I didn't really know that he specialized in water features, I thought he was a general handyman when I first called. I didn't even ask for a quote...I was desperate. He was really nice. He was quick to schedule and very intentional about keeping me informed during the day. He was so nice, so intentional, so attentive to the little details, I began to worry that he was one of those high-end boutique contractors. In 2005 we added a field stone fountain attached to our field stone house. After 5 yrs fountain started leaking; we had the original contractor come an rebuild/refinish fountain. This repair lasted for less than 2 yrs. I reached out to the contractor for more repair work only to find he quit the fountain business. Since then I have repaired and refinished every summer all to no avail. After multiple reviews by so called fountain contractors/landscapers who recommended total raising/rebuilding and no guarantees we found Greg at Serenity Water Gardens. We agreed with Greg's recommended "fix" that didn't include a total teardown of the original fountain and a very general, but reasonable quote. Greg and his team showed up on date/time as promised and completed the work (with cleanup) in 3 days. We're now 6 weeks out from completed work and the fountain is not leaking. Greg's recommended fix looks to be working (fingers are crossed). Greg was polite and very easy to work with. We highly recommend Greg/Serenity. Our only recommendation is that you receive a well delineated quote for scope of work and associated costs. Serenity is top notch in professionalism & great service!! A little background on my situation-we have a goldfish pond in our backyard and for the past nearly 3 months we have been extremely frustrated over a leak that's been occurring. We had a 'pond expert' come out and we spent over 1k. Only the pond was still leaking. Long story short, after repeated attempts for her to fix it and conflicting advice we still had the leak and now our waterfall looked terrible as well thanks to her 'help'. Enter my phone call to Greg with Serenity last week. Not only did he patiently listen while I vented, he was extremely polite, responsive and knowledgable! His price to do a house call and investigate the pond himself was more reasonable than any other in the area we found. He was able to tell us almost right away what the real issue was-tree roots in the waterfall box were causing the leak. Within 3 days he called me and gave me a very reasonable quote for the repair and came out with his crew that same afternoon. As they worked he texted me updates and pictures of the progress. Wow!! Seriously great customer service. Our leak is now repaired AND he made our waterfall MORE beautiful than ever! I had a water feature that was leaking that was installed by our landscaping company and it kept leaking. I was referred to Serenity Water Gardens by a friend. Uneasy as I was they came out gave me two great options complete tear out or just patch. after understanding the difference between Dry Stacked what my guys did. I opted for a tear out and rebuild. Now my dogs don't tear it up knocking stones into the water. Wish I had heard of these guys first. Thanks to Greg and his team for a great job.
