I am beyond disheartened by my experience here. I called ahead and booked an appointment because I had a special event to attend. I was looking forward to a professional, polished experience; instead, I felt like a car being pushed through an automated wash. The entire service--hairwash, haircut and a blow dry--was completed in exactly 20 minutes. It felt incredibly dismissive. A haircut should involve precision, checking for symmetry, and a bit of artistry. A blow dry should be about volume, hold, and attention to detail. Instead, I was rushed into the chair and rushed right back out with my hair still wet. It was a "blink and you'll miss it" service that left me with a result that looks haphazard and unfinished. There was zero effort put into the styling. I didn't feel like a valued client; I felt like a checkbox on a list that they wanted to clear as quickly as humanly possible. I was looking forward to establishing a relationship with the place. I left the salon feeling more stressed than when I walked in, and now I'm stuck trying to fix my hair myself. If you're looking for a relaxing experience or a stylist who actually cares about the quality of their work, please look elsewhere. This was a total waste of time and money. read more

I've been searching for a new salon and stylist. I wanted both to have that chill, classy vibe. Looking at interior photos of Wisp, I loved the atmosphere. It has what I was looking for. We all know that the place isn't as important as the pro though. During that search, I've received some awful (but bearable) cuts and color services. I get my roots done and have an a-line bob cut. It is beyond challenging these days to find someone that can do both... well. Upon hearing about Wisp and the high recommendations, I called to make an appointment. Honestly, given the reviews, I was a little nervous. However, the woman who answered the phone was extremely kind and understanding to my situation. She asked me several questions and assigned me to a stylist, Melissa, because she has and deals well with curly hair. The salon is very clean and inviting. The outside is very clean and it appears that the salon takes up the entire building. The inside has laid out neatly and has a modern feel. Since I am a bit of a germaphobe, especially when it comes to water and drains, I felt very much at ease. Melissa does, in fact, have and does really well with curly hair! However, there is a bigger issue. I am losing my hair. A lot of it. She gave me some pointers on how to help reduce that. While I'm not sure whether it's because I cut all my long hair off or if it is the recommendations, the loss of hair has reduced. Either way, the price was right and the service was amazing. Kate/Katelyn does a good job with blonde hair, but has a long way to go in terms of customer service and professionalism. She treats customers like they are lucky to have her vs. being grateful that they give her their business. She complains about clients to other clients and vents frustrations about clients on her social media. It leaves you wondering what she says about you behind your back. If she were a bit more professional I'd go back. Customer service makes ALL the difference! The salon itself is lovely and a great setting. I've now gotten my hair done at least five times here since I've moved to CO & it's exactly what I want out of a salon. The building is modern, clean, & all the employees are lovely. I get my hair done by Bailey B, & I always get compliments in & out of the shop about my color. She was able to match it perfectly from my old salon. Another thing I love is what many salons were lacking where I lived which was customer service. Bailey gives those great shampoo head massages that you usually only get the first time you visit a salon & she blow dries/styles your hair which a lot of stylists where I lived were dropping in favor of letting you walk out with the wet dog look. I never understand adding a massive surcharge for services like this; don't you want your product to look good leaving the store? They also don't juggle 5 clients at once & leave you to an assistant to cut your hair. It is so refreshing to be at a salon that understands how to treat a customer & I will only get my hair done here! read more

Totally a waste of my money. I wasn't told until my hair was done that the stylist didn't take credit cards only cash and checks!!! I was charged $160 for her to put peroxide in my hair. The prices of a child's hair went up $10 and they charged me an extra $5 for a womens hair cut...for a 6 year old girl. They didn't wash or blow dry her hair and said she has really thick hair?! It was my first time visiting the Wisp salon to get a highlight and trim. Although my stylist was super sweet, my hair color did not turn out as what we had talked about. You know how the salon lighting is always different than at home so I didn't notice the color was not right until later. I called the salon twice and spoke with the receptionist to see if I could get in for a correction. Each time I was promised I would get a call back and never did. Also I got maybe a quarter of an inch trimmed off the ends of my hair and was charged for a full haircut. Will definitely not be returning to this salon. read more

I have very thick and wavy hair so I needed someone to manage it for me. Stacy has been my hair stylist ever since the beginning. I remember being nervous going to a new salon and because of my thick hair not knowing what to expect. She calmed my nerves and made my hair look amazing and I love going to get my hair done. They just moved to a bigger space in Parker and it's absolutely perfect! Because of their new and big space, they offer so many different services including eyelash extension, waxing, even massages! If you are looking for a modern, hip and customer forward salon, you need to come here. I have definitely found my forever salon. I had my hair bayalaged and it looked amazing. My stylist was Julie Duffey and she was amazing. She was so nice and did an amazing job fixing my hair. I had gone to a Great Clips and they butchered my hair. It was uneven and looked awful. By the time Julie was done my hair looked amazing and it was like nothing had happened. She cut it perfectly and styled it beautifully. The prices are very good as well and aren't ridiculous like some salons can be. If you ever need a hair cut or anything come here and they will take care of you. Everyone here is so amazing and nice. I did a walk in. I was told they normally require an appointment but I was able to been seen within 15 minutes. I just moved to the area and have been needing to find a good salon and I found it! I've never been so happy walking out of a salon as I did today. Tifanny did my hair and she was so sweet and gave me exactly what I wanted. (Balayage and bangs). My bangs turned out perfect and the color was so on point. It took just under two hours (I have very thick hair) it probably would have taken longer but my hair was already lightened. Tiffany was really fast without rushing and professional. I was so tired from raising a 5 month old, I walked in there a hot mess but I was even able to nap as she did my hair haha. Julie listened very well, gave me advice then proceeded to do exactly what we spoke about-baby fine highlights, blond, then a gold toner. Very happy with the service. If I could give the front desk lady idk her name (Meghan or whatever it was) 0 stars I would, I was on the phone with her earlier today on 8/7 at 3:41pm, the phone call started off with her already having a weird tone, I answered nicely & she told me I was a no show & needed to charge my card even though I called 8/5 leaving a voicemail about needing to reschedule, she calls the next day & I told me she listened to my voicemail & was giving me a call back, clearing knowing I needed to reschedule because that is what I stated in the voicemail. At the moment she called I was on my way to a docs app & told her the same thing that I needed to reschedule and I would call back & she understood. Back to the phone call of todays date is when she continues to literally argue over me and having a nasty attitude about me rescheduling & literally says over the phone "oh my god" with child like attitude, if you're gonna work in front desk do your job better and actually have better service, the ladies that do hair here are great but your front desk person I would really suggest hiring a nice person not trying to train someone to be nice. The attitude & lack of professionalism she has is unacceptable and I've definitely made it clear to a few of my friends to not go here because of the attitude the front desk lady has, the fact she argued while I was talking shows the lack of maturity she has & I definitely have a problem with her work ethic, she needs to absolutely work on that. The rest of the staff is absolutely great & extremely nice ladies but your front desk person is definitely bad for business. For the front desk lady, do better. read more

Unfortunately we have to say we had a terrible haircut. The salon was very welcoming and the staff was friendly, our cut on the other hand was horrible. We can't even have them address it since it needs to grow out some. Otherwise it would be way to short. We saw lots of folks come out with cute styles but clearly they had more experienced stylists. Kate is absolutely amazing and has helped my hair tremendously over the last 7 months by giving me honest insight into how to stop damaging my hair. I always wanted thicker hair but could not get mine to grow without it breaking off so we decided to add tape in extensions. She had to take quite a bit of dead useless hair off at first which was shocking but in the end it's helped tenfolds. Today we added new extensions in and were able to leave them longer since my hair has grown so much over the last few months. 100% recommend Kate as she is incredibly sweet, funny, professional, and very knowledgeable. read more

I arrived at the salon, asked by the receptionist to wait for Alyssa in the comfortable waiting area, as I was a few minutes early. Alyssa greeted me warmly. After sitting down at her station, she ask what I wanted to do today. Cut and color. She had prepared ahead of time by saving some pics of color and cut ideas. I was really impressed by this, especially since it was my first time working with her. We decided on the color and cut. It tuned out beautifully.
