She prescribed me some in my first appointment which was not supposed to be used with current meds which she knew that I took and asked me about minutes ago in that appointment. I told her I didn't want to take them because they make me feel numb and unfeeling and she said "but you didn't get anxiety right??" She was argumentative and told me I wasn't a whole person. If you can't help patients with what they need then don't take the appointment. I know myself and my body better than you. I walked out of that appointment after 10 minutes crying - all the while she's sitting there as if there's something to talk about still. Please don't go to her, she is terrible.

Dr. Cahn saw me sitting in the waiting room and insisted I sit with him. In fact, I found myself spewing all that was going - for over 45 mins. I left that day with some referrals, potential answers, a link to an article and a feeling that I may just figure out what is going on. Dr Cahn's priority is his patients. He's got the kind of heart that you can only hope for in a family doc. And his PA and NP - the same. Both are incredible. His staff, family, even Lucy (the amazingly gentle and therapeutic office golden doodle) make an appt with him a welcomed visit to get better. I couldn't say enough about the best doctor I've ever had.

We usually get a much more extensive test done during our routine annuals and I was surprised when Dr. Gills office did some very basic tests and charged us for half of that! May be it would have worked out better had we gone to him for any substantial diagnosis/ treatment than annual checkup.

I called back next day to schedule - again I had to call several times since they don't often answer phones after noon. The rudest receptionist answered and rambled off details about getting a referral from my previous doctor for UBI. It was the opposite of what I was told the day before. I asked her to repeat herself and got a big sigh. She didn't give me her name and rushed off the phone - beyond unprofessional! It's sad that potentially great doctors have such bad front office staff... and often never see or read reviews that could help to improve these issues.

I was treated very poorly by his medical assistant (Rama) for trying to include more tests (which later proved beneficial) in my lab order. Some of the front office staff members were extremely rude and unprofessional and Dr. Wright's assistant (Virginia) was snooty and unhelpful when I requested her help. According to front office staff, Dr. Wright said I was not allowed to see any doctors there in the future (apparently based upon whatever they told him). Really a bad experience with this group and their unprofessional and unethical practices. UPDATE: I found out after I left a review of my experience on Tahoma Clinic's Facebook page that they immediately removed the entire section of reviews. This just seems to support my opinion that some of them are unethical and want to hide their poor behavior.

In short Other than in-patient acute rehab, this is…read moredefinitely the best way around here to make big gains when you've had a physical setback. In long 6 months ago, my lovely bride had a massive stroke. She's lucky to be here, but her mobility is still heavily impaired. She spent a month in IPR, which is available at only 5 places in the state. Coincidentally enough, there's a brand-new one a mile from our house, and she made a bunch of progress there. After that, they referred her for home health PT, OT, and speech therapy. She went from 15 sessions a week to about 4, and her progress slowed down. We found out about Swedish's program and signed her up. It took a couple months to get in, but she's off and running now. They help her a lot! She gets stretched some days in PT, some days she does strength and balance exercises. In OT, she does coordination exercises and works on getting control back over her left arm. They push her to the point of exhaustion and frustration regularly, but she keeps coming back for more. It's easier now than it was before the incident to frustrate and tire her, anyway, and she needs tens of thousands of reps to get her arm and leg back to being more functional. She has worked with different therapists depending on when they have appointments available. Everybody is smart and professional and motivating. Nobody can match the positivity and encouragement of the PTs and OTs she had in IPR, but those places will tend to draw in good talent. We do have a copay here, and home health was fully covered. It's worth the cost. Scheduling has to be done manually over the phone. Half of the desk staff is awesome, positive, and proactive. The other half is a mixed bag--y'know, the kind of people who think they're surrounded by idiots and never get enough credit. But on their good days, even they can be super helpful and even kinda pleasant. I'm glad we got in here, even if I'm not glad we needed it.

(Even on weekends and holidays.) If I need to be seen, they can get me in that day or the following day. Annual exams are never hurried, and test results are fully explained. I'm not only getting great care, I'm saving money by avoiding costly emergency room visits. I'm also confident of getting referrals to the best specialists.

She has a appointment in five months with a neurologist but we though this place might help her manage some of the symptoms and feel better before that. It is the only serious medical issue she faces and yet they won't take her explaining they don't have the "band with" to manage her condition. I suspect they have labeled her in advance as a "white whiney woman" - a term male doctors often use to describe female patients who are aggressive in getting help or perhaps they just though she'd cost the practice too much money. Either way, no help from them.
