SUMMARY: We were disappointed all around and I would not recommend dining here, at all. I don't know if most people have missed out on great Mexican before. But this restaurant is missing the mark by a longshot. PROS: 1.) chips and salsa were decent. I would say on par with the average chips and salsa. CONS: 1.) walking into the front door the bathrooms are to the right, causing the entryway to smell like a latrine. #BadImpression 2.) Service was OK - the waiter we had was managing a lot of tables so everything took longer than it should have for 2 PM. (We were there for over an hour) 3.) The drinks were subpar. Both of us had sierra mist and it was not fizzy at all. 4.) My friend had a chimichanga. It was OK. All of the food lacked flavor. 5.) I ordered fajitas, which was the dealbreaker for me. As I continue my aimless stumble through K Falls I have yet to find anything passable as actual food. This place included. I had high hope as the chips and salsa weren't bad (they were free), but when my taco enchilada combo plate showed up I almost sent it back. The sauce had no color and much less flavor. The tortillas tasted store bought. It makes me wonder..do Mexicans actually cook the Mexican food in K Falls? My food was barely warm and the guy I was with could barely pick his up because it was so hot. Last night my wife and I stopped by Sergio's for a Margarita and an appetizer. We ended up drinking two 'Happy Hour' Margarita's a piece and ordered some appetizers to go along with the free appetizers that are usually available during 'Happy Hour". We had the Chicken stuffed Jalapeno wrapped with bacon, and a bowl of Albondigas soup. Wonderful, tasty food. Our bill came to $21 and I had plenty to eat and more to drink than I usually have. What a great experience this place continues to be. I had mentioned in an earlier post the noise level was average, on this visit in the lounge the noise level was loud, but not objectional. This place was your classic Mexican restaurant. You walk in and it's like you walked into a Mexico shop. The colors, the music and even the employees. Chili Verde,,,No chilies, no Verde!!!Just a brownish mush of something without any flavor!!!None!!! The Tortillas...don't get me started... The only resemblance it had to a real Mexican Tortillas ...they were round... tasted like the plastic bag they came in. Two bites and I was done... feeling kind of sickish. This review is about their happy hour, which is by far one of the best in town. They have great drink specials with $3 margaritas and cheap beer. They also have free food for happy hour patrons including chips and salsa, fresh veggies, wings, a mini burritos. The service is fast and friendly. Mediocre Mexican food in my humble opinion, I've had better Mexican food elsewhere. The margaritas are great though!

Pretty sad for Mexican food but I'm comparing it to really great Mexican food, if you don't know better you'd think this was pretty good. The salsa had a mild flavor but a decent after kick with spice. They kept our chip basket full. We eat got a side salad with our entrees which was a pile of iceberg lettuce, some shredded cheese, some croutons and one slice of a small tomato, pretty sad. The fajitas were flavored well, big serving, typical beans and rice, but the guacamole tasted like it was from a package and super bland. Service was nice, you have to pay at the front on your way out. I think for Klamath Falls this is as good as you're going to get for Mexican food but if you're looking for really good Mexican food wait until you get further south into California. I personally wouldn't eat here again but that's solely based on the food and not the service. read more

We found ourselves in downtown Klamath Falls after our tire blew out! As the tow truck was towing us to the tire shop, we happened to pass by Sergio's. As soon as our tires were fixed it was about dinner time so we decided to try Sergio's out! SO HAPPY WE DID! This place was awesome! The food was delicious and the service was seriously top notch! I specifically asked for our server's name just so I could also give him a great review. He said "ironically my name is Sergio!" Well Sergio at Sergio's, thank you for the great customer service, you truly made a bad day end well for us! If you are ever in Klamath Falls OR, please try this place out! We tried Sergio's for the first time this week, and it was so good! Very attentive servers. One of the best, moist tamales my husband has ever had! I had the beef version of the tampo-pollo, I think? Chili Rellenos are excellent! They have the seasoning of a well taken care of grill and that flavor does not come in a shaker or bottle, and that is very hard to find I might add. We were just arriving in Town and craving Mexican food. Checking out Yelp reviews and found Sergio's. The atmosphere was perfect. Good music, comfortable seating and friendly service. The margarita was amazing. The cuisine was very fresh and we loved the salsa. Congrats on your staff. Even though the restaurant was about to close they made us feel welcome and didn't rush us out. We had two of us get chimichanga's then my aunt had the burrito pastor and I had the burrito ranchero I believe it was called. They give you chip and salsa. The salsa has a kick and was pretty good but I wasn't a big fan of the chips. They call you "seniorita" and "senior" which is fun. I loved my burrito the red sauce on top was great and the shredded beef had good flavor!! We also got a side of flour tortillas which were yummy with the beans and rice and some of my extra red sauce. I think everyone left happy. I was visiting family in town and was a nice place to meet up. I would like to try some of their margaritas I heard they make them strong which reminds me of visiting Mexico. Our service was fast and efficient and reminded me of a team as all the servers were helping each other with drinks and bringing out food. It's a small quiet place to relax. Eddwin as it said his name on the check was a good server. He was kind and sweet. So glad there's a small gem in klammath falls for my next visit with family!! Suggested by a local. Seated quickly, pre-bevved quickly & then it all crashed. Our menus were taken from the table without our order placed. 2nd waiter came by a few minutes later & took orders. Whike waiting, fajitas with a burnt smell were delivered to a table nearby. Our order arrived & I was so disappointed. I dispise refried beans (grew up with them & never cared for them), menu does not mention them as being on the plate - I would told them not to include them. I have never had runnier Chili Colorado, far more like soup than a gravy & the "chunks" of beef were about the size of my pinkie fingernail. We also had the Verde, again .. odd recipe- no flavor of tomatillos or jalapeños, not even green in color to try to trick you. Lived here for 2 years and I never tried this place till today. First impression is that it's very dark instead and small. Bar has two small tvs for watching games. Their chips and salsa are bomb.com!!!Im still munching on them while I write this. Unfortunately that's where it stops. Food came and presentation is bad. Most of the plate is beans, very watery beans. There's some sort of oil on top of the food, can't see it very well since it's dark, but I'm hungry so I'm gonna eat it. First bite of the cheese enchilada and I start chewing slowly....with a puzzled look. Something's not right. Took another bite and the cheese wasn't melted..yuck. I barely ate half the plate before asking for my check. Clearly disgusted , the owner asked if he can heat it up for me, which meant microwave, so I kindly declined, payed the check, and got the hell outta there. Will not go back......EVER! One of the worst dining experiences and one of the worst mexican food places in Klamath Falls. Only good thing is there chips and salsa.... that's it! Only reason they get 2 stars... read more

Amazing! From the service to the food, everything was as it should be, Amazing. My husband and I both decided to try something new, so glad we did. We both ordered 2 very different seafood dishes. His was a crab and shrimp platter with Mexican rice, melted cheese and a white cream dip. I had a hot mixed seafood soup that was so filling and perfect to taste. The salsa and chips were always kept full along with our beverages. It was a pleasure to have the owner making rounds checking to make sure everyone was happy with their meals and personally gave me some advice on what to add and how to eat my dish.
