I just finished reading the profile in East Side Monthly on Ruffin Wrangler. Although it was so great to see RW get some of the praise it deserves, the article did not, nor could it, capture the essence of Ruffin Wrangler. Think about this--those days when you have to leave the house and leave your dog alone for a bit and your heart breaks? You know those days. For us, and Stanley, our dog, Ruffin Wrangler means no more heart break. The SNIFF truck rolls in and they whisk Stanley away for a wonderful run, with a great pack of dogs, in a beautiful setting, with highly skilled "wranglers" taking care of him. Let's talk about trust--we trust them with our dog for hours every week. That is a lot of trust. On days that Stanley cannot make it, they are understanding and accommodating. I know there is a lot of debate about whether dogs feel happiness, which is a human emotion, but we are convinced on the RW days that Stanley is a happier dog. I have been a client of Ruffin Wranglers for two years. I work from home so you would think I would have time to take my dogs for walks. I do not have the time or the energy to take them on the kind of walks they need. Every day my dogs, especially my male, wait by the window watching for the "Wrangler Truck". The barking is insane when the orange/red/green truck pulls up in front of our house. I cannot imaging my life or my dogs lives without the amazing wranglers who come daily and the adventures that my dogs go on. They leave with their tales wagging and their voices howling with excitement and return exhausted and happy. Whenever I travel I never worry about my dogs - I think they must feel like they are on vacation because they are with their beloved wrangler Austen and they are at "the field" all day. I know they are loved and I do not worry about them in the slightest. Truly, this is the best service in Providence! I would be lost without them. Ruffin' Wranglers is a such a great service for both dogs and their owners. Our dog absolutely loves going with the Wranglers a couple times each week (we can tell from some of the pictures / videos they've sent us), and it's a great way for him to break up his day and get some good running in when we're at work. It's also great for pet parents who both work full-time and can't always get home mid-day to walk their dog or let him/her out. Plus our pooch is nice and tired at the end of the day. Blythe and the rest of the Wranglers are over-the-top nice and really seem to love what they do. They have been super accommodating for us in every way possible. We will continue to use Ruffin' Wranglers even as our pup grows up into an adult dog. I'd highly recommend using these guys, especially if you have a dog that has a good amount of energy and needs to run around during the day. read more

200% Satisfied!! I reached out to Ruffin' Wranglers after a very poor experience with my dog walker. I work some crazy hours and my dog walker wasn't showing up. I have a German Shepard and wanted to make sure she was getting plenty of exercise besides our walks and runs. One of my neighbors had told me about Ruffin' Wranglers and how great they were with her dog so I called and met the Owner Blythe... They have truly been amazing to me and my German Shepard. Their Wranglers are truly dog lovers and take very good care of your pet. They are very accommodating to my changing schedule. I travel a lot with my job and someone I need to change days and times they pick up my dog. They leave a note of what your dog did during the day. My dog is very happy with the social and physical elements of her trips and I couldn't be happier with the service. read more

I left a review for this company about 3 years ago when my first dog started. I wanted to updated my review since our second dog started. We added a rescue dog to our family last year and wanted him to be part of Ruffin Wranglers. He was not socialized with other dogs and had some issues at first. Blythe and her team went above and beyond to help him transition to proper dog play. Communication was great. They met with me to talk about ideas on how to help him and constantly updated me on how he was doing. Both my dogs love when a wrangler walks through the door - they know it's fun time! This service is great for my dogs and my family. They are more than dog walkers - the wranglers love and care about your dogs as if they were their own. Ruffin' Wranglers is better to my dogs than daycare is to my human children. The people who work here really understand and love animals. They have meticulous standards about animal health, they are astute observers of group play dynamics, and the report cards they leave at the end of the day answer all of my questions. We recently had to travel outside the country for five or six weeks. I could have probably left my girl (dog) with friends, but I know how much she loves the playdates and the frolicking. I let RW take care of her. I got pictures of her playing, sleeping, and whenever I checked in, they were so quick to respond. Ruby comes home tired and happy every single time. What an amazing organization. We were looking for someplace that our dog could get out and get some great socialization along with exercise and along came Blythe and her Ruffin wranglers. Our dog Phoenix waits each Tuesday and Thursday by the window waiting for the car to drive up the minute she sees it turn the corner she is at the door waiting for us to open the door. Once that front door is open she jumps in the car and off she goes for probably the best time of her life. Blythe and all her wranglers are amazing- they are kind and love the dogs and take such great care of our dog when she is with them- I would say that this is the best thing that we could have done!!! We have been using Ruffin Wranglers for over 5 years. This is beyond a first class operation! It is fantastic: The pups are picked up in the Sniff-mobiles, driven to a ranch in MA where they frolic and play together, go on guide walks, and have fun playing frisbee. Once they return home, owners get a detailed report of the day's events. The staff is incredibly well-trained and all genuinely care for the pups. Blythe, the owner, knows her business backwards and forwards. I know that my pup is in good hands ---- each and every time she goes to Ruffin Wranglers. I cannot imagine a better way for my dog to get great exercise and socialize with other dogs. We are so lucky to have Ruffin Wranglers! read more

If I could add more stars I would! I have been a Ruffin Wranglers client for almost 4 years. I cannot say enough great things about this doggie excursion company. My pup plays several days a week with Ruffin Wranglers and comes home happy and tired. The RW staff is reliable, trustworthy and takes great care of my four-legged pal. I have even utilized their boarding services and have had the same great experience. Whether I'm at work during the week or away on vacation, I know my pup is well cared for, and I can't recommend this company enough if you want your dogs to have the opportunity to play outside and socialize with other dogs all the while being cared for by a great staff of wranglers! read more

At last! I found my Nirvana. After all these years pulling on my owners leash, walking him through the east side streets, begging for him to let me loose. Blythe, Robin, Liam, Austin and the whole Ruffin Wrangler crew take phenomenal care of our lab Henry. He goes to "camp" 3 days a week, we call it camp because he swims, hikes, plays and socializes like crazy. We have a high energy dog and live in the city, so getting the right amount of exercise and socialization is key for the happiness and well being of our dog. The Ruffin Wrangler family takes care of Henry like he was one of their own and go above and beyond to accommodate our crazy schedule. When I brought my new puppy home, I remembered hearing of this awesome pet service. I checked it out and couldn't wait for her to be old enough to join. I was not disappointed. Ruffin Wranglers is the best. My dogs have been going for years. As soon as they hear the truck pull in the drive way they go crazy, barking, jumping and scratching at the door. They can't get in the truck quick enough! It's the highlight of their days! Max has been going to Ruffin It for about 8years. He can spot the Elements used for transport on the street and always gets excited thinking its his turn! There is nothing that makes my dog or me as happy as seeing the Ruffin Wranglers pull in to our driveway. This is Bowie's second year of hanging out with his friends at Ruffin Wranglers - he absolutely loves it. Just the sound of their car pulling up in the driveway to pick him up is enough to send him into full body tail wags, he even recognizes when we're out on walks.
