They were really flexible with the schedule (same-day basically right away). They did it for free, even though I'm not a regular client (though I think I will be now). They even threw on new nose pads. I had already gone to another place that day that said they couldn't be fixed. That group thought they needed to tighten the screw and it wouldn't tighten more. So glad I called these guys. It was an 8+ minute hold, but I assume it's usually not that bad. Regardless, it seems like they're busy for good reason. It was worth the wait for me in this case.

After 9am I went back to the counter and asked why the wait. The girl at the counter said there was a problem with my insurance for the follow-up (my insurance is the same as on file). I told her they should have taken care of that before my appointment and I didn't have time to wait. I told her I would need to reschedule. She said "ok, the DOCTOR ISN'T EVEN IN YET ANYWAY." Isn't even in!!!!! I do not appreciate you wasting my time. I will NOT be returning if your office continues to be managed this way. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!

Started with my son waiting over 1 1/2 hours past his appointment to even get seen. Charged me a $39 copay for him. Thought it odd, but paid in advance of his getting there. When I go to my appointment two weeks later, there was no copay. I questioned why my son had one when he is on my insurance and was told he must have agreed to the digital images. No way! He had no contact with them before I was charged. As I waited in the middle reception area, I was "treated" to hearing the staff make fun of patient "E" and violate his HIPPA rights going on about how he calls every day about his contacts and how they thought it was so funny that his order was not even placed for the first two weeks. I completed my appointment, picking out my new glasses and was told 7-10 days. I had to clarify several times that I did not want bifocals, transitions, etc. and had to dodge the upsell of laser treatments. After about 10 days, I call to see if they are in. After they "check", I was told they were not in and would be two weeks. Day 15, I call and after they "check", I was told I had to see the doctor again because she wanted to see me to clarify my prescription. What?! I was already completely irritated by I make an appointment to drive to Tulare so I could be seen faster. Office staff was very nice and they basically repeat my exam again. I see the doctor and express my disappointment over the past month. She apologizes and says she is going to put a rush on my glasses. A few minutes after leaving the office, I get another appointment confirmation for 3/9/26. Today I call to ask what it is even for and was told it is for the laser treatments - 4 sessions. Are you kidding me?! I was up front in Hanford telling her I was not interested, go to Tulare and not a word was said about them, and then they just schedule me for skin procedures I never wanted. At this point, I plan to part ways after I get my glasses. Would not even wait that long had I not already paid for them weeks ago. Office staff has been unprofessional for years - other issues I have not even mentioned. I had stayed because I liked the doctor. After this experience and what I consider unethical upsells, I'm done.

Insurance billing was a breeze and remaining balance was significantly less for the premium lens than other places. Instead of being called back for eye exam staff told us we could look at men's frames on the right side of the store. Went around found 2 pairs. Stood at front table waiting for one staff on phone. Staff replied so do I and also I saw you looking on that side when I told you to stay over here because those are women's. My 15 yo was upset and felt it was disrespectful & rude. We worked with a wonderful staff member and she was incredible. Super helpful and did everything she could to get the glasses at a price we could manage. We were torn between two options and she said if we changed our mind we could come in and change the order. Within a few minutes, we made the choice to go with a cheaper option because money was tight and this expensive was unexpected. I walked into Stanton and was greeted with the store manager Martha. I explained the situation and she immediately responded with an abrasive disrespectful tone. Another employee stepped in to help and she was pulled aside to talk about something to which the manager started speaking Spanish so I wouldn't understand what was being said. She told me she wouldn't deal with me, only my husband and that I wouldn't be able to change the order. So I went out and got my Husband. When I walked back in Martha the store manager was getting onto the wonderful staff member that I first met with for helping. She was incredibly rude to her staff and putting her down for helping. All the while My husband and I were standing right there. Martha then began to speak to my husband acting as if I wasn't there. She handed paperwork and nearly shoved it into his hand and walked out of the lobby. I then stood with the staff member and my husband and I told her that she in no way did anything wrong and we weren't changing the order due to anything she did. She smiled and said it was okay and proceeded to help us. I asked her if her manager was being rude to her, and she quietly said yes, but it's okay, nothing for you to worry about. I wish I could say I've never experienced such disrespect from a store manager but, Martha acted the same way a year ago when I was there with my son. Rude to me, trying to upsell me, and not allowing me to access the sale that was posted on the door because I didn't qualify. Even though I did. I called the corporate office to advise them of the customer service, or better yet lack there of, from Martha. And the disrespect that she showed my family and her own staff. Be advised if you choose to go there, to stay clear of Martha. She's rude, and mean without cause, and she only cares about marking sales up and getting more money. Not actually helping the customers.
