Like many people, I was turned on to Serve the Goddess because I needed a mobile spa service and I Yelp every company before I use them. The fellow yelpers who gave this company a 5 star rating were not exaggerating, Serve the Goddess lived up to every expectation I had. Dealing with the owner, Helen, in setting up the service was very easy as she allowed me to do the majority via email (I'm hardly ever available for phone), was prompt in responding and was very laid back, which is very important for spa people! Half of the balance was required as a down which seems reasonable since they can't book other parties, and the remainder due a week or so before the event. Everything was easily invoiced, emailed over and payment was done via credit card. Now to the fun details of the party, had 15 people total for a pampering spa day, so had 4 techs: 1 for mini facials, 1 for pedi/foot massage (some girls had already done pedicures and didn't want to mess them up so Helen agreed to give an option), 1 for a neck, back & shoulder chair massage & 1 palm reader. Each of the procedures were 20 mins and the girls got to do each of the procedures so they didn't have to pick. Many of the girls commented that they were surprised that the techs didn't rush them and it allowed them to really have fun and not feel like they were just pushing people thru the procedures. I found the prices to be very reasonable and everyone had an amazing time so I recommend Serve the Goddess for any event that requires some pampering. read more

One of the most expensive facials I've had an one of the worst! Steam was barely used and extractions weren't even being done until I asked about it...after the moisturizer went on...and moisturizer wasn't removed before the two second extractions. Really annoyed and will never use this service again. ****UPDATE**** Wow, it's so sad when the owner sends this message to me: Sahar, I can understand how disappointed you must have been, however under the circumstances the technician provided best practices and didn't want to exacerbate the skin on your chin. She wanted to help it heal not add to the problem by doing a lot of extractions when your skin was scabbed, irritated and inflamed. I know you wanted perfect skin and I didn't want to discuss this directly on Yelp as your skin is a personal issue. I sincerely hope you'll consider editing your review or removing it. I decided to treat my mom and myself to a massage after a weekend of hard work and moving, and this was the best decision! The technician was super nice but I honestly don't think the service provided is worth the money. I paid $144 ($120 + 20% tip) for a technician to come by the house and basically wash my wife's feet, push back her cuticles and paint her toenails. In-store that kind of service would run from $22 to $30 max which means I basically paid an extra $90 to have the technician make a house call plus tip. We have a newborn and my wife had a c-section so I'm grateful that this service even exists but I would only ever use it again in the case of an emergency like this one read more

Booked them for a bachlorette party last weekend. We got 2 manicurists and 1 massage person for as 12 person group. Prices were reasonable for in-home service ($75/person to use 2 services - mani, pedi, or massage) and all in all it was a great experience that I would recommend for an on-location pampering session. The massage therapist was amazing, I wish I got her name, everyone was raving about her and wanted to go back for more. She had the perfect pressure and intuition about what your body needed. I was not expecting much from a chair massage, but it rivaled many table massages I've received. The manicurists were fine. One lady in particular complained about being outside so we had to make space to move the operation inside. The same lady did a really weak job with the hand massage just kind of running her hands up and down my arms. The paint job was uneven and on a few nails she only painted 3/4 of my nail. The other woman did a much better job and all in all it was still a great experience. read more

Came upon this buisness looking for hotel spa services to surprise my boyfriend upon returning from a two week trip. Decided to give them a call on a Tuesday to schedule service for a Thursday; knowing that would be tight to fulfill due to short notice they tried very hard but instead were able to come out on a Saturday. I ordered a one hour facial and a one hour massage for my wife as a surprise (Birthday present) and both Maria and Shae showed up at the appointment times. My wife was very pleased with Maria's massage skills and the environment she creates in your house by utilizing amazing scents! Shae, left my wife's skin feeling to soft and was very skilled with her facials. I'm impressed with the professionalism both the employees and company have shown! We hired a manicurist and masseuse for a lunch party and the results were spectacular. I would use them again in a heartbeat. Payment was simple, folks were on time and personable. Everyone brought their own equipment and setup/take down was fast and easy. Asia did beautiful mini-manis for the girls, young and old and gave hand massages. What a great experience! From the time I reached out to Helen to the time my party was over was wonderful. I had hired 2 nail technicians to come out to my nail polish launch party. I had to write a review after today's service!! I am 26 weeks pregnant with twin on bed rest at Cedar Sinai and going absolutely crazy. My sister surprised me today with a mani/Pedi from Goddess Spa. Kendra wheeled in with all her goodies and set up shop like i was in a spa. She was so sweet and gave a phenomenal mani/pedi i almost forgot how horrible my hospital room was since i was being totally pampered and was able to relax and not stress about my current situation.
