I tried to book again and she said it had been too long, and rejected the appointment. That's fine, I can go somewhere else. However, I was just looking at my credit card statement and I was charged $50 per dog on the day I tried to book these appointments even though she rejected them. I tried to log in to my account online with my phone number to see if they are storing my credit card information, but my phone number is apparently blocked in their system and I have no way of telling what has been stored so I don't know if she still has my credit card information. I did NOT receive the service and would never have known I was charged if I hadn't looked at my statement. She has stated she will refund but if you are canceled I strongly recommend checking your credit card statement.

We rescued a 12 week old puppy from Texas and quickly learned we needed pro help as we haven't been puppy parents for 20 years and this little girl was a nutjob and may have been heading down a bad path behavior wise. Kristin got right back to me after my initial web page inquiry. When she arrived, she was relaxed and professional and her kind, caring, genuine personality was obvious from the start. She CARES about our furbaby. Her training skills were so effective even from the initial consultation that this little pup was learning: come,sit,shake and down (heel) and most important to us was her going in her crate when asked as this is something we really want her to master and be comfortable with. Kristin made it known that our role is crucial in her training and gave us handouts for our homework and skills to be met. By the second session, our pupper was learning: "touch" (snoot boops), learning to jump into her bed and "leave it" (biting stuff) and stay. We are able to redirect the evening zoomy/crazy time with physical and mental workouts for her that is good for all of us. The entire time during these sessions, Kristin is upbeat, fun and it really feels like we've known her forever. We trust her to do the best thing for all of us. I'm so happy we connected with her. First off, I had to email them weekly to figure out the status of my application. This went on for literally like two months. Just for them to turn around and say they don't think we're ready for a dog yet?? As if it's THEIR place to say if we are or not. We visited with a puppy there. Two couples had met with that dog first, then us, then another couple AFTER us. This puppy didn't get a single break from that room that whole time. The woman who facilitated our visit was extremely snobby, saying she doesn't think we're ready. I would like to add that this was AFTER we jumped through hoops to fill out their applications and find four people to give us recommendations. We went even further and got FIVE. Five people who said they believe our family is prepared to adopt a dog and properly care for them. I was beyond devastated when our adoption coordinator emailed us and told us she doesn't think she can work with us. This was the first time we put ourselves out there and filled out an application after losing our dog in a horrific, traumatizing accident a few years ago. Just to be treated this way is really disheartening and now we're afraid to even try and reach out to other shelters. I may use a fake name on here, but I'm sure they know exactly who we are. I'm assuming they don't tell many families with kids that they're "not ready" and shouldn't have a dog. Or maybe they do, I wouldn't be surprised about that either. They are clearly not THAT interested in providing homes to their dogs so they can go save more, because there was quite literally no reason for us to have been rejected. If you don't fit their EXACT standards, don't even waste your time. We are just so disappointed. 0 stars if I could.

She is a large one year old and she is very playful. I was expecting them to work with new dogs to get them acclimated. Zoey came home and was not herself at all. I assumed she was tired. She was still withdrawn the next two days. I'm not sure what happened to her. We were told she needed behavioral classes before returning, due to barking, trying to join two dogs in their play. How they teach this in the classes is a mystery to me. I'm very disappointed that they didn't call me. This is what she was like for 3 days!!

Even though there is a dog daycare closer to my house in Smithfield, I drive to Mind Your Dog because it's worth it- super clean, super great staff and overall my dogs are happy and safe.
