10 out of 10!! It's been at least a year, I wanted to try this restaurant, because a high school classmate was a bartender here. Needless to say, I never made it before he relocated. But I still had this place on my mind to try... Well the Saturday before Christmas, myself and 5 others decided to go out for brunch and this was suggested. This place seemed small inside at first glance, but from what I know now, they have more seating in the back of the restaurant, but we were able to dine in front near the bar without worry. Our waitress Ms. Vickie was an absolute pleasure! We ordered our drinks and meals... I cannot speak for everyone but for me and mine... My husband had the chicken plate with sides - tore it up! Now me y'all - I decided to order the platter because everything on the platter I liked. I must say in my 40+ years of life, I have never ordered a platter anywhere!!! It is always an item or two I want to sub, but this one here, give it all to me! Now I did ask Ms Vickie if I could get the shrimp steamed... OK fried it is :) For the wings and shrimp you can choose a dipping sauce or have the item sauced (I believe). I opted to have mine on the side. Yall...bomb!! Just bomb!! Everything on the platter was so so so so good! Before the plate reached the table, I told my husband he was gonna have to help me eat it. I didn't need any help if I wanted to be greedy or if I knew it would be that good... but he did eat a few things. He agreed, it was very good! My drinks were superb! Some of the fellas ordered mules - they were pleased! Overall just a great first time! I saw at least one other larger party (10 or 12) near us and Ms Vickie advised a head of time, there would be a wait before placing the order to the kitchen to avoid back up - super understandable, but mentioning that makes all the difference in the world. Me and my man went for a nice dinner, food is amazing ! We're not from here but anytime we stop through we like to stop here ! This restaurant was such a disappointment for what was supposed to be a great time with with friends for brunch. Upon arrival the restaurant was not busy maybe that should have been a sign for us to leave, instead of proceeding to stay and grab a table. Service was low, extremely slow. A long wait to even get waters on the table. No silverware was brought. Ordered a side of mac n cheese and it came in such a lil tiny bowl almost like a condiment bowl, shouldn't even be considered a side. Also it was extremely greasy and didn't taste good at all. The food took even more time to come out and it was an order of just two wraps and two sandwiches. The music was loud and we had a speaker right on top of our table. used to think this was a hidden gem, but after the recent menu revising not so much. The cajun pasta was a favorite of mine add crab meat, and it was all great had no problem paying the additional cost, but now with the recent menu change, you have to pay for either protein with both separate charges, and the separate charges are definitely on a higher end for most restaurants. when I came home and had the pasta, it had a strange aftertaste so I'm not really sure what's going on since the new menu change but unfortunately, I do not think it's for the best. read more

This is a black owned family business. I was able to conversate with one of the family members who work there. She had a beautiful spirit. The ambiance was nice and quiet and comfortable the period at the time that I was there it was in between the busy times but I can tell that it's a sort of has a sports bar feeling and it's a younger crowd that would usually be there but I loved it I had gotten the Philly steak egg rolls and they were to die for. Went here for brunch on a Saturday! The windows from the outside are pretty tinted but when you go in, it is actually a very vibrant, bright, cute place. The service is definitely on the slower side even though there weren't a ton of people when we were in there. Surprisingly for majority of the food options, the prices are pretty steep. I will say though, the portions are huge and it's definitely really filling. I got the philly cheese steak and my fiancé had fish and chips and we also had a crab dip appetizer. My philly cheese steak was huge! But it was a bit on the salty side and if you're eating a philly cheesesteak that big, the saltiness gets overpowering after a while. I have been to this establishment numerous times and I have watched it come a long way. My initial visits were turned off by the slow wait for such a small restaurant. But the consistent factor has always been delicious food and an amazing ambiance with friendly wait staff. I have been here a few more times and the wait for food has improved dramatically, the ambiance is still a vibe, and no matter who has waited on me it was pleasurable. My Family is from new orleans and My mother gave it her stamp of approval, so at this point how much I enjoyed the food doesnt matter. But the menu is Delicious. Let me first say the food was tasty for the most part. The service was ridiculously slow and poor. We arrived at 11:35 we did not get out of there until 1:38. TWO HOURS! The service was so slow that several folks got up and left because no one ever came to their table to take drinks. We got our drinks. I got a whiskey sour my husband a sweet tea. (By the way during that entire two hour odyssey my husband never got a refill of drink). We got wings appetizer that took a very long time to come out but it was tasty. Oh we are out of romaine lettuce so neither of your orders will be made. Damn. We are now 1 hour in, when were you going to tell us? My husband and I found this restaurant in passing and were pleasantly pleased by this gem. The stylish decor and music were welcoming and relaxing. We were greeted upon entering and our waitress, Ashley, was quick to bring our water. She was pleasant, friendly, and helped us decide our meals. Let me just get it out of the way and say upfront the food is decent. Not amazing, not bad. It's okay. And it was hot. Now for the rest of the ordeal. First, we were disappointed at around 3pm on a Sunday when we got there, were seated, given menus, and then told its lunch time....no more brunch. That's on us. We ordered drinks, the alcoholic beverages came fairly quickly, my girl's soda didn't come until she asked for it again. She ordered a Philly cheesesteak, I ordered catfish. I asked if I could get broccoli instead of fries, she says it's $1 more....i asked "why" if both sides are the same price. Her response: "I have no idea, they just charge extra." Cool, leave it as is. While we wait for our food, the server brings utensils and napkins.....I was so underwhelmed and disappointed that they brought us "to go" utensils, plastic ware, for a sit down meal in a sit down establishment , for plates that were basically $20+. Very tacky. Food comes. It's hot. The cheesesteak was HUGE. The fish was covered in paprika, or something red, idk why. Not appealing. I had little containers of hot sauce, ketchup, and malt vinegar (again, the little to go cups). I'm like no tartar sauce?? For fish? I asked for some and the server brings me two (yes just TWO) PACKETS of tartar sauce. I looked back at the menu, it says the fish comes with HOMEMADE tartar sauce. That was it for me. How tacky is it gonna get? Let me tell you how tacky. Our server took her lunch break, and sat right next to us while she ate....technically on the other side of the window, but still out on the floor, with the customers, in our view. The Hennessy and Sunshine drink is really good. The jumbo ice cube kinda gets in the way but I guess everything is about aesthetics these days. It's a hidden gem, restaurant and bar, that you can bring your kids to. When you walk in, you're bedazzled by the crisp and clean decor and greeted by welcoming servers. The place is a bit small but luckily at the moment, since it's new, it's not fully crowded yet. My group was able to get a table right away on a Friday afternoon. The food is delicious and well-seasoned. My complaints are that the serving size for the crab and spinach dip are a bit small for the asking price and the plating for the stuffed salmon is also underwhelming for the set cost. My whole table thought the food also came in lukewarm, almost borderline cold. The drinks were a bit of a hit or miss. I recommend getting one of their flavored margaritas. They were sweet but also left you feeling buzzed after 1-2 glasses. But I would steer away from the cosmopolitan, which tasted like watered down liquor, and the Bahama mama, which is normally my go to drink, but had a weird after taste. In the end, I would come here again. Probably to try out their breakfast menu next time. I had high hopes when I entered your establishment. The atmosphere was nice and the server was friendly. My hopes quickly disappeared after waiting an hour to get our meal. Then to add insult to injury after finally getting our meal we're asked to move from our table to another table. The reason we were given was "there is a party in the room and they paid to reserve the room." We asked for to go boxes packed our food with no intention of ever visiting the establishment again. First off let me start saying this is a small black owned business and I feel like the establishment is wonderful however the service was slow and the quality of the mimosas tower was terrible to say the least. I think this is a great restaurant and has opportunities for growth. Cons: It took forever for my table to get food each persons meal arrived 15-20 mins after the other and it took us almost and hour for everyone's food to come. After we talked to the owner she compensated us with a mimosas tower which was amazing however the champagne is the tower left my whole group with a horrible stomach ache. I was tossing in the bed for hours. Pros: The food is bomb !! I had a sampler tray with fried shrimp, wings and cheesesteak eggrolls. The eggrolls were mid, the wings was decent but that shrimp was sooooo good! I am still thinking about them. My sister had a fish plate that had me drooling for hours. Of course I had to beg her for a piece and end up wishing I got what she got instead. The rest of my party was satisfied with the food and the drink tasted amazing. Other than the stomach ache there is nothing I can complain about the drinks. Went for breakfast on Sunday. There were two waitresses so service was very slow. The food was ok. My mother in law and I had the steak omelette, my sis in law had the denver omelette and my husband had the shrimp and grits. I asked for no tomatoes in my omelette and my mother in law wanted some in hers. When they brought the food, I clarified which was mine and they said we don't have tomatoes so neither has them. I might've had a better review had I not been ACCOSTED by the "boss lady". Me and my friend drive 20 minutes to Seven Bistro to enjoy an fun advertised Karaoke brunch. Upon arriving at the restaurant we were surprised to see that there was ABSOLUTELY no karaoke going on but a dj in the middle of the restaurant.. okay. We were sat quickly but it took a while to be greeted by a server. Side note: why do these restaurants advertise special days but can't accommodate the amount of customers. Anyways, the food was decent.. first drink was alright but the problem came upon waiting for our second drinks. We waited 20min and hadn't seen anything from the server. When I did hear from here she told us that the bar was backed up. I finally had enough and had to re approach her after the workers including the "boss lady" stopped working to twerk in the middle of the restaurant and give out free BIRTHDAY SHOTS while I had been waiting at this point 30 min for my drink. The server brings the "boss lady" over and she proceeds to sit down at our table and aggressively tells me she didn't know the kitchen was backed up and that's not her job. She comps my drink because I called for her but does nothing for my friend who was also waiting. Food was alright vibes were good but none of it was worth the drama and having a manager or whatever the heck she was approach me in such a demeaning way. I went to 7 bistro with high hopes but sadly they were not met, I would like to start with the positive the inside looked really nice I liked that. I went with my fiancée and mother and they both enjoyed their drinks. The time in between my waitress coming back was too spaced out and the availability of some items was disappointing especially so early in the day.
