Been wanting to eat here since April. Finally made it in last Saturday. We went late afternoon. I had the lunch special with a beef enchilada and Chili Relleno. I'm used to Tex-Mex, and this was very close. Enjoyed the meal very much but I'm not used to English Peas in the Spanish rice. Flavors were good, service was great. "Americanized" Mexican food; not authentic. Happy hour was cool- margaritas were $3.50. It was okay, but nothing special. Also, the salsa tasted like a spicy version of marinara sauce. read more

Went to Sergio's for dinner twice while we were visiting Klamath Falls for 4 days. This place never fails for service. The first time was for food to go, large portions, great tasting food. Omar is an excellent host, he also added a patio in the back, which he told me that my dog can also come with us next time, which is a big plus since she is part of our family, and we hate eating in a hotel room as we are on vacation. Amazing! From the service to the food, everything was as it should be, Amazing. My husband and I both decided to try something new, so glad we did. We both ordered 2 very different seafood dishes. His was a crab and shrimp platter with Mexican rice, melted cheese and a white cream dip. I had a hot mixed seafood soup that was so filling and perfect to taste. The salsa and chips were always kept full along with our beverages. It was a pleasure to have the owner making rounds checking to make sure everyone was happy with their meals and personally gave me some advice on what to add and how to eat my dish. Lived here for 2 years and I never tried this place till today. First impression is that it's very dark instead and small. Bar has two small tvs for watching games. Their chips and salsa are bomb.com!!!Im still munching on them while I write this. Unfortunately that's where it stops. Food came and presentation is bad. Most of the plate is beans, very watery beans. There's some sort of oil on top of the food, can't see it very well since it's dark, but I'm hungry so I'm gonna eat it. First bite of the cheese enchilada and I start chewing slowly....with a puzzled look. Something's not right. Took another bite and the cheese wasn't melted..yuck. I barely ate half the plate before asking for my check. Clearly disgusted , the owner asked if he can heat it up for me, which meant microwave, so I kindly declined, payed the check, and got the hell outta there. Will not go back......EVER! One of the worst dining experiences and one of the worst mexican food places in Klamath Falls. Only good thing is there chips and salsa.... that's it! Only reason they get 2 stars... read more

Really good food here, went tonight with the family and had great service, someone always jumping in when it chips or drinks got too low. The only downside was the price was kinda steep for what I got, I got just a cheese quesadilla with nothing else and it was over $10. So just one tortilla and some cheese was that much. read more

During our ASCE Regional competition at Klamath Falls, our group of over 25 was desperately looking for a place that could accomodate all of us and stay open past 10pm. Even on such short notice, the staff at Sergios were able to host us all in the same room, merging tables as more of us arrived. The food was excellent (recommend their seafood cocktail!) and when they heard one of our members had a birthday they surprised us with a serenade at the end. Son los mejores! read more

Went here tonight for Happy Hour, since the last time (about 6 weeks ago) was so good. What a disappointment!! Last time, we were greeted at the door like old friends, shown to the bar and offered food right away. This time, the staff barely acknowledged us. Although the margaritas were awesome, the happy hour appetizers tasted like they came from the frozen foods section; the tacos were cold, the mini chimichangas - also cold - were bland and the hot wings were way too spicy, chewy and tough. What was an even bigger letdown was that no one seemed to care. We mentioned it to the waitress and she just smiled politely and asked if we wanted another drink. The hostess just kind of looked blankly at my husband and the gentleman (owner? manager?) was more interested in power-washing his truck out in the parking lot than listening to guest comments. Was in town visiting Crater lake-and this place was not good. My margarita was sugarless and sour even after asking to fix it. The food was bland and didn't have many options for vegetarians. Salsa and chips were good. The tortillas were too chewy, I feel like I've had better. read more

Ate dinner here once during a recent road trip up the West Coast. It was recommended by a local from Klamath Falls. The food was very, very good, with a good beer selection as well. This is one of my favorite Mexican food resturants. They have the best service of any resturant I have ever been in. My wife and I joke about how fast they get the chips and salsa to the table(safe bet it will be less than 30 seconds. They food is as good as it gets. All the staff is friendly and polite. read more

Phenomenal is all I can say. The chips taste amazing and that salsa has me wanting to double dip. I recommend the ranchero burrito. It had an amazing sauce that kept me wanting more. Combining it with a cheese quesadilla left my stomach full, something most restaurants fail to do. Finally, to top it off, I recommend the fried ice cream. My wife and I travel extensively and this is my absolute favorite mexican-style restaurant anywhere. It's family owned and run, and the bulding, food, and atmosphere has that "family" feel to it. From the moment you walk in the door to when you are finished, they go out of their way to make sure you feel welcome. The service is excellent and the menu is extensive and includes what appear to be some "family" recipes. Try the tampipollo! It's their specialty and I order it half of the time we eat there. Prices are typically 8-15 dollars per plate. We take all of our out of town friends and relatives to Sergios and they always want to go back the next time they visit. I moved to Klamath Falls in 1993. At that time, there was one Mexican restaurant in K-Falls (cannot recall the name). I was from L.A., so definitely needed my fix of Mexican food. I went to that unnamed restaurant and was appalled at the food: salsa too hot, enchiladas like cardboard. That restaurant has since burned down. Riding down the main street one day, I noted that a new Mexican restaurant was opening. I began to salivate, my taste buds tingled. Every day I would pass the restaurant and look for an opening date. Finally, Sergio's opened and I scurried in for a meal. Ah! A real margarita. Ooh! Wonderful enchiladas rancheras. Sergio's since then opened a much larger restaurant called Sergio's Dos, and the first one was closed. The new Sergio's had a much more Mexican ambience and the food was still great. I go there every chance I get. The owner is Francisco and the restaurant is named after his son Sergio. read more

service was good. i went with my wife for lunch . i ordered the new york steak SANDWHICH medium rare. and what i got was a steak cooked Well Done and served on top of one slice of buttered hoagie bread. WTF! Ruined my meal..... i was soo excited to go eat there, and they dropped the ball big time. i didnt want to be a dick and complain about my meal, have them take it back only to have it returned to me with a nice fat layer of spit. so i bit my tongue and ate it. i know mexicans dont like to eat pink meat....
