Series windshield Repair at my local Sam's Club La habra . Business stages repair center every few months in Sam's parking lot . They will inspect you're window and repair the chips so they do not continue to crack with a gel filler that you will not notice. I would recommend when you see them to give the service a try free to inspect . Repair after that they guarantee their work and will re do if needed . I hope this review helps those that are in need of an immediate windshield replacement with little time to verify the information they provide. Quick review: They are not transparent about the price of the windshield/cost of replacement, will falsely say they are using OEM parts, and incorrectly tell you a camera calibration is not needed after installation. Detailed review: Another company had quoted me $450 for a windshield replacement. Series Auto Events convinced me that a quote that low meant it was not an OEM windshield and that I would likely have issues down the line with the lane departure camera. Series Auto Events said they would use an OEM part and only charge me my deductible of $500 so my insurance can cover the remaining cost. Turns out, my insurance paid $0 and the windshield they installed was not OEM, it was Fuyao without the OEM markings. When I asked if my windshield camera would get calibrated, they said it was not needed. The invoice (which was not provided when initially requested) lacked part information and actual cost of the part. All my follow-up questions were met with answers that didn't make sense or deflections. When you need your windshield replaced quickly, it's easy to move past all the red flags and trust the person they trained to take advantage of you. Since the installation, I noticed it takes a longer time to defrost the windshield and the camera sensors are off. Overall, they are great at convincing you that they are providing a quality service but once you take the time to research their service, you realize it's a scam. read more
