We ordered ahead to pick up a breakfast order. I had gotten the chorizo, egg, and potato breakfast tacos and it was sooo good. It was a little oily but definitely worth the taste even before the sauces were added. They gave us a reasonable wait time and promptly told us when it was going to be ready. I think Sergio's moved to the strip of stores next to the oils change place. Not very friendly service, tacos were bland. Picadillo taco basically consists of ground beef snd a few small pieces of potato. Not much flavor. My husband said his Guisada taco was just "alright" read more

Woo hoo, thank you to our seasoned "guides" for bringing us here for breakfast. I came out to southwest on a kayaking trip for my first time, but my friends who organize the trip have been making the trek for 20 years. The trip didn't happen the previous two years so Sergio's has been here at least that long since my friends had been here before. I'm shocked it has no reviews. This place is damn good! The eggs in the tacos were just amazing. So rich and flavorful. A standard taco is 1.70, for one "meat" (including beans or potato for the vegheads out there) and cheese. It costs a bit more to add salsa and guacamole to the tacos so you're actually looking at about $2.50 each since you'd be crazy not to add those. The food was just so yummy. A true Tejas Taco Trailor. There was also a friendly shop kitty roaming around the yard. I'm guessing maybe the owners also own the antique shop next door since they all appeared to share a lawn. There was a slight language barrier, and it didn't occur to me to speak Spanish (I'm conversational) until I was basically done ordering. I asked for corn tortillas, but received flour instead. Best tacos around. We vacation in the area often and always try out different local restaurants. This place was beyond delicious. We ordered 6 tacos. They are a decent size for $2 each. Staying at canyon lake and asked "Siri" to find the nearest breakfast place, she recommended Sergio's breakfast tacos. Ate here a couple of weeks ago. It was a cool hole in the wall taco place. I went there for breakfast tacos. I didn't realize they were cash only and had to go to the ATM, but otherwise the service was swift and friendly and the tacos were excellent. My only complain would be the potatoes in the breakfast tacos my wife had weren't so hot. The bacon was excellent though. I'd totally eat here again. read more

I used to live in Canyon Lake and my favorite taco stand closed. My husband and I looked on Yelp and discovered Sergio's. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO delicious. If you like everything breakfast and then some stuffed in a warm, homemade tortilla served with homemade salsa (red and green), order the breakfast combo taco. If you're not into "everything" breakfast, there's a big variety you can customize. This place is heaven. I wish there was a place in Houston that made breakfast taco's like this! Note - cash only. And, I noticed everyone leaving good tips in the tip jar, which is really nice to see, and obviously, well deserved. Love this place!! We went twice on a four morning stay. :). read more
