I expected much better quality and longevity. As a long-time customer who has had many positive experiences here over the years, it is especially disheartening to leave such a review. I have always appreciated this salon, which makes this experience all the more disappointing.

What I am upset about is the fact that everyone failed to mention that there was a $20 upgrade fee for the detox facial. I do see that she's also been called out several other times on reviews due to similar incidents with her attitude. I feel like this is all intentional and that they do this so that they can keep the money that customers have already spent and not try to resolve it so that they can get their credits back . She also shared this is only something a manager or owner could handle however there is not a manager at this location for the entire summer. This has been ongoing for months . I am beyond frustrated as I have over $1500 in credits and no one can ever help. As far as their services, I'd never go to this location even though it's my "home" location. I use the Castlerock location, which is a different franchise owner.
