SEV Laser - Lobby - Laser Hair Removal Near Me - Dallas, Texas

I would not recommend this SEV location. I have had 2 bad experiences that made it apparent that customer service is not one of their top priorities and thus I do not plan on returning. I was told that laser will not remove blonde hair and when I asked if I could swap a location from upper lip (blonde) to elsewhere since it was not going to take I was told it would be an extra charge if I wanted to be lasered elsewhere (in the same "small area" category) even though I had already paid for 6 treatments in a small area. Regardless of if it was going to work they would not allow me to choose another area (swap)without an extra charge. Today, I notified SEV that I was running a few minutes late for my appt to which their reply was "We have a 3 minute grace period". I showed up 4 minutes after my scheduled time and was told that they could not see me and I could be charged the late fee or give up that session. A 3 minute grace period in a large city like Dallas is absolutely ridiculous and unreasonable. The staff was less than apologetic and it was clear that they could care less about trying to make something work in both cases. Please, save yourself the drama and poor customer service experience and seek your laser treatments elsewhere in DFW. read more

I've been coming to SEV Dallas for over 2 years schedule an appointment for them to tell me that due to my blood pressure medicine they cannot service me. I have to be off of my blood pressure medicine for a whole week for me to have Laser service. I've never been told that and it is clearly not documented in the pre-service requirements. I bought a Groupon for their service. I've had my appointment cancelled on me twice after driving there (an hour away from home) two times. Both times I've been told "the tech I've been scheduled with is unable to come in" with absolutely no notice. They've sent me out without any service and promised me I'll be contacted by management. Their customer service appears outsourced and entirely unhelpful. I don't think I've ever been treated so poorly and I'm extremely disappointed. Would not recommend in the slightest. read more

Used a soap that had what is apparently a derivative of an ingredient you can't use before treatment (not listed by SEV as do not use). Was told I would be charged for treatment from my account, even though no service was received. Front desk was beyond unhelpful and I think implied I was a liar. I loved this place until they called me saying the technician wrote down incorrect medical information about me and canceled an appointment. I tried to correct them, but they very rudely told me I was lying and that the technician I saw for 2 minutes knew more about my health and body than me! Most likely won't never return now, as I don't want to frequent a business that thinks they can control my body! Reviewing after 6 months of appointments - there is no difference in hair growth in either area (underarms and Brazilian). I booked out appointments as directed and followed the rules. I purchased a Groupon on Monday. I have called four times to make an appointment. Each time I have waited to speak to someone for over 20 minutes. This past time, after waiting 20 minutes, I inform the receptionist that I have a Groupon. She puts me on another hold and then hangs up the phone. This company appears so disorganized. THE WORST RUN COMPANY!!! They are so rude, have terrible customer service, not accomodating, and have no availability. The appointments take 10 minutes, and they ask you to come back every 4-6 weeks yet they can't get me in for another 3 months. This happens every single time I go. I had to make a Yelp account so I could review SEV. Honestly, I'm blown away how insanely fast and painless they do laser hair removal! I'm just mad I didn't do it sooner. Seriously though, I've had razor burn way worse than the laser hair removal. You hardly feel anything at all! And I'm a baby when it comes to pain. Mickey is also so sweet! I was at my appointment on time, taking my clothes off and the aesthetician asked had I taken antibiotics in the last two weeks. It dawned upon me that I have. You have to schedule these appointments months in advance so I wasn't thinking about the medication I had taken. She said she can't do the treatment because it would hurt. I was 4 days shy of being in the clear. She told me to reschedule my appointment which was fine but when I got to the front desk the clerk said I had to pay a $50 cancellation fee. I didn't cancel my appointment I was there, in the room undressing, and they said they wouldn't treat me because I needed to wait 4 more days. Which I'm glad she asked me because their are terrible side affects, but that's totally ridiculous. I could see if I hadn't bothered to show up or was late. Beware of doing business with companies that have no exceptions when you've been a customer of theirs. read more

Poor service they canceled my appointment due to not having enough time for me on the day of my appointment for the service I wanted. They stated I needed to have more services done in order for them to see me. Sounded like they just wanted more money instead of attending a customer the right way. read more

So I bought two Groupon for laser treatment, one for me and one for my girlfriend, talk about being treated as a second class citizen. First and foremost scheduling was a nightmare, I mean it was totally fine when you bought the package but after that they were constantly booked. Secondly one of the tech there complained about everything. First it was my hair was too light, so she started to refuse to do the treatment. I told her I paid and I know the risks of it not working but I wanted to try. So then she turned the laser way down, which made the first session worthless. The second tech did great and I could actually feel it and smell the burnt hair. But then on my third session I got the first tech again, and again she complained about everything and again the laser was turned way down. After that I asked to never have a treatment with her again and they said they would try. 4th and 5th treatments were fine so I felt like I was getting somewhere. Then the last treatment there was that first tech again... she said I looked red, I told her I am always red, and she said okay and did the front of my neck, with again the laser turned down. Then she got to the back of my neck and said I was sunburned and she couldn't do the rest of the treatment. I told her I wasn't and she went back to but your skin is red. I again told her that is normal for me. So then she said I was warm to the touch. I told her I am always warm to the touch and she stated that is a sunburn. She then gave me a paper towel with aloe on it and told me to apply it to the front on my neck, without a mirror or anything to see where I was applying it. (The other techs applied it). Then I went out and they said I would have to pay for the second half of my treatment since they don't split treatments. I told them it was crap since the tech stopped the treatment not me. Needless to say, there are many options out there for laser treatment and I would recommend staying away from this place. read more

The ladies at the front desk are absolutely wonderful. They are beyond helpful and friendly. They take your temperature and give you hand sanitizer upon arrival. I had my first session today with them. The technician was very informative and knew what she was doing. I didn't feel uncomfortable at all. The LHR was not painful whatsoever.
