My two children have been in Kumon for the past 3 years. This has been the best investment for them…read moreso far. They have been progressing tremendously in math and reading. I signed my children in math originally. After seeing their great progress at school, we decided to sign them for reading as well. I wish I had signed them for Kumon reading from the beginning. I highly recommend Kumon. It creates a strong foundation in math and reading. It is very important to understand that you need to give it TIME, as the aim of the class is to rebuild the foundation! Time is needed to rearrange thinking process and problem-solving skills, but after a while the progress is impressively rapid!!! We have been with the Bristow Kumon center since they opened. It is a great center. The instructor is very kind and patient with the kids. She spends a lot of time individually with children to make sure they master the skills at each level. She has been great in her communication with us regarding the kids' progress on a regular basis. I highly recommend this center!

I really enjoyed aiding in the classroom regularly, watching the children thrive at school and assisting in all the seasonal events. Miss. Jess and Miss. Porsha will treat your child like one of their own children, and treat you like a long-time friend. It's a collaborative environment, in which teachers work with each child's strengths and weaknesses, then communicate ideas and solutions to the parent. The teachers always start the day with a plan but understand the importance of pivoting when something isn't working for an individual or the class.  Children are given a safe place to play and are encouraged to get messy. Sometimes a spontaneous dance party is exactly what the children need. We are sad to go to kindergarten this fall because we will miss this MAGICAL place with our favorite teachers, best friends, and wonderful memories.

The cooperative program at Alpha-Bet is exactly what our family needed! A small family like approach to child care where the parents make the decisions makes you feel so safe. 1. With their quality of education extremely far less than Mason, a Bachelors degree from ECPI…read morecosts far more then that of GMU. WAY MORE.. 2. Many of the "professors" just pass you with a passing grade even if you turn in shit work, a lot of them not all don't really teach much, and lack passion. 3. All the classes are pre-made and most of the class work is uploaded on coursehero.com 4. The career services at ECPI are lackluster, they literally just scrolled through indeed and sent me links to help-desk positions. 5. Save your money work hard and go to a standard regular college, ECPI has not been good to me, I am relying on my certifications to get me a job in my field.

Do not go here to get your education! It is a scam that you will not get much out of! There are so…read moremany things wrong with this place where do I even start: 1. The teachers are sort of odd-ball teachers that I have never experienced in my life. They seem to not be very competent regarding the material they teach and they lack passion. The tests are either really confusing and unfair, or so easy it is almost stupid. There is so much material in such a short period of time that you would be lucky to remember 2 things of it. These classes are not being taught properly for sure! People need repetition to be able to learn effectively. The classes are a waste of time. Do not go here if you actually value your education and want to learn. There was one circumstance in which we just sat there for 2 hours and did almost nothing. It was like a waste of time really. The classes make your head spin. 2. The rules oddly changed. An example is the time that we were supposed to be in class. At first, they told us we had a 10 minute grace period, meaning we would not lose any points if we got to class 10 minutes late. Then all of a sudden that changed, and being 2 or 3 minutes late caused you to get points taken from your grade. 3. It is all a bunch of gimmicks. They do not inform you that a C is considered failing for certain degree programs such as LPN, RN, and a few others. Thus, if you fail, which would be like getting a 78, you have to possibly wait 4-5 months to re-take the class and you will owe them more money! Also, I know in the RN program they make it so you have a test at the end of the program and even if you fail the test, and cannot receive your degree, you still owe them the overpriced degree money! These people are going to get all of the money they can out of you no matter what! The RN program does not have a very good graduation rate, one time it only being 8/25 people who graduated! People are paying a lot of money for sub-par education. Someone could get a master's degree for the same cost of an associate's degree. Do not pay that much money for sub-par education. The DON is just in on the scamming people, actually everyone is there and if you have enough perception you can see that. 4. The people that try to get you in are confusing and just make you confused so you will want to continue on so they can ultimately get some of your money no matter what. Do not take what they say that seriously, it is all just gimmicks. They were trained to be like that. Invest in a community college or a university, it will be worth it in the end. Go somewhere where you can actually learn properly. 5. Companies will not want to hire you if you have a degree from this place. Most do not consider the classes real college classes and think that people rush too fast through them. The idea of a fast degree may be nice to hear, but is not really realistic. Do not fall into these sale's people's gimmicks. I am so happy I got out while I could and do not owe any money. I have another degree and have graduated from a university and let me tell you these are not real college classes. This place is screwed up and they need to have more of a conscious about them instead of scamming people into worthless degrees.

When the summer program was over I chose not to re enroll her in the before and after school program and the director tried to make it as difficult as possible by charging me for 2 additional weeks, accusing me of not giving a 2 week notice (she likes make accusations), even though I had never enrolled my daughter in the fall program. I spoke to the regional manager at the time, who adjusted my account to reflect a zero balance since I should not have been charged for the 2 extra weeks. Fast forward, I need before and after care for this school year and against my better judgment, decided to enroll here again. Huge mistake. The director pretends to be excited to have our business again, the first red flag though, we had to pay $150 up front before we were even able to register. In a rush I just paid it thinking this business is large enough to not be fraudulent... wrong. I was told the enrollment forms would be sent to my email immediately upon payment and they never came. I even showed up to the center and showed her where the funds were deducted from my account and she still insisted "Well, if you paid it would have gone through, you just have to wait and see if the bank processes the transaction, I will reach out to you on Saturday if it does...." She emailed me SUNDAY, despite telling me she'd reach out on Saturday, asking if I had received the forms... I hadn't. On Monday I enrolled my daughter at the Alphabest program offered at her school and then requested a refund from TLE....... When I called, the director asked if I had received the forms, I let her know I hadn't and would like a refund because the whole situation was messy and unprofessional. She then tells me she can't refund me because "I have an outstanding balance from 2023." 2023! And the balance was never brought up during me trying to re enroll. I tell her that is incorrect and I have a statement from the regional manager at the time that shows my balance being zero. She still goes to accuse me of not answering her phone calls about the balance.... I NEVER received any contact from that center after receiving my ending statement from the regional director. The dishonesty and unwillingness to take accountability is so unprofessional here. I've been trying to contact these people for almost a week now. I've had to report the charges to my bank. I've always gotten bad vibes from the director here, she is VERY disorganized, incompetent and dishonest. Not sure if my race has anything to do with it, but she was and still is a nightmare to deal with. Too add, to date I have yet to receive a receipt, confirmation of payment or statement for the transaction or "balance due."

She said "it depends" and looked like a dear in headlights. I said oh what?? She asked what school my child attended then said uhhhh I don't think we have availability- we're probably all booked..... I walked out. What on earth.

The price was the most affordable in the area, the hours of op. were the earliest I could find which was extremely convenient for days when I needed an early start. My son attended from about 9mo till about 3.5yo, until we moved out of state, and i never regretted our decision to choose CC as the daycare for him.
