(I had to pay 2 months upfront because I'm new to Alberta). I drove around for several weeks without insurance without knowing it. They claimed they sent a registered letter, which I never recieved. They did not call or email. When I went to their offices, they told me I didn't have insurance anymore and it could not be reinstated because it had been several weeks since it was cancelled for non payment. Then when I went to get my insurance again they said I had to pay the 2 months upfront again, they said I once again had to pay 2 months upfront, and my rate was more going to be $40 MORE PER MONTH. They also said it would take 3 weeks to "fix". No compensation or anything was offered for their mistake that caused a very dangerous situation, not to mention I have a disability and need a car to get to do everything since walking us difficult.
