They tried to bait and switch cars on me and were rude over the phone. I'll never do business with them in the future

They charged me $374 to fix the cam shaft accuator. Less than 30 days later, my car literally EXPLODED driving down the highway. I had it towed to a shop where the guy told me the cam shaft actuator was installed wrong and it would be roughly $320 to fix it. I called these people and politely asked them to stand by their work. They gave me a song and dance about how they stand behind their name, they are good people, blah, blah. So they keep my car 8 full days bc the owner told me he a vacation planned (all the whole I had to pay rental car fees $569). He said he would honor it and make sure I didn't pay any parts. Well, I go to pick up my car and they are charging me ANOTHER $579 $260 OF WHICH IS PARTS.Tgey admitted they f'ed up the first time and didn't fix a part in the engine that needs replaced w the cam shaft accuator. When I politely asked why I was being charged again for parts his TOTAL B daughter treated me like scum. So they F'ed me out of $1500 total between car rental, and charging me for the same job twice. KARMA IS RWAL F*ING YOU KNOW WHAT AND THIS IS A SMALL TOWN. I'M GOING TO TELL EVERYONE My car is a new model, low mileage car too.

The salesperson seemed helpful and the sales manager was great, but the owner will immediately give you the ick. We bought a used car from this dealership on 3/23/26 for $14,222 (not including fees). Within a few days noticed something was wrong. Our shop attempted to diagnose the issue on 4/7/26, but stated they needed the codes cleared first from a Ford dealership. Perry is a far drive, so we took it to Bob Moore Ford in OKC. They diagnosed a failing transmission and recommended replacement (we paid for the diagnosis). One month after buying the car (4/23/26) Seth Wadley Ford in Perry added "shudder stop" to the transmission (which we also paid for). I spoke with the co-owner hoping he would be willing to help. He suggested I buy an extended warranty. After 35 minutes of incessant mansplaining, he concluded that he wasn't sure if the warranty he just recommended would cover the transmission. Today, 5/2/26, we traded it in to a Subaru dealership for $6000. Because... you guessed it, the transmission is failing.

On Saturday morning 7/1 I called to make an appointment. Kristen the internet manager was very friendly. We agreed I should come on Monday. Later that day I got a text assigning me an appointment @ 5:00 PM Monday. That seemed a bit late since we never discussed an actual time. My wife had to work a funeral Monday 7/3 at 11:00 and we planned to leave at 1:00 for our 2.5 hour trip. I wasn't sure if the car was in Paul's Valley or Perry, OK, so I called again. Before hand I noticed Kristen had assigned my appointment to Mandy which I found in my email. Mandy also sent me a friendly welcome video to my email. When I called I had trouble getting Mandy on the phone. I explained I had an appointment that afternoon and wanted to clarify details. I felt my call was being screened. Eventually Mandy came to the phone and and asked if I had gotten her text. I am 62 and do not rely on texts but occasionally use them. I said, I don't know what's the problem? Well I wrote you that we were expecting you at 12:30 since we will be closing early today at 2:00. Can you still make it? I said No, we're in Lawton. This is when I found out the whole store found out that morning they were closing at 3:00 (not 2:00). I asked if someone would wait for me as we were just getting on the road. By now the ignored appointment and the expectation I should jump at their text was making me pretty chafed. I had no sense of appreciation for my pending business. I finally was transferred to the GM named Eric who started off insisting that 95% of the world communicates by text! So now we're blaming the customer. I steered the conversation back to our visit and after barking at each other he agreed to wait for me. He said he would go find the vehicle and pull it up front. When he called me back he was cautioning because he thought the vehicle was advertised as needing repairs. He had the wrong vehicle pulled up! Then he found the correct vehicle and said he'd get it washed and park it out front. About an hour later, just as we are driving through OKC Eric calls me back to say that after he (the GM ) had washed it and parked it up front, another sales associate sold the Explorer to another customer! Supposedly, right out of the blue, after the vehicle had sat on their lot for more than 2 months. Eric apologized profusely and said he was going soon to the auto auction and offered to find something for me. I thanked him for his offer, and said I was done.

And this shop doesn't have access to the other dealers' national Honda Acura database so they cannot and did not see all those suggested works were done only 5 months ago. Review of 6th Avenue Honda - Stillwater, OK…read more On August 14, 2025, I purchased a 2019 Chevrolet Trax LT (58k miles) from 6th Avenue Honda. Within 24 hours the car began cutting out, jerking under acceleration, and nearly stalling. The check engine light came on immediately. At first, the dealership brushed it off as the car being low on fuel and told me to "drive it and let it flush through." When I pushed for diagnostics, they claimed the car needed a catalytic converter plus three separate mounts (engine, transmission, dogbone), quoting $3,500 in repairs. They then tried to present $1,600 as a "discounted deal" if I paid part of it. What made me suspicious was that the dealership cleared the code, making it seem like the issue was gone. Luckily, the light came back on before we took it to our independent shop. Kwik Kar's inspection proved the mounts were fine and the only real issue was the catalytic converter, which they replaced for just under $1,100. On top of this, the dealership attempted to pressure us into refinancing the vehicle through them and buying a $5,000 bumper-to-bumper warranty. Neither was necessary. We had already secured financing with our bank at 5.5% interest and $230/month, which was a far better option. Summary: Vehicle failed within 24 hours of purchase. Dealer minimized the problem, then inflated repair costs. Claimed $3,500 in work was needed, then offered $1,600 as a "deal." Independent shop fixed the actual problem (catalytic converter only) for ~$1,100. Dealer cleared codes to cover up the issue. Dealer also tried to push refinancing and a $5,000 warranty to add more cost. Conclusion: This dealership misrepresented the vehicle's condition, cleared warning codes to mask defects, and then attempted to profit further through inflated repairs, refinancing pressure, and overpriced warranties. I will not be using them again, and I strongly advise other buyers to get an independent inspection, secure their own financing, and be extremely cautious dealing with this business. -Cori Sweeden
